I was lucky enough to spend a week in Yellowstone National Park in late January of 2023. Temperatures reached as low as -38F! This was by far the coldest conditions I have ever shot in. The freezing temps and hot Geysers made for incredible photography conditions of yellowstone wildlife. This is the 3rd and final video I will be releasing from the trip. Hope you enjoy!

Another stunner Drew! Love the juxtaposition of the geo-thermal effects on the frigid cold temps! I can appreciate the solitude and how it affords you the time and ability to really set your scene and not be dictated by the 'rush' of people that would otherwise effect your framing and vision. Yellowstone is a spectacular place anytime of year, but pure magic in winter. I visited in early March 1986 and was moved by its grandeur and unique landscape.
I love it. The simplicity of gentle music and scenes from our beautiful world. Fabulous cinematrography and videomaking.

I'm curious if you bothered getting the film permits to Yellowstone and if so what that process was like. Utah national parks are very expensive and difficult to get permits.

Be careful walking up to the railings at the overlooks during the winter as the snow level reduces the height of the railing😮😮 you reach out to grab what's usually there in front of you to realize it's down at your shins and that your inches from going over the edge of the lower Falls in the Yellowstone Grand Canyon😮
