Great moves and use of lapped traffic to recover from that T1 moshpit😂 looking forward to testing these karts out and competing (hopefully actually competitive!) at state!
any tips on how to get faster from an average time of 22-22.3? or is it just a trial and error process of getting fast in these karts because Im only able to go once a month for league races. also am i pushing to hard if the karts starts jumping? sorry for long question!
If the kart is jumping/bouncing mid-corner, it's probably a mechanical issue with the kart setup. If it happens with multiple karts, then try to be smoother with your steering input.
As for improvement, the braking point and amount of brake for turn 1, so you slow down a little bit but not too much, and staying on the racing line is huge.
Do you have a external mic connected to your GoPro? How’s the audio from inside so good. If I’m yelling loud you can hear me but I’d love to be able to do commentary on the fly like you do 😂
For short races, I use a Go 3S from Insta360 as an in-helmet version of a GoPro (audio and video). The mount is magnetic and DIY, so not perfect and dies after 30 minutes of footage, so not ideal. I'll tinker with it, or save for a Cambox visor cam and do a proper comparison.
If you have a chin mount for the GoPro, then a lavalier mic like @subtlehustlemoto3737 mentioned would work well. Especially if you have the GoPro media mod/case

I don't know what mic he uses, but I use Purple Panda mic it's installed in my helmet. $40 or less on Amazon
