Hey Liz, another great video. One downside for me was Trip Wizard updated their app and no longer works with my version phone.
@@TimothyMichaels oh, my gosh. I will be sure to let them know about that. Hopefully another update will fix that.
I have a breakfast casserole I make the day before travel. It's just eggs, cottage cheese, shredded cheese and pre-cooked sausage with a little bisquick. It's easy to make. I bake it in an 8x8 glass baking dish and it makes 6 servings--enough for the two of us for 3 days. It's filling, and healthy. It keeps well for several days. Just re-heat in the microwave. I don't have any dishes to wash either. Love your travel videos. Columbia River gorge is really beautiful, I agree!
That's a great tip, thanks for this Phyllis!
That sound so much more delicious than a frozen burrito! I was trying to think (yes dangerous for me🤪) of a dish free alternative. It’s going in my file for easy brekkies on travel days.
My late husband fell in love with me on a trip following that exact route through Idaho and Montana to Glacier. I still have our motor home. Such beautiful memories this brought back. Thank you!
Wow, how awesome. I bet you have so many wonderful memories. Big hugs to you!!!
Any chances of getting that motorhome out and doing it yourself like Liz? My mom is Liz’s age and I just took her with me to the beach for a couple days in my RV and it was a wonderful trip. Now she wants to go again. Her and my stepdad have a 35’ Bounder just like my Bounder so hoping we can get back out there soon, but I was just watching this video and my mom was very curious to hear all about Liz doing this on her own. Maybe you can too!
@@bounderchris My motorhome needs some repairs that I can't afford right now. I made the mistake of letting someone use it for a while, and it did not end well. But I do plan to get out there once I get it fixed up again.
@@LizAmazing I do. Sweet story, too. After that trip he spent 18 months working to win my heart before he came out and told me how he felt. Needless to say, he succeeded! We had a lovely marriage and I miss him every day.
@@agr8h2o oh no I am sorry to hear. Yes with these rigs you don’t let anyone borrow them. They are way too complicated! What year and model rig do you have?
I salute you and your guest on not holding back and calling out names of those that are NOT backing up what they sell. It would be interesting to see if their customer service improves going forward. Oh the power of bad press!! Power to the people!
Yes indeed! I'm looking forward to doing a follow up one day. Thanks for watching
Interesting channel and important subjects you talk about. It would also be interesting to hear little more about the places you visit. Non US residents could learn a little bit more. My wife and I love your energy. Keep going!
You truly are an amazing, adventurous spirit, Liz, thanks for bringing us all along! Safe (and restful) travels!
Thanks Wes, so glad you came along for the ride! Have a great weekend and see you in the next one.
Liz! Get yourself a box of nitrile or vinyl disposable gloves for handling those diesel pumps. Unlike gasoline, that diesel smell sticks with you no matter how much you wash your hands. And many pumps are just incredibly dirty. I’ve been doing this since my first diesel truck some 20+ years ago. Have a great trip!
Great tip, Paul, thank you! I did get some nasty stuff on me one time. Ugh. I keep some gloves handy. And thanks for watching.
Liz, I am so envious! I’m thinking about selling my home and buying a motorhome, but at 66 years old and by myself, I’m not sure it would be a smart decision.
I’ve been an RVer my whole life and know how to do everything but I’ve never done it alone.
I wanted to mention, when you park, your engine should stay running with your emergency break engaged until you put your jacks down, and then your slides out.
When leaving, start the engine, emergency brake on, pull in your slides and then pull up your jacks.
At least that’s how we do it in gas models but it is important to have your motorhome completely level before putting out your slides.
Happy Camping!
Hi Cindy. I always tell folks if this life calls you, then go for it. And I understand your concern as a potential solo traveler at 66. Maybe there is a way you could modify your plans so that you travel less, or maybe only twice a year from RV resort in summer to RV resort in winter? I'm sure you'll find a way if this dream keeps calling you. And thanks for your tips. I do it in the same order but don't always have my engine running for setup. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and see you in the next one.
@@LizAmazing thank you, great advice! Appreciate your time.
GOD Bless.
I know you're happy with your choice of a big Class A with a toad, but watching this really makes me appreciate how easy and convenient my little Class B is! We all roll differently.
That we do! I started out in a camper van and my needs changed. Love how there's a different RV for everyone. Thanks for watching, Carl!
Love your edits!! They are so funny you do a great job with your videos! So excited for this adventure, I bet you are stoked!!
Thanks Mary! It was a fun adventure, glad to have you along for the ride !
Every one Needs To watch Your Video's They are an Inspiration. and Maker RV travel Much more Desirable, Thank you so Much .LIZ.
Glacier has changed sooooo much. We took our kids many many years ago, over 30😬, when there were still so many glaciers see. It's really sad that so many of them have melted away. At least the waters/lakes are still there & the hiking is phenomenal & a bike trip over Going to the Sun Rd has incredible views.😊
Yes! I loved every minute of my time there. It's my happy place for sure. Glad you know it, too, Jane. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for a realistic view of RV life. I wish I had your moxie
That was a fun video Liz. The morning burritos cracked me up but it's a great idea on a travel day. I bet that area is beautiful. I think we will be heading that way next summer. Safe travels.
what a cool Lady. Alone with this huge bus and pulling a big pickup. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
What a cool German dude! Looking forward to meeting the both of you in person!
Liz, you showing us your breakfast burrito every morning was hilarious! LOL
now that being able to go to the bathroom is reall a game changer for me. I had a 22 foot trailer and I drove fron L.A. to Oalkland and had to use the bathroom NOW. I had to pull the trailer on the side of the freeway, get out run to the trailer, use the bathroom hoping a car would not crash into me, got out and ran back to the truck and pulled out as soon as possible before a cop could get me a ticket and breathed a sigh.
Great video….. we’ve done 4 days straight of traveling to a location and decided to keep it to 3 days….. it can get exhausting traveling between places! Keep up the good work…. lots of people don’t know about RV trip wizard or RV mattresses they can order…. I think it is informative! Enjoy Glacier 👍
We have been workamping in Montana since May. We love it here. We are 25 miles from West Gate of Glacier National Park. We plan on visiting Grinnell Lake tomorrow.
Continued safe travels
Awesome! I hope you had fun. Can't say enough good things about Montana! Thanks for watching.
Grandson and his lady bought my 2003 SeeYa 40'. Both work remote. Big hikers and tow a Jeep Recon with it's own roof camping for occasional weekend side trips.. Spending two weeks at every state and national park. Started in Denver, down through Phoenix, and are now back up in Zion. Will reach Glacier around mid October. They have endured deep snow storms and high heat already.
Wow, what an epic adventure. I hope to see you on the road. Happy travels and thanks for watching.
It is the Columbia River Gorge, and I agree - it is so beautiful! We have lived here for 15 years.
Yes, it's a gorgeous Gorge for sure! Lucky you to live there. And thanks for watching.
I’m a new subscriber and really enjoyed this video. Only my third video watching and this was a new side of you. The other two were helping people with their rv problems. I like your sense of humor😊.
The morning cuppa spills were hilarious. 💯💖
Thanks Monica, it was a fun video. See you in the next one and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
One of the most scenic places to camp was at Mary’s lake. Some friends of ours daughter and son in law are work camping at glacier, they just converted a school bus, a schoolie
Yes! So much gorgeousness in Glacier! Glad you know the area. Thanks for watching.
Curious, why not just stop in a rest area to sleep and rest during travel and not a park each night? You unhook everything then next day hook it all back up?
No, there was some stays between the four days of travel so I setup camp fully. When it's only a day or two I don't set up a lot. And I stop driving at 3pm (following the Rule of 3's) so don't typically like to stay in rest stops. On Day 3 you saw where I didn't need to hook up my truck or roll up my patio mat. That was a one night stopover. Thanks for watching.
Glacier is so nice, I worked at an Air Force campground located there one summer long ago. If you have never been to Glacier it is worth it. I hear that the going to sun highway now may have length restrictions. I got snowed on in July up there. Many Glacier is a must see. The Canadian side with Waterton and Banff also worth it.
Really enjoyed this video. Montana is our happy place, especially in the Glacier area. Enjoy and safe travels !
Hi Liz.. thanks for the tour east. Looks like we now have a route ! Still in the NW WA peninsula. Really enjoyed Sequim.
Great commercial for RV Trip Wizard and Brooklyn Bedding
You are so funny and truthful the beans kicked in. You are spry get right in there hooking unhooking. Strength stay with you💪
Thanks so much for your support, Heidi!
Liz - another great video, thanks for the ride! We've done the Oregon coast a few times and love that part of the country and looking forward to going back again. And thanks for the tip on the RV mattress - we need to replace the one in our RV and I'll look into Brooklyn Bedding. Safe travels!
Thanks Bob! Enjoy your mattress and thanks for coming along for the ride.
We're did you search for your RV and did you get an inspection.
So glad you had a great trip- good video. You always seem to put a little smile on my face, I don't know what it is, I believe it is just your cheerful disposition.
Watching you in your travels brings back memories. One of those memories was the time I had spent in my small single-axile Layton in the Mt. Shasta area. Someone told me that you could attach an RV trailer to some sort of pontoon, essentially converting your RV into a houseboat, and have a great time in Lake Shasta.
This may be something your fans would be interested in?
Wow, that would be so fun. Would love to do a video of that!!!
I'm so glad I have lithium batteries and solar over my four years of full time RV so I don't have to mess with RV parks.
Thank you, Liz, for doing such a great job on these videos! You keep it real with a great sense of humor. Love love love your energy!
Thanks so much, Cindy! Glad to have you here. See you in the next one
Fun video, you are traveling through territory that I am very familiar with I spent most of my life in Oregon but 10 years and North Idaho. I'm heading to Glacier next month can't wait. Safe travels
Columbia River Gorge at 5:49 and probably at Love's truck stop 5:13 outside of Boardman Oregon and The Dalles Oregon 5:39
Wow, you know your places!!! Thanks for watching and for being here. See you in the next one.
Your almost at 100,000 subscribers - GOAL !!! Good to see I’m not the only one that needs to rest after towing . The app looks good- I always forget to use those ! I just saw you are -a runner - That’s your secret , to looking fit and slim 👍 I need to do this - inertia , must -just -get -started !!
Hopefully as you go through Glacier, you will take us along.
I really don't do travel vlogs, Sandy. Unfortunately most people don't want to see them. I started out this channel doing them. I will continue sharing RV tips and tricks. Thanks so much for being here!
Thanks Liz. Your videos are very helpful. I will continue to watch.@@LizAmazing
you're my hero! everytime I watch you travel in great big motor home i am so inspired! and on top of that you pull a big a** truck! Boss
Liz, i travel towing a suv on my 28 foot rv. I know how hard it is going it alone my hat is off to you and your skills towing a truck with your class A . You are amazing 😊 I really enjoy your vids!
Hey Liz, I hope you have a great trip and I really like your videos. God bless.
I'll meet you there. I'm on a 6 week 6,000 miles road trip in a minivan. Haha! First stop Dana Point, CA. I will sleep in hotels 1/2 of the time. I drive 800 miles per day.
Awesome! I'lll look out for you!
I rode my bicycle from Seattle to Bar Harbor one summer. I crossed the Continental Divide in Glacier National Park. Awesome place. See you in the road sometime.
Oh my gosh! What an epic adventure. Thanks for watching Brooke and looking forward to meeting you on the road.
Haven't been out that way in a long long time nice road trip have a great day
Thanks for traveling with me Sam!
Mt. Hood! Hope you enjoyed it! Oregon is amazing.
You are amazing, thank you for taking us on your journey!
I enjoy your videos. I appreciate the products you show on your videos. Also thank you for showing how these travel apps and tools work. Happy travels:)
Thanks for the video. We will be using the same route from TT Seaside up the gorge to North Dakota in mid September.
Awesome. Lots to see. Just be careful in that very windy Gorge! Happy travels.
OMG I was LMAO during this video. Music was perfect!! Loved the coffee spilling. Glad your trip went well.
Yay! Thanks Dan!
You are welcome Liz. Still chuckling.
I enjoy your videos Liz. Your great on camera. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for being here!
You were close to me, darn it!!!! I hope you LOVED our beautiful JEWEL!
Shoot, where are you? Sorry I missed you!
Kalispell ( east area) 30 minutes from the Park. I hope you got some Huckleberry goodies. Where in the Park did you hike?

@@maureenharrah931 West Glacier. And Polebridge! You are so lucky to live here, I never want to leave. 🌲
Love Polebridge! Are you still here? @@LizAmazing
Boy, somehow I never knew how much I’d miss your, “Welcome to the channel. I’m Liz. I’m a full time RV’er..” intro. Now that it’s absent. 😅
That was some trip! I’m exhausted!😅 Glad you’re finally able to relax, Liz! 🍀🙋🏻♀️
Such a fun and interesting video! Would love to see more videos from that area. 😊
Thanks, so glad you enjoyed it. See you in the next one.
Thanks for taking us on your ride. 🙏🏼
You are so welcome, Bill!
Glad to know about the discount but this video felt like a big commercial for Brooklyn bedding that was mentioned about 4 times or trip wizard. Was hoping to see more of Glacier and not just info about your bedding.
Sorry you were disappointed. Feel free to fast forward. And thanks for watching, Tina.
I've got a friend who I advised to watch your videos! She is just like you but doesn't have an RV! She was so surprised to see a female out there like that but was inspired by it nonetheless! I love to watch your videos because you seem to be having so much fun out there! So free! Keep on making these videos we love them!
Hey there! Thanks so much for sharing. Sure appreciate the love. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and see you in the next one.
I only for you to be healthy and happy, I do have a long trip for you. Shasta Caverns in just South of Organ.
Great video! You are bad ass girl!...Bravo! Safe travels!😎
PS...Was Glacier Nat'l Park crowded this time of year? It's on my list.
It's getting less crowded by the day as school is getting back in session. But the crowds are not much to begin with, in my opinion. Hope you make it out here! And thanks for watching.
❤thank you for sharing..I hope to found peace on the Road as well soon
Yes, living the dream for sure. Thanks for watching Gina and have a great weekend.
Liz. Great video. I have a large trip plan next year from Florida to the west 11,814 mi. Some of my routes coincide on what you took. I have included an Alaska and Hawaii cruise while on the road. Biggest trip ever. BTW. Got the mattress. 😊
safe travels
Wow, that sounds like quite the big trip. So fun!!! And so happy you have the mattress. Sweet dreams. And see you in the next video.
Hey, I was just camping in Montana/Idaho and I thought I saw your motor home passing! Long journey! Thanks for sharing!
I went by on August one. Such a beautiful area. Thanks for watching.
Great video. Our first cross country trip, we made the biggest error anyone makes, we went too fast!!! I am not sure we will do the "just over night" stops, ever again! By the time we got to California, (from FL) we were done. I asked to stay a week instead of the two days I had booked. I rescheduled the remaining trip at a much more sensible pace!! You showed exactly how exhausting it can become.
Yes! So true, I was exhausted just watching it! I kept saying to myself that I’d spend at least two days at each stop. When I first suggested traveling to my husband I said I wanted to take 4months to go from southern Alberta to Key West. It grew from that to being in the States just under 6mos every winter for 4yrs. and Canada in the summers.
Great video Liz. What we like to do and not just for travel days is to do eggs, sausage, bacon, etc outside on the Blackstone and put them in Ziploc bags. If we are traveling or it's raining we put what we want on a plate and microwave it.
Great tip, thanks Dean!
You are brave driving that big RV and towing your truck.
Awww, thanks Marie. This is far easier to drive than my fifth wheel! Thanks for watching.
Great traveling with you. I wish you would have shown more of the Columbia River Gorge on I-84 from Multnomah Falls to Umatilla. Do you really get all of that stuff out (that the video shows you packing away) for just an overnight?
Thanks for watching, Cee! Some of those were longer days. On Day 3 when I was hitched up and had no patio mat to roll up, it was just a one nighter.
You should disconnect the transmission when towing the truck behind. You can ruin the transmission because it is rotating dry when the truck isn't running.
yup we had a great time in Idaho
I love Idaho!!! Thanks for being here, Allan!
Another great video/job you showed pashentts and not being in a hurry. Love the scenery and the ability you show of hooking and unhooking your pickup and setting up your rig. Fantastic, till next time be safe and be happy. 🤗🤗🤗🤗👍👍
Thanks Larry! So glad to have you along for the ride. See you in the next one.
Awesome video. I was laughing each time your infomercials started. Thanks for bringing us on your trip!
Hi Mark! So glad you enjoyed this one. Have a great weekend and see you next time.
I have to hand it to you going solo and having fun doing it.
I sure am! Thanks for watching.
Your sound was messed up during your bed commercial.
That’s ok there was plenty of other ads in this video🤣
It worked fine when I played it. Thanks for letting me know as maybe UA-cam was having a glitch. And thanks for watching.
At 9:00 sound was only coming out of the right speaker. Not a big deal but some people think it is.
What mattress do you advertise
@@barbaracoble8350 I had back surgery almost 2 years ago and I switched mattresses. I upgraded to the Brooklyn Bedding mattress. It is awesome! Mine is the Aurora Luxe
Oh Liz! Your BEST video yet. You go girl!! Big hugs from South Florida 🤗
Awww, thank you! Hugs right back to you!
Hi, fun video! I live outside Louisville and bought that same coffee mug for my Sister. I pack lunches and snacks when Hubby and I have travel days. Even though we can use our kitchen in travel mode, we sometimes want lunch when we are between stops, so I can pull out the small cooler on the back seat and eat while traveling. I also found nuts as a snack work well. It keeps us from gas station junk food.
Good tips, thanks so much! I lived in Fern Creek for a while before moving to Lexington. Big hearts to Kentucky for sure!!! Thanks for watching Carolynn!
Thank you for taking us along on your awesome journey to Glacier National Park. Everyone stay safe, happy and healthy. From Henrico County Virginia
Thanks so much for your support, Norm!
Good job on day #4 Liz..... you didn't spill your coffee coming out. lol Safe Travels and God Bless.
Hi Scott! Yep! Took me a few days of practice going down to steps to finally NOT spill my coffee! Thanks for watching
I'm impressed... all that and you're by yourself... Impressive I'm a guy and don't know if Id do that alone... and you hooked up the truck to tow.. nice rig! I like seeing the road shots of the area and countryside... Why the wheel covers when you're staying short time and wind shield wiper protectors too?
Hi Don! Welcome to the channel, I'm so glad you're here. I bought the motorhome in southern Utah and the owner kept the tires and wiper blades covered in the desert sun. Thanks for bringing me closer to 100k and see you in the next video.
Huge respect to you and your solo travels with such a big rig! I love the footage of you getting fuel surrounded by all those semis. I said to my husband, "I wonder what kind of comments Liz gets from some of the truckers?" I'm sure a variety.
Hi Barbara! At first it was intimidating but I'm used to truck stops now. So much easier to get fuel there than at a regular station. Thanks for being here!
Loved Glacier, there last September, road to the sun is great (scary). Finishing up a 6500, 7 week trip, back to the Texas desert of Fort Worth, hotter than Phoenix there today, finishing the trip in Branson, MO. Be safe Liz.
Wow! What a big trip, I bet you have many memories. Keep cool and thanks for watching.
Loved the video Liz would love to see more picture of the area you are in. I should be headed into Montana in about 1 1/2 weeks. I love your motorhome the the way you have fixed it up. Thanks as always t./c and be safe.
Thanks Jeff! Montana is one of my favorite states. Enjoy it, you'll be here at a perfect time!
Hey Girl, Gary from Kansas here. Just got back from our RV trip to Eureka Springs, AR. Couldn't wait to watch your video! I would love to do that trip you just did. You make it look easy! Such beautiful scenery, too. You make traveling with a motorhome look so easy. One day I think we'll dump our TT and get a small motorhome. Like I said in one of your other videos, I love your motorhome. It's beautiful! See you in next weeks video! Stay safe, girl.
Did you dig for gold while you were there? I remember doing that somewhere in AR, don't remember where exactly. Such a beautiful state and a well kept secret. Hope you had an amazing time! Enjoy your weekend and see you in the next one.
What awesome places you visit Enjoy
Thanks for coming along for the ride, Deb!
Love your montana shirt
Enjoy glacier was there 20 years & it was awesome then
Liz we are in Portland, Or., and I just made our winter trek itinerary, last week. We are going The Exact Same way to Glacier NP. Then we are heading south, to Colorado, and New Mexico. Then over to Quartzsite, for the winter. We are going to see as much as we can, before settling down for the winter. We head out on 29th of Sep.
Wow, Tracy! That's the perfect time to visit Glacier. There shouldn't be many crowds at all. Hope to see you in the Q later this winter. Happy travels and thanks for watching.
Stay north Liz, we’re burning up down here in Texas!😂 safe travels
Yep, gotta keep following that 70 degrees. Thanks for watching Byron and keep cool.
Love the music!
Good to know bout mattress options for RVz. RV mattresses suck.
I had great fun on this travel trip!! You're in your element and I'm glad for you!! Woopsie coffee chats, love it! I'm working on becoming brave and seeing and doing amazing things!! Love your work, too!!
Awww, thanks so much for the love and support!
Thanks for taking us along on your journey! You make it look so easy and seamless 😊….. Lisa
Thank you for another interesting and well done video.
Awww, thanks Bill, you are so kind!
I commute many times a year between my house in WA state and my second home in AZ in my motorhome. Believe it or not I have made the trip many times non stop 1200 miles in 28 hours in my motorhome and my toad. First know your fuel stops, know where the rest areas areas are and I plan my time to get through Boise ID and Las Vegas in non rush hour times. I too plan fast microwave food so no dishes. I make my fuel stops between 200-300 miles at the most. Have drinks ready and half way through I stop and lay down for about 20 minutes after a hot shower. I only drive 62 miles a hour at the most. Steady speed is better than fast as stuff can happen fast when you are tired and driving too fast. I drive mainly at night as there is less traffic and less wind to deal with. When I do stop and sleep and make it a couple day drive I never put my levelers down or my slides out and don't unhook my toad. I don't want to have to do any thing that takes time away from driving and putting miles behind me.
Great tips, Alan, thanks for sharing. Yes, definitely a lot to think about and prepare for, but when you do it makes it all so much easier. Thanks for watching and see you in the next one.
Thanks. Enjoyed going along on the trip!
Thanks Thomas, I am glad you are here.
Liz, OMG I just discovered your channel and I LOVE IT! Im curious why you cover your RV wheels at the RV parks? Thanks and safe travels ❤
Hi Latitia! Welcome to the channel. I cover the tires to protect them from aging in the sun. Thanks for the good wishes and see you in the next video.
Love love LOVED this video. Great editing job btw😊
Thanks so much!!!! Great to see you here again and have a great rest of your weekend.
You are inspirational Liz
This is my favorite video!
Great video Liz! That’s a good idea to cover your wiper blades from the heat & debris.
The motorhome spent most of its life in the desert so I think the previous owners had to cover the blades bc of the sun. So I'm just keeping with tradition. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend, Mike
Cool vid, thanks Liz!
