Do you consider Cad Bane to be honorable? I mean he did some despicable things but he definitely is no coward and seems to follow some semblance of his own personal code.
I do. I don't consider him to be a villain per se, just an antagonist, an antivillain. When he meets Obi-Wan and Vos, he's perfectly fine to just walk away until Obi-Wan states that he intends to take him to jail
I think he is more of a moral person but he is not ethical. He has his own moral of conduct and follows through it to the very end, but of course sometimes his moral conduct does seem unethical to most average person
Yes I think he's honorable
Don’t think it’s so much a code of honour more a code of conduct, he is a professional after all.
His code is based off your usefulness. If you’re skilled or useful, he sees you as worthy to live.
Without even knowing, Cad bane saved the galaxy
Nice
(Cad Bane) If your gonna kill him! Do it like a man.
Me too.
Cool.
He deserves his own movie
Nah

Damn bane really saved his life the obi wan backstabbed him.
I guess you could say in Cad Bane's experience, there's no such thing as luck
This is so sad Mr Bane finally does something honorouble and he gets stabbed in the back. What kind of lesson is that?
I was pretty shocked when cad bane saved kenobi even though he was disguised as someone else based.on his personality he doesn't seem like the hero type
It wasn’t really a “hero” move, it was merely a matter of honor. Cad Bane kills people, but he also follows a strict code of conduct wherein for one he despised cowardice; both the cowardice to avoid confrontation and the cowardice shown here where Kenobi was intentionally not given enough ammo in order to unfairly kill him off, despite him winning every challenge so far. Bane saw that as highly dishonorable and so saved Kenobi not out of compassion or heroism, but integrity. Hence the end quote after saving Kenobi, “if you’re gonna kill him, do it like a man.”
@@indefiniteregent Made an interesting character even more interesting.
@@indefiniteregent naw kenobi was the best shoot at winning the game cad babe ain’t no dummy
I think Moralo Eval was just seriously pissing Bane off at this point with his wounded ego crap so it wasn't really about saving Kenobi per se, but about ruining Eval's plans.
Cad Is basicaly Deathstroke: he Is a ruthless killer but he value the Honnor
Only by being tested can one improve themselves. It is not a test of your skills to shoot someone in the back, or to cheat someone in what was supposed to be a fair contest of abilities. Only the strong survive. Only the stong thrive. If you challenge someone to a duel and they draw quicker, then you deserve to die. If you challenge a legend, like a Jedi, and triumph, then you deserve to thrive.
This was how Cad Bane lived. He was the best, and he knew it because he constantly challenged himself by taking jobs no-one else could achieve. There's a strange honour in his world view. It's brutal, but honest.
He saved Kenobi because the actions of the taskmaster didn't fit Bane's philosophy. It wasn't a fair contest. Kenobi (as Hardeen) had conquered every challenge and proven his worth, in Bane's view. To trick him and kill him by not supplying enough ammo was dishonourable and cowardly to him.
😈If your gonna kill him…DEW IT like a man.
This right here is why he was Palpatine 's favorite bounty hunter.
I love cad bane. My favourite character from clone wars.and the “Reward!? I’ll give you a reward when I plug you full of laser bolts” is my favourite cad bane line.
Bounty Hunter sure have their code.

1:45 It seems that you can place fingers between the blocks in the wall. If Obi Wan was quick enough he still could save himself from falling.

I’m here right after seeing the season one finale of Book of Boba Fett
What episode is?
This is in Season 4! The episode is titled The Box!
Bane deserves his own show. He was one of the best bounty hunters during the Clone Wars era, and since he's still around post empire era, he's still kicking out bounties, despite his age. He's in his early 70's during that period, and his species lives about 140 years, so he's essentially 50-60 in human years.
