However, now with 2 kids and the wife wanting more comfort and a smoother ride, I need the extra room and improved ride that a 21' gives. How much would one of these run with a jack plate and 150 4-stroke Merc?

There is no such thing as a standard size garage. How about you measure your garage then look up the makos’ specs?
