Thanks for filming it leaving port I was on on it that day but missed leaving port as we were in the theatre watching a show could just feel a little rumbling think it must have been when the ship was turning around 😀
Thanks for your comment and I hope you had an enjoyable cruise. I had a quick look at the deck plan for Disney Magic and I believe that the theatre is on deck 4 near the front of the ship. If this is the case, the rumble that you felt was probably the bow thrusters near the front of the ship that help the ship to move away from the berth and turn around. Once the spin was completed, they can use the main propellers at the back in the usual way and the bow thrusters are no longer required. Although you cannot see the bow thrusters, (since they are obviously below the water), if you have a look at the video, when the ship passes, on the side of the ship (near the front just above the water line), you can see three white propellers painted on the side of the ship. These are where the bow thrusters are located below the water so this may be the rumbling that you felt.

Hi Reece - yes it does now. On the day of that cruise though it was still 7:30pm.
