- In This Video: I attempt to de-badge and de-sticker my ford fiesta, I thought it would be an idea to just wing it and not research anything; in the video, you can see how that turned out. There is still sticky residue left on the car so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know in the comments.
I don't know a whole lot about cars but I'm documenting my process as I learn more by experimenting with my own car, I try to do all the work by myself where I can. Why not follow along with the journey and subscribe I would love to hear people's opinions as I embark on this adventure into the automotive world.

I use wd40 and a plastic ruler always does the trick
Sticky residue = goo gone stuff.
Or isolpropyl alcohol.
Otherwise bug and tar remover
Goo gone works great, used it myself 👍👍
I also found it works great if you let it sit on the sticky for awhile, like couple of minutes and then rub it off. Comes off easier but u still need some elbow grease doe
Thank you both I'll have to get some goo gone and finally get rid of the residue 😄
Sticky stuff remover and tooth floss is the best in my experience unless its a sticker
Yeah I considered getting sticky stuff, but got isopropyl alcohol instead cause it worked out cheaper 😄 and it worked a treat. I hadn't thought about tooth floss that's a great idea
@@NAUTOG ah I didn't think of isopropyl alcohol! I might try that next time I debadge anything, but I can recommend floss its strong and doesn't damage the paint👍
To remove stickers and badges use a heat gun or a hair dryer. Remove the gue use WD40
Use acetone for the glue residue, will wipe straight off
that's a good idea I'll save that one for later 😁
petrol or thinners will sort it
Or ipa
Yeah I managed to order so isopropyl alcohol and it came off straight away 😄
