my G4 gets a max range of 12 miles. I am only 135 lbs... also the website shows a front disc brake which is also in their video, so they advertise a front disc but only give you a rear disc. I am super disappointed in my Gotrax G4 :/
Yes, I noticed the lack of the “advertised” front brake as well. A bit disappointed. Apparently, the “second brake” is electronic, and also in the rear wheel, activated by the single brake lever. Not sure how that constitutes a second brake!
I just ordered a Gotrax G Max with 40 mile range!!! Stoked I can't wait but won't get until next week I'm dying to ride!!! May go rent a lime today just because lol

If the battery dies, can I walk with it home? My last escooter died 4mi from home and wheels lock up so I had to carry 28 pounds 4miles. Can I freely push this home if battery dies?

I weigh 135 lbs and I only get 12 miles. ( clear weather, no wind, full charge, warm temps.) Disappointing range, less than half of the advertised range.
The battery is really effected by the amount of throttle you use but I would say 12 is about right, but they have the new Gmax ultra which is the same but more battery power and it claims 45mi but really it it gets about 30 (way more than I really need) but for the price it’s a good value for either. Ride quality it smoother than the bird I returned, the airless tires were hard as rocks and it thumped every expansion crack I hit. If you want real long trips the “emove cruiser” goes 60mi for real Micah from electrek tested it but it’s $1399

@@kevynrojas2587 you're only talking a 2 mile difference which isn't very much. I would assume there is either a climate factor or the cells on their battery back held a charge better than mine. either way 12 and 14 are a far cry from 25.

Here is a Throttle tip for u guys that For some reason Gotrax never ever mentions 🤷🏻♂️ . The throttle only becomes active when the display changes from odometer to speedometer. So you don’t have to push faster or double pump the throttle, you only have to Waite two seconds after you push off for the display to change from odometer to speedometer. ………. You’re welcome : )
