My husband is Army as well and finished 2 years ago and finished as a specialist as well! Watching these and hearing your side and my husband’s at the same time is so amazing! He says yep with you explaining everything then goes to explain things deeper to me.
When my uncle was in the military during a thanksgiving dinner and his camp was getting shelled mid dinner and everyone went for shelter he sat there and was like this is one of the only good meals of the of the year and he sat and ate through the whole shelling he is alive today and was severely punished.
i miss my army days, i left after taking a stray round through the face, was in cover and a bullet came from behind, went in through my cheek, shattered some teeth, went through the roof of my mouth, through my right eye, and out my temple, how i survived i still dont know, but i lost my sense of smell somehow and i have a sweet prosthetic eye edit: all i remember from it was being told that the bullet was halfway sticking out my skull while the medics stabilized me, it never made it all the way out somehow

Hi Narrator. I've just left the Royal Navy and the amount of similarities that I found between our respective militaries and how we are all just big kids. I have definitely 'secured' someone to a ceiling before using black masking tape and played kerplunk with them afterwards. From one veteran to another I'd like to not only thank you for your efforts and service, but I have to thank you for all of yours and the boys content as it helped bring me out of a severe depression due to service life and I've been forever grateful. Keep up the good work oppo, you're efforts are greatly appreciated by all.
I'm such a fan of Narrator's that I was so happy to see I have the almost exact same necklace as his. The chain has a mix of black and silver and my Mjölnir is a little different but we both have the wolf heads biting the ring that's holding Mjölnir. It will remind me to work my hardest and do my best, but don't forget to have fun and enjoy life in the process 😊

So my brother is in the army and (assuming he’s being truthful) this is some of the things you have to do. 1. When the drill sergeant yells a command at you, you yell it back. Same volume, same order. If they cuss, you cuss too. 2. You have to call them by drill sergeant. Not by their name. It’s a big no no if you do that. 3. No apologies. You don’t apologize for anything. I was taught about these when my brother told me a story about how he had found out his dog died, and was out of it. He was given commands by his drill sergeant, and had called him by his name. He then apologized for it, realized he had apologized, then apologized again. He didn’t get into it but he said it’s the worst he’s ever been yelled at in his life.
slight correction about the Javs: only the battery cooling unit will die if the missile isn't fired. simple swap and reengagement puts it back in the fight. it'll also only blow up after its been shot past the minimum range of engagement. love u narrator! thank you for your service brother!
3:13 that's a M777 howitzer tube. What would take place after he is fully secured to the tube is they would elevate it all the way up, about 85° from whatever ground they're on. If they shot it....closest I've been is off to the sides where the buzzel break blows out and that feel like getting hit with a truck, the tube will recoil back. So that break with give him a mettle kiss. He may sound like forest Gump after.
