- The Laidlaw's H-D crew sets off on the Harleys for a road trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. This feature-length documentary follows the boys through southern Utah and all over Arizona as they hit the "Road less traveled" and visit the more remote side of the Grand Canyon. Everything from the roads they travel to the places visited is documented in this cinematic American Road Trip on the greatest motorcycles in the world - Harley-Davidson.

@@PeterSmith-or3pq Sure it would brother! I took four trips from corner to corner and everywhere in between, thru Colorado with the peeps on my old ‘02 fuel injected 5 speed 88 Softail Deuce! First and Last days of the ride were 550 mile days. It ran like a cheetah. Get that 95 out there brother, ride as far as you want to ride each day; it’s YOUR trip, nobody else’s! You’ll never regret it!

Seriously a rad experience. We ate after sunset but we were on the trails at sunset which was nice!

Another great documentary guys! I lived in Arizona for three years. I retraced my steps again thirty-five years later when I took my wife to the North Rim. Arizona has everything but the ocean. Glad you guys made it home safe!

I’m from southern Cal but left 22 years ago. Rode mostly desert back in the 70’s-80’s then transferred overseas.
Have a 2014 Breakout. The roads here challenging.

Recently been in that area as a tourist from Germany. Easily one of the most epic road trips I‘ve done. It must be totally awesome to experience this on two wheels. Watching your videos is the closest thing to trying it out, so thanks for that guys!

Will be visiting the North Rim in a couple of months and this video is a great resource of information for first time visitors. The scenery is breathtaking and this should be an enjoyable trip. I am told the lodge offers no wifi , grocery, lodging has no TV, cell service is sparse but people visit for the natural beauty. If you demand amenities the South Rim is your place..

The South Rim was more desert like than the North Rim with its trees. That was in 2014, don't know what it's like now.

born, raised 5th generation Arizonan. had a friend tell me he wouldn't ride with me to the North Rim. Each time we went, it snowed. Nice video. Mountain bike, hike, ran the river, motorcycle new friends. next one is the Z06 on the Rim. thanks for a good ride.

Matt, I've commented on your vlog before. The ride you made through Zion. I live in St. George and rode out with some friends last Saturday to the North Rim. We're lucky to have such a great, easy day ride so close. Thanks for showcasing our beautiful Southern Utah area. The country in which we live is so amazing. No matter where you go, from east coast to west coast, the landscape is so incredible. Though sometimes it feels that the world is in chaos, there's something about the experience of riding on two wheels that just rejuvenates the soul. Thanks again.

Got drawn for deer hunt in Kaibab 8 yrs ago and took that same drive from Chandler Az. alot of the footage looked familiar. Ate breakfast in Jacob's lake as well. You're video made me want to take the ride in the bike now. You guys did awesome. 👍

Matt, what a fantastic job, great cinematography, music & narrative! I did a similar trip from Texas to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley & on to Santa Barbara last year, this reminds me of that great trip. Last thing you are correct Barstow is the arm pit of CA.

@@MattLaidlaw Yes Sir ,,I also noticed lately, its cooler down here 2 ,,LOTS of nice Country roads along the Rivers & lakes,,,mini-dragontails everywhere,75mph speedlimit thru the Forest,,you can smell the Cedar trees at this time of the year. lived here all my Life,,, just North of Lafayette, La.(I-49)& I still say we have the best riding roads right here ,,lots of History ,,good food 2,(I can smell home cooked food& ,Bar -B-q all day on Sundays!!(,now,,Imagine riding all Day -in the Shade ,lol,,,on a slo -roll-,😎👍..Matt ,,Thanks for sharing this Grand Canyon trip,,,,I was there ,,,watching it on my 85" tv,,, very,cool video.! Absolutely love your trips. I’d kill to have roads like this to ride on. The UK isn’t half as scenic. Roll Sunday we’re flying out to vegas and have a day trip from the strip to the canyons west rim. You guys are proper inspiring ✌🏼
