Author and percussionist Cheri Shanti Lunn travelled to Trinidad, Cuba this winter to document and study the culture of Cuba for foundational work for the Return to the Roots Project. Part of this project is to honor the elders who have kept the culture alive. It was a treat to find these guys playing every day at the Casa de Cultura in beautiful Trinidad!
