Well my 7 is trash it have 2 problems
Edit: 1.My phone is sucks in cooling down it self (when my phone is hot it takes like 2 hours to cool down)
2. After I charged my phone it gets laggy so I have to restart it every time after I finished

i feel like the most underrated thing about the iphone 7 was the updated taptic engine that is now in every new iphone, it just made you feel more immersed in the phone. idk how to explain it but the updated taptic from iphone 7 which set the standard for all new iphones is just magic to me 🥵
Kouyendou N’Da dame, my mom used the 7 before upgrading to the xr and the Taptic Engine was amazing, I would press the home button a hundred times per minute, it was addicting. And it feels more durable too.

I have to agree. I was using Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 before I switched to iPhone 7 Plus and its taptic engine really amazes me.

Samantha Dunn I don’t know if you already got the answer, but it’s that little vibration when you press the home button. It’s a small motor called Taptic Engine
I actually traded in my 7 when the XR first came out! I should have waited because I could have gotten more a month or two later. Oh well, I’m still very happy with my XR. It’s the perfect size for my hand, loads apps very quickly and the battery life is great. I’m good.

Pear 326ppi is fine. I get close and can’t see any pixels. Is black as black in Oled? No. But I don’t use my phone next to an Oled screen. It’s fine.

I just bought an IPhone 7 a few days ago, and I don't have any complains yet. I am quite satisfied, I only have to get used to IOS because I was used to android. But IOS is a lot easier than android I personally think I bought a good phone and was worth the price.

I personally use iphone 7 and then shifted to Xr . The Xr is way better then 7 in terms of Battery and camera and more points for latest display

well i never really used 3d touch i only used it for the keyboard but what u can say is if you use 3d touch a lot you're going to be frustrated for a while unless you're willing to get used to it. it misses a lot of features from 3d touch like peek and pop and pressing hard in apps and links, but where the xr DOES implement haptic touch, it really feels like 3d touch and you'll barely notice it if all you do is access control center and use the keyboard, and it still uses the taptic engine and everything else like games and other apps or scrollling on numbers, shit like that

For all of you having trouble deciding to upgrade to the XR or not, in my personal experience having a 7 of 128gb model, and upgrading to the XR of 128gb is a huge improvement in everything. The camera is amazingly better, battery life is a beast, and the screen is pretty much the same, although it will have better color accuracy, speakers are much louder, Face ID is accurate in my case, rendering videos or editing is much faster thanks to that A12 Chip.
The XR is an absolutely beast, I’m happy with it, and for me, the best colors to choose are RED and BLACK because it will hide those slightly big side bezels that has, its not a major thing so choose the one that fits you properly.
Black XR is the best. Colours are cool but I reckon after a year you’ll hate the bright ones. It’s like buying into a coloured kitchen that’s bright pink because it’s cool but then you’re stuck with this colour that becomes dated in a matter of months..
Black just blends in and the bezel looks less pronounced, it’s premium looking and the screen pops more
I bought the black iPhone XR yesterday and I absolutely love it. I upgraded from the 6 and the XR is worth every cent. I definitely recommend it

My only complaint is the horrific battery on my IPhone 7. Bought brand new exactly 2 years prior and the battery is worthless as well it’s worthless. If it had a great battery life like some of their models, hands down best IPhone ever! Especially for the new super low pricing now in summer 2019! Only real pound for pound competition is the IPhone 6(s)!

As a lover of small phones, I think iPhone 7 has the best feel on hand with its perfect weight and size. Also the iPhone SE (went back to it from an Xs) is a great choice still in 2019, both are holding up perfectly until some of us wait for apple to release a compact device.

Why not compare the 7 Plus to the XR? The 7+ has portrait mode and is generally better.
I just switched to XR from iPhone 7. Touch ID never worked great. I prefer the Face ID so far

EWWWW. 7 Plus is cheaper looks the same. 10 and 10R much more features and design for like a bit more.
iPhone 8 and 8 plus are pretty much a iPhone X with TOUCH ID it has the same A11 Bionic chip there’s nothing wrong with 1920x1080p screen Face ID is way to fickle for me a lot of people and the convenience with Touch ID I don’t even have to look at my phone to open it
Oh and that notch is terrible looking I’ll take my bezels with the native 16x9 screen
@@fkitcrutch6764 Why do people care or put so much security on their life. We lock ourselves out of our own lives with security, bodyguards, face id, touch id and iris scan. Oh voice activation recognition technology too. I do not use face id or touch id on any phone and i never will. Just do not lose it or leave it behind in weird places. 8 Plus has the same resolution as the 6 Plus from 2014. A10 Fusion is still 95% of the speed of the A11 and looks the same just no glass back so u can break it and be charged 500 bucks to fix it. For a bit more u get the modern design and a bit more features and portrait mode on the front, front camera stabilized? 10 and 10S and even 10R. Why not keep the retro for so much cheaper with the 6S Plus or 7 plus, fuck the 6 Plus to slow or move right into the future of bezeless no notch face id technology. The 8 Plus is a dilemma. 3 below with the same screen and touch id notch button and bezels for much less and 3 newer with no notch and bezeless display for a bit more. Either stick to the retro past or move into the future. The 8 Plus is the Wall. We do not need the Wall. Most Americans and Global community 80%-90%, agree.

I left iPhone for a while and have come back to the iPhone 7 and have to say it is awesome it half the price of the car right now and have to say it is amazing. I was using a oneplus 6t and Android is nice but iOS is so smooth. I have really enjoyed this phone.

The iPhone XR is great but they should have made the display 1080p or more.
I have been doing my own comparison between the 7 plus, XR and X. I'm over 50 and the gestures were easy to adjust to and I found myself trying to use them once I picked up the 7 plus again. I like the feel of the X. It just feels better in hand and in pocket. The XR feels huge and thick after I've used the X. What keeps me coming back to the XR is battery life. It's crazy good. I have compared video quality and don't feel like I'm giving up much with the XR compared to the X. It's not that big of a deal. I've got to part with two and right now only the 7 plus is confirmed a goner.
Steve Consley, X is smaller, has 3d touch, deeper blacks and 2x zoom. Xr has a better camera, better battery life, bigger display, more powerful chipset. Now depends what you prefer...
Sanitarium I’ll tell you that I find my self carrying the X 75% of the time or more. Time will tell. It seems to be all about the form factor and the thinner, lighter, smaller phone is winning me over.

I have the XR and wish I had the 8 or 7 simply for the home button. I know it’s a back peddle, but I hate when I’m wearing sunglasses in the summer (daily) and I have to take my glasses off for the phone to unlock.

I had more issues with fingerprint sensor not working quickly and right than I’ve had with Face ID. Wouldn’t go backwards to Touch ID again.

I had my iPhone 7 for two years. Dropped it a lot, but was still in great condition (with back and front cover and screen protector) got back £105 apple voucher from apple store. The screen feels smooth to the touch and the apps move fluidly. Shame the Xr phone cover is only available for the back because the front is slightly curved. But got very strong screen protector on front.

Mike Arima might be true but, nobody in their right mind would but the iPhone 7 today over the XR. the 7 will get iOS 13 maybe 14 but after that the updates will probably stop coming for it, the XR has about 5 years left for support. So the xr is still a better buy.

I have an iPhone 7 and I just prefer Touch ID over Face ID. Its just more convenient for me and you just have to use a finger print and both Touch and Face ID have pros and cons but I just prefer it. When Apple puts a Touch ID under the display in their upcoming phones then I’m definitely upgrading but that’s what I hope for which might not happen lol
I thought so too, until I really started to use face id. it’s just so convenient, just pick up the phone and it’s already unlocked. and it works about 98% of the time, as with touch id it struggled in the morning, with a little dust or moisture on the fingers...
I purposely bought the 7 plus unlocked to get the Qualcomm modem. I hope to buy the iPhone Xl if Apple and Qualcomm can resolve their issues or figure out the Intel problems. I don't want to risk giving up my no problem phone for one with problems.
FAB 2 you have two weeks to try out the phone and take it back for a return or exchange if you’re not satisfied. I would have purchased the 10R first. If you did discover that you had modem issues you could’ve just taken it back

Samuel James Sorry, I should have stated that I've had the 7 plus for two years, and that it wasn't a recent purchase. Your right about trying out the phone and returning it if I didn't like it. I would love one of the XS's now, but I've been waiting to see if Apple fixes connectivity issues. I waited on buying the Pixel 2xl and was rewarded with no issues affecting the launch devices. I like both platforms. It's hard to wait on the verdict of new phones before purchasing. I guess that's why we are all here. 😏

Despite having 78% battery capacity with more than 1000 charge cycles. I’m having no major problems on my iPhone 7. Just shorter battery and apps restarting often in background.
I’ve got both, and honestly there about the same.
Still having XR and this is beast

Getting use to the home button is an adventure in the the first few mins but it’s a nice upgrade from the seven, got mines for $170
