These guys NEVER miss and a Jesse Leach clean chorus is icing on the cake. The consistency over the years is ridiculous.
Two solid Facts: Anything ABR does is a guaranteed belter and You know it's gonna smack when the guitar hasn't a headstock.
That was a great 1st song to surprise us all with. I'd be keen to know the meaning behind the lyrics, seems a very personal song carried with a lot of pain behind it.
Wow they are still killing it and with a Jesse feature...legendary. I remember seeing them live and they were absolutely amazing.

ABR killed it as always it’s why they have been my favorite band since 2007 it doesn’t matter how many albums they produce it’ll always be something fresh even though they don’t change the overall sound of the songs it never gets stale every album there’s something new and something to like about the overall sound of the entire album but they stick to their guns in the sense you could stick a song on from thrill seeker and a song from this new album and still be able to say that’s abr 100 percent not a lot of bands can pull that off and still be on top of their game they in my opinion are metalcores GOAT because they still are slamming harder than most bands out there and have been doing it since it gained popularity that’s difficult to do as a band especially sticking to the style they play but it blows my mind how it’s always good and something to like about the newer material I can’t wait to hear the full release and as a guitarist jb brubakers guitar work always hits home he’s a beast on the strings I mean ten albums deep as a metalcore band keeping the same sound they had when they started and still going strong that’s a feat on it’s own can wr nominate august burns red for metalcores GOAT I mean common lmao

I pick up serious Phantom Anthem/Leveler/Found in Far Away Places vibes. Between the vocals and guitar riffs. Love the guest appearance of Jesse in this really brings a nice balance to Jake’s heavy vocals

I am a huge ABR and KSE fan. My all time fav song is Barbarian by ABR, but i just feel like this was lacking, im not sure why but it just left me feeling like it was a bit mid.

ABR has needed a different vocalist forever. Jake is great one of the best, But the sound was getting stale. This is fucking great.
I’m going to be honest here and say I didn’t really love it. I love this band don’t get me wrong. There’s no denying the talent, they’re incredible! But for me, it’s been the same sound for the last 3-4 albums. I’m getting a little bored. I mean the clean chorus with Jesse was nice. But they’ve even done that before too. Idk, maybe this song will grow on me over time. But as a first listen I find myself checked out
while I agree with you to a degree. look what people say about Architects and Parkway for changing. there is no winning with some people. If you stay the same you get boring, but if you change your sound, you sold out or something. they know what they do well, and they do it.
I loved them back in the days. Haven't heard a song in at least 5 years (maybe more) and literally nothing changed at all. Why bother listening to this instead of Messengers and Constellation?
