I got to see ABR and Unearth at the same show! So many great tours and shows were put together during the mid 2000s through the mid 2010s and I’m glad I got to see some great ones
This song was most likely written by the bassist Dustin as he's playing lead guitar in this song. And rythym guitarist Brent is playing bass. They have done that for a couple other songs as well
I saw them live in August and I can't wait to see them again in March. They're insane live, the stage presence is something you just have to be there for.
Agreed! Loved them since the early 2000’s and finally got to see them a couple years ago. Since then I’ve been catching them any time I can. Really I can’t think of one Metalcore band that brings me as much joy live as they do. They’re just so damn FUN. All the little dancy-dances and mic yo-yo-ing is incredible 🤣
Tell you what. Thank you guys so much for bringing this content to us! You guys have single handedly helped me discover bad omens, sleep token, and Spiritbox, who are now among my favourite bands. All in the last couple of months. Now I get to see all them live soon! I’ve heard of august burns red, but never listened to their music. This is a banger, and has gone straight to my playlist!
Great reaction. I agree with Nathan in how it sounds like something off FIFAP. Some King of Sorrow vibes as well off Phantom Anthem. Stoked for the new album! 🤙
Metal head from York, PA. Ran into JB at a Sheetz (petrol/grub monopoly in the region) at about 430 AM in western Lancaster county. Yes, he was wearing flip flops. I said nothing.
Awesome track🤘🤘🔥🔥 Y'all should check out Hardy's new track "Radio Song Feat. Jeremy McKinnon". It's also co-wrote with Cody from Wage War, and a fun kinda dig at modern radio music.
These first two tracks have been the favorite ABR stuff I've heard in a while, love em! Also ill echo the other comment about the new Unearth, it's really good og Metalcore by the old guard!
You guys need to check out the new video from The Wise Man's Fear called Sea of Fire, It's a tad different but still sticking to their style be close to their best song yet
i’ll be “that guy” and yes they’re all insanely talented, like, no one can touch them, but this sounds like it could belong in any of the last 4 albums. again, no denying the talent and raw sound, but man, i feel like i’ve heard the song before years ago. i guess it’s just me 😂
Abr has consistently been the best metalcore band for over a decade, especially because they always add new layers and elements and progress, yet remain faithful to their roots and what the fans want. They’ve got it figured out. Metalcore gods now, right below Killswitch.
I would say that they do have very similar sounds album to album, but that is a feature, not a bug. Similar to how Breaking Benjamin hasn't really changed that much. I prefer that. If I wanted to be surprised constantly by a band, I'd listen to only Bad Omens or Sleep Token. Its nice to have consistency and its also nice to change. Different bands for different moments.
And yet, you can differentiate most of their songs from each other. I would never get the frost mixed up with back burner, for instance. So they might be similar to how they started, but they never hit copy/paste.
@@woodtroll3279 Exactly, they have their core sound but they always try to innove within it. They are just soooo consistent and they will always be one of my fav band.
@@hithere-haveagreatday7609 Another thing is, there’s so much replay value in every song. I’ve listened to this like 15 times and I always find something that I didn’t hear in the first 14 listens.
ABR always sounds like ABR which is why I like them. Idk why people conflate consistency with pumping out the same sound, if they took a turn for a sound like Darko US people would be like wtf this isn't ABR
I love how the chord is held out in that final breakdown and it just makes the room shake with that low note ringing out 🥰🥰🥰🤯🤯🥰🥰🥰

That ending had to be one of the best outros ABR have ever conjured 🔥🔥
"Your incorrect opinion means nothing to me."
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jake’s vocals are honestly second to none. Like a red wine, keeps getting better with age. So I’m told, anyway.
Matt Greiner (drummer) told the story on his podcast, that he took an elbow to the head from one of the crowd moshers when they filmed this 😂
That logo is really cool 🤘
Can’t wait to hear this at the heartsupport fest! 🔥🔥

These guys are pumping out so much music! And it's bangers as well 🔥

They’re new song is absolutely heavy and I’m gonna have it on repeat all weekend
Damn I definitely get king of sorrow vibes from this song. Love this song can’t wait for the new album

Sick song! Definitely going to be up there with my albums of the year!
i love the Aussie: "ya, nah" saying
Wow. I always love the ABR guitar shred..
Awesome track🤘🤘🔥🔥

I was literally going to comment this because I have to see their reactions lol
You guys are gonna like this one I think. I really like it!
This is an awesome song! Enjoy

Killswitch Engage kind of epic. Nicely done.
A song that sounds as good as Nath's arms look. Banger.
When you say they sound like Unearth, you're saying they sound like old school metalcore.
You guys need to check out the new video from The Wise Man's Fear called Sea of Fire, It's a tad different but still sticking to their style be close to their best song yet
Can we be honest.... They're the best

ABR so damn constant
Really dig Nath's new nails
😂😂😂

Please check out Silver Linings by Oceansides - this breakdown really slaps!
It’s very As I Lay Burning in August, and I’m alright with that.
You should check Unearth's new song
cool motley crue shirt dude

check out the new track by waterparks, real super dark!!
Sometimes Naths arms look like a bag of apples.
Am I the only one who got a very medodic-death-metal influence on this song?
To me that just sounded the same all the way through. No diversity.
In the quiet words of the Virgin Mary, “come again?”
The word is variety. And I'm not sure I agree with you.
