Thanks for posting this. I am new to the Laptop Dj format. I just traded my Denon Dj Prime 4 for an S7 mixer and a pair of used Rane twelve tables. I'm super new to all the Serato and Pioneer style of effects. The more videos on the S7 will help. Danka Schoen.

This is a really amazing mixer! But, I understand this mixer allows you to use some of these effects on vinyl. It would be nice to see a video tutorial on how that works because no one makes videos / tutorials on the vinyl effects
The effects are the same as if you were using serato. The only difference is you may have to hit the auto button to get the bpm set (or tap tempo)
Are you able to go into settings with the S7 mixer, and adjust the cut in points with the cross fader, so that the sound is instantaneous as soon as you move the fader??

is there way to make midi loop work with a sample and a f/x everytime i try it wont engage the f/x plus it keep the clue piont going i just want a sampple from the sample player and a f/x
it's been a year since I had it, but you just have to midi map the controls in serato to it - if you're talking about hardware effects, then i don't think you can.

dude, I did a review on the S11 before the S7 :P. S11 for me, but if you don't really need the screen or the 4 decks, the S7 is way more cost effective. Here's the S11 demo i did: ua-cam.com/video/u-EpaH8PxBM/v-deo.html
Loop midi seem pretty useless unless ur playing a curtain genre of music

Virtual DJ works with any DVS vinyl, the Phase DVS can also emulate any DVS vinyl. just plug the phase into your mixer like any other DVS soundcard. simple.
