I loved it when you said "if you don't need it, don't buy it" ....thank you for being so real
As someone who suffered from acne most of my life, it can be so frustrating. I recently gave up coffee for matcha & I have to say it has been HUGE for my skin & cortisol levels. Just something I wanted to mention because I don’t think people realize how much coffee can effect your hormones & skin.
can we get an updated chat about the oura ring?!! been really debating on getting one!
Yes same! Definitely would love a review
For the heat rash, maybe look into if your body care products have an active ingredient that makes sun exposure not good including perfumes applied directly on the skin
Omfg freaking outttt I need those cute green heels SO ADORABLE
Such a random acne tip, but as a three-time Accutane gal (who luckily had minimal side effects beyond dryness which was manageable with Aquafor) one of the random recommendations that I got was to use a nail brush while washing hands before washing my face (whether in the shower or sink). I did this right before I started accutane and my skin cleared up pretty dramatically just from making that shift!
Would you consider using Retin A prescription for your skin. It’s much easier than accutane. You look beautiful 🌺🌺🌺
I always get a heat rash when I travel to warmer places and I always use hydrocortisone cream to help clear it up and it helps with the itchiness 🤗
Accutane was the best decision I ever made. I did it years ago and now I literally never get pimples, maybe 1 or 2 a year. It was rough in terms of the side effects like the dry skin etc but for me it was short term pain for long term gain. I would do it over and over again.
Accutane saved my skin & i was fortunate enough to have a great experience while taking it. Been like 5-6 years since i finished it and i haven’t had ANY bad breakouts all these years.
I had acl surgery in December. Tell your brother to get a mental health therapist its rough, the recovery is 6-12 months. Also recommend reading Rebound: train your mind to bounce back stronger from sports injuries
Can I just say how much I love your videos!! Brooke is so calming and love!
So, not sure if you've done a mini vlog on this, but I'd love to see what skincare products your mom uses!
2 time accutane girly here and while I would recommend it to get rid of acne it is a HARD drug to be on. You have to follow a very rigid schedule of blood work, testing online, prescription pickup in 7 days etc. The drying out is also very extreme, I had a minimal case of drying out but it aggravated my already existent eczema. I still have side effects like dry eyes and I lost a majority of my eyebrow hair because I rubbed them so much because of the dryness.
And you’re dry all over forever. Your skin will age faster and you’ll still get acne just not cystic.
@@RafaARA093I haven’t had the long term dryness besides my eyes honestly! Maybe because I always have had eczema so I just find it to be normal lol. Also I rarely ever get acne of any kind BUT I did take it twice, two full rounds so that could be why!
Agree with all of this. Also SO much of my hair fell out and 10 years later it still hasn’t come back 🥲 so basically permanent hair loss seems to be a risk as well
@@docp4449I’m so sorry!! I am like the hairiest person ever but my eyebrows just disappeared and it makes n o sense 🤪
Good morning Brooke happy Tuesday morning and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
I’m on accutane right now and it’s soooo worth it. Everyone I know who has done it says it’s changed their lives. I was just done with being on spironolactone indefinitely and constantly waiting for the next breakout… highly recommend and if you don’t tolerate it well you can just stop
Going on Accutane was the best decision of my life lol
I don’t think accutane is for everyone! especially if your acne is more hormonal. my skin was cleared from acne for about a year until it came back, which is when I learned that accutane will not solve hormonal acne. I also have severe eczema and accutane caused the worst eczema flare up of my life for over 6 months! just wanted to share my experience (:
Yeah that’s valid. Doesn’t work for some people, but I have hormonal acne and this was the only permanent solution besides being on spirited forever. Tried everything for 7 years before resorting to accutane as a last choice and am so glad I did! My confidence skyrocketed and it really wasn’t that terrible of a process personally. But totally not for everyone!!!!
Well now that I'm absolutely hooked on your videos and you're my favorite UA-camr you are absolutely beautiful❤
Xxx video
At this stage (older than Brooke) I’d try prescription retinol instead of Accutane for acne.
Hey girlie try the Cortizone 10, intensive healing lotion for Eczema it’s the only thing that’s been helping me with my Eczema and it’s approved by the National Eczema Association. ☺️
Hey, Brooke! Another fun and happy vlog! Love your cozy aesthetic. Sending you much love and appreciation from Long Island. 🌻❤
I was DYING for this upload. I went down a hole and watched like 8 of your vids because i have been behind hahahah i need more BROOKE
Brooke- look @ polymorphous light eruption rash. (Ie sun allergy) you may need ur dermatologist to give you a prescription for it to clear it up.
You remind me of a young version Kate Hudson with dark hair
How much are the Buldak ramen on tiktok shop? I spent over $7 at Walmart today for the same pack 😩
Happy April Brooke & Danielle, love your NYC weekly vlog! ❤❤❤❤❤
Really loved this vlog Brooke, felt so much like just hanging out with you 🥰
Lovely video thanks for sharing 🥰👍
I have acne & dermatitis so I feel your pain. It’s so frustrating when you’re in the midst of a flair up and nothing in your routine has changed **and** your normal “fixes” aren’t helping. I’m sorry you’re struggling too! Thinking of you!
To chime in on the acne conversation: I would advise looking into a tretinoin prescription. It’s just a great medication for not only acne but wrinkles, agjng, overall skin tone. It comes in different strengths so you can increase as you become more tolerant. I’m a nurse practitioner and I personally use it and it’s been great. Struggled with acne my whole life (I’m 36 now). Never wanted to go down the Accutane route, but definitely wish I had started tretinoin in my 20s. Just something to consider or discuss with a healthcare provider if you are interested in pursuing something prescription.
Since you have a rash maybe the healthy glow product from Cymbiotika will help
missed your vlogs! ❤
I’d recommend trying Epiduo Forte before Accutane.
Also a hyrocortisone cream should help your heat rash. You can get 1% OTC or a higher strength through prescription.
I did Accutane twice, and it worked for a while. Been about two years since my second round of it and my cycstic acne has come back… for some people it works better than others!
Heavy on the oura charge!! Mine only stays charged for 3 days now and I’ve had it for 1.5 years
Your vlogs are always my favorite ❤
Try Happier Grocery @ 365 Canal St. very organic or curated items.
Hi B Tysm for the vlogs I appreciate them! Sorry about ur heat rash. I am sensitive to the sun too and I stopped using old detergent and changed to all clear and Woolite my body skin improved. I can’t use anything else now. Hope this helps.❤
Brooke have you tried a prescription retinoid? I use Arazlo which is meant for acne and it’s less drying than tretinoin. It helped clear my acne completely with spironolactone!
Protopic or betaderm ointment are both great prescribed from my dermatologist and those helped with greatly with my heat rash and eczema. So if you could see a dermatologist then this would be great.
❤❤
I’ve found those pimple patches with micro darts to be really effective when I can feel a pimple coming in from deep under my skin.
I remember when my boyfriend (now husband) and I moved in together and not having to pack a weekender bag every single weekend. I was beyond thrilled lol
love the vlog!!
Do you like the Buldak ramen? I'm Korean but I haven't tried it lol
Loving the vlogs!
Yay here is my bday lol April 4
poor sal :(( sending love
Love 💕 ly good ❤
Im inpressed in your videos
❤❤❤❤❤
nice vlog brooke
Brooke I can’t recommend going on accutane enough!! I was like you and had just kind of moderate but persistent and stubborn acne and it completely cleared everything up. I don’t go through good or bad phases anymore and not having to psychoanalyze everything i do to my skin is so freeing.
Slay Brooke
prayers for your brother n happy spring
Love how authentic Brooke is. “Don’t let consumerism win” Slayyy
Awesome
So excited about the upcoming moving vlogs 🫶🏼
Thinking of Sal and sending healing thoughts for his surgery & recovery! ❤️🩹 I’ve torn both my ACLs from soccer injuries and it’s frustrating, but the work you’re willing to put into your physiotherapy after is crucial with the rehab! If he needs it, a scooter or walking stick could be helpful on your Italy trip
