I loved this show !!! The pilot episode was the top rated TV movie of the week in 1986. They should have gave it a longer run. It should be out on DVD too !!!
This is one of my favorite shows of the 1986 season. I liked it when the group went into the 1980s and didn't cope well with the current technology. They had to learn them quite quickly. But, they knew how to shoot really well. Better, than any of the firearms of the current time. They worked together for a common goal. To assist the underdog. Want to be able to get the all 12 episodes, if I can. Brings back happy memories.
This show started the same month I got stationed in Incirlik AB Turkey. I was looking forward to the show. My sister-in-law taped the show and sent it to us. Unfortunately, when I went to view it someone, not to named, taped over it with Barney for the kids. A few years back I found someone who had put it on CDs and I bought it. I like that they left some of the commercials on it. I'm still looking for Hec Ramsey videos.

I've been looking for this show for years but could never remember the name of it and I must of asked fifty people over the years but no-one remembered it. This was my favorite show when I was in first or second grade. One part from an episode that stands out is Tom Behringer's character buried a locket from an old love.

I watched this show EVERY Saturday night! When Mr. Rod Taylor, guest starred on "Walker Texas Ranger" as Alex Cahill's father, I always thought it would've been cool to see Mr. Taylor in one of the "Hayes Cooper" flashback episodes! Done up in the gear he wore in this show. That would've been a ratings grabbing episode!
