For anyone just getting here and in need of context:
Brian Melinowski was the executive director of The Bill & Hillary Clinton National airport in AR. Squeaky clean guy. He was also an avid collector of everything from coins & currency to firearms. As a collector, he often bought, sold and traded these things.
One day without even telling Brian, ATF decided that he needed to file for a $200 tax stamp and when he didn't because they didn't even bother telling him that he somehow crossed the arbitrary line from collector to some kind of retailer in their eyes and needed the gov'ts permitting and permission to do whatever he wanted to with his own stuff, ATF began investigating him. That led to the discovery that he was a pretty regular 55 year old guy who lived with his wife and 2 dogs, worked, etc.
Despite discovering that he's a pillar in his community with no criminal record or history of violence, they showed up to his house 10 cars deep with no bodycams, killed the doorbell cam/power, kicked his door in, and then shot & killed Brian when he thought they were home invaders.
All in about 55 seconds, if my memory is correct.
So, to summarize:
Another cameraless, accountabilityless no knock raid that resulted in another US citizen killed at the hands over an overzealous federal law enforcement agency that shouldn't even exist.
Disband the ATF... Or just start hunting them, at this point.
Frankly: I don't care.
Just so long as all 5,000 or so of them go away like they seem to make anyone who stands for freedom from tyranny go away.
No one goes to jail>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
News just came out. They said the deadly force was justified. Disgusting.
