** Pulitzer Prize awards are handed to the photographer not the camera!
So, truth be told, it's the person holding the camera is the artist creating the photo, NOT THE CAMERA.

*Next, understand the foundation of this channel and photography itself, "the camera does not make a bad photographer a great photographer", a camera of $42 or $4,200. will not create an award-winning shot.
As far as post processing your work, well if you want to get the finest image you can after the shutter clicks, you absolutely must do some post work.
If you ordered a meal at a restaurant, would you like the meal better if the chef tweaked your food to the highest pro chef level? Yes of course.
    ***Why are CCD cameras better?
CCD sensors create high-quality, low-noise images. CMOS sensors are usually more susceptible to noise. Because each photosite on a CMOS sensor has several transistors located next to it, the light sensitivity of a CMOS chip tends to be lower, as many of the photons hit the transistors instead of the photosite

It's not the camera that makes a great photo, it's the photographer that TAKES a great photo.

    3) they must have at least 100 Feedbacks.
    4) the listing must say MINT OR EXC OR WORKING OR TESTED OR LIKE NEW.

Spot on Sir. It's the lens and aperture that is much more important than the camera. However, the most important factors in this art of ours, are time and us behind the lens.
Amen to your explanation of the photographic process. It does not end upon pressing the shutter. Since the begging of photography, picture have always been developed. Now it simply happens electronically.
The only thing I would add, is that I miss experimenting with printing on different papers I think more than choosing film.
    Greetings from Europe.

Your teacher's recommendation to get an EL Nikkor enlarging lens was spot on. At the time it was a top tier optic and a lot less expensive than a Schneider Componon or a Rodenstock Rodagon. Beside havig a good enlarging lens, having the enlarger properly aligned is just as important. You may recall when the
mass circulation photo magazines were around, they would have countless articles comparing enlarging lenses, printing papers, films ad infinitum. Like the
yeast in your bread, your popularity keeps rising! Best to you and yours.

I spotted one of my favorite cameras in the background, the Sears (Ricoh) T.L.S. from 1973ish. I had an earlier version I received Xmas of 1970. My original camera is long gone but I have replaced it many times over including the Zillions of variations. I collect them because of the nostalgia and they are relatively cheap and reliable. More reliable than a Spotmatic in my experience. The 55mm f1.4 is legendary and the availability of M42 lenses is massive. I'm currently shooting one with an adapted Vest Pocket Kodak lens from 1915 and another with an adapted Leitz 90mm 2.5 Colorplan projection lens just last weekend on a photo walk.

Great video Carmine and loved the shout out to Habild’s camera shop in New Dorp. I got all my first darkroom equipment and supplies from Carl there.

How did you introduce your family to photography

Since my children were born, they know dad takes his camera to work. They have to ask about cameras or photography first. I have never forced them to sit and hear me teach. PS all of my children are photographers today.
