WOW!! A very professional restoration...of the highest quality in methods and materials.
I really like the pinch welders, they duplicate factory welds & strength,
and the extra steps taken to seal the bottom against rust.
A very nice video, showing every step to complete, but I would have liked a picture (or test drive) in the finished car.

Complimenti per il sapiente restauro totale della simpatica 2CV. Molto condivisibile anche la scelta di lasciare in sottofondo i rumori di officina che fanno sentire lo spettatore "sul campo". Very professional restoration of this Citroën 2CV! I many years did the same work and found it very enjoyfull and gave me a lot of satisfaction when after a time of a wreck of a car was turned in a real beauty and technical 100% functional car like this car in this video! Keep up the good work!!

Tengo un 2CV original AZAM 1966 18HP DESDE OKM; ERA DE MI ESPOSA FALLECIDA Y NO PIENSO DESPRENDERME DE EL. Ahora en su tercera restauraciòn,La primera en 1981, la segunda en 1995 y la actual, probablemente la ùltima que yo personalmente le haga por mi edad.No me importa si tardo un largo tiempo, es un hobby como otros que tengo todavìa. Siempre estuvo (y està) en garaje cerrado y muy cuidado, aunque cada vez se fue usando menos. He tenido otros Citrôenes, pero este estuvo siempre con nosotros

Y vaya si lo he manejado!! Tiene recorridos 938.000 km reales. Muchos años por todo el país, incluyendo la famosa RN 40 desde Bolivia a Tierra del Fuego. BUE - BARILOCHE infinidad de veces, a la costa por fines de semana. Siempre fiel!!

ils ont en restauré des dizaines. voir les mouffles qu'ils mettent sur le pare choc avant à la fin. c'est du travail à la chaine. c'est que ca se vend cher ces 2cv maintenant...

J'ai déjà restauré trois 2cv de la même façon , une AZL de 1958 ,une AZAM de 1966, et une "FRANCE 3" de 1984.En ce moment, je suis en train de restaurer a neuf une PEUGEOT 504 Coupé V6 de 1980.Les deux prochaines prévue c'est une Dauphine Gordini des derniers modèles 1967,et une RENAULT Caravelle qui est aussi parmi les derniers modèles sortie des chaînes RENAULT en Juin 1968,sachant que la production de cette voiture a pris fin en Juillet 1968.

I think that there are enough parts suppliers to build new 2CVs. I wish they could market them again. Never pass new standards though.

We drove a red 2cv in England. We kept the L (learner) on so that experienced drivers would know what to expend. It was difficult to drive on the "wrong" side of the road but we survived.

No, lee las descripciones, son Tanos, pero nos parecemos mucho a ellos, solo que ellos tienen herramientas más modernas, y repuestos franceses de calidad. Pero la dedicación, y el buen laburo lo tenemos también.

i like to see the bones once engin is out looks easy to roll over and do a body overhuall it looks more like a 4 wheel cycle car which i love a shame im medicly retired from driveing it will have to be a 124 scale car only but it will be added to my colection with pride thank u v much
