    Thanks so much for the review. Shocked by the shoddy quality. I am incredibly happy with my Honda XRM 125. Amazing value, 65 km/litre and made here in the Philippines. Can get fixed anywhere. 6 K trouble free km in 6 months. I will happily keep her.

    Excellent video. I'm a subscriber and saw this video pop up and couldn't wait to watch it. I've always loved the looks of the XSR155. I'm an American new to living in the PH (Bacolod City). I'm not an experienced rider and trying to get my confidence up in riding in the traffic. I ended up getting a decent used Honda XR150L (mainly because of my height of 6ft 3.)
    I'd like to eventually get a good used second bike and this is in my top 5 list.
    I appreciate your honest opinion and all the pros and cons.
    I'm always concerned with my height in find the right size motorcycle and also I noticed the hard to see speed odometer while you were riding it and I am glad you commented on it being so hard to see. Thanks again for the video.

    Freakin' love your channel, man, Keep doing what you're doing!
    What comes to the bike: was kinda considering it, but now it's quality-to-price ratio is questionable, budget Honda's would be much more bang for a buck, I assume.

    Hi, @TheManoy66_! New subscriber here. I own one of these and I love it. I do agree that there are a few rattling parts due to it having a single thumper between the legs but that was easily remedied with a few tiny rubber pads. There was one irritating rattling sound I couldn't find for days and figured it was the throttle assembly (I think that's what you call it) where the two cables come out of the throttle. It is pretty peppy and after a few performance mods, it became even more peppy. I dunno how much faster it can really go since I don't have the testicular fortitude to find out. Hahahahahaha! My question here is... Are you sure the unit you fiddled with has ABS? Mine does not have ABS and I don't think they came out with a version here that came with ABS as standard. I could be wrong, though.

    My unit also has 15k in odo. Wala naman ako naging major problem. Maintenance ko lang so far ay replacement ng brake pads, oil filter, air filter, and tires. Tapos regular change of engine oil.

    thank you for the valuable information sir! I didn't expect that from a "reliable" brand like Yamaha. Quite disappointing, I feel better now that I opted to buy the Honda TMX 125 instead and a bit of customization to make it to a scrambler with a cheaper cost of 83k compared to the XSR155's price tag of like 180k +

    • @free2roam674
      @free2roam674 Місяць тому +1

      I agree with you. I bought the top model XRM 125 with dual disc brakes in November in Dumaguete and it was only 76 K. The base model was 73 K. Perhaps you are including the customization costs in your price. I absolutely love my XRM. I am Canadian and I was very proud to own a bike made here in the Philippines. I just bought a rack and large Shad case with backrest for 8 K. I already have 6 K km on my Little Rock star.

      @@tulsdesjules In Canada for years I rode around 30K km/year, mostly on a BMW R1200RT, rocket ship. Brilliant bike for Western Canadian riding with huge distances, remote and twisty roads. Here the XRM is great. If I was touring 2 up I would get something 150-160 cc.

    honestly, it's unfair to review a banged-up motorcycle without unknown owner input. We just keep guessing what happened. But to guess the rust inside the tank, there's a possibility that he left the lid not fully closed or he let the gasoline boy close the lid which mostly don't know how to fully close it. Then he left it outside even in the rain. It's a reckless and careless owner, I'm also new to motorcycling after owning cars. My Nmax tank lid was left not fully closed by the Petron gasoline boy, thankfully I checked it before I left the station. He lacks basic maintenance skills more on basic care on his bike. It's hard to trust a review if the reviewer just borrowed the motorcycle which is so damaged in the first place.
