    Returning to some deck profiles, a lot of players are exploring Magnamon X and how to beat other decks like Numemon. But what about meme tier decks? This deck has had a lot of fun testing results along with effects and interactions I thought I never thought I would find. Let me know your thoughts on this one because this one is definitely meme worthy.

    I played aegiseadramon for a while and I may need to give this deck a try. I really enjoyed spitting out boddies with seadramon, but it lacked in interaction, which this deck seems to make up for

      @DIGI-PANDA  4 місяці тому

      It won't be meta breaking by any means, but finding fun interactions is definitely really fun in my mind.

    This is one of those decks that seems just a little too complicated for me, but I always want to play it just because JumboGamemon himself is SO COOL. I love that gigantic tank turtle, he rules! And his effect is so unique and opens up so many weird interactions that I can barely keep in my head. I'm always interested in learning more about this deck and seeing other builds.

    • @DIGI-PANDA
      @DIGI-PANDA  4 місяці тому +1

      Honestly it feels more complicated for your opponent ha ha. They don't know whether attacking will be bad or not

  • @tntkaboomsky7427

    crazy enough I think JumboGamma Aggro seems feasible now that you have at least 2 options for Jamming Inheritable with the Betamon from BT15 and Biyomon from EX6. while the prospect is risky of losing the stack due to an unexpected Ace or blocker So long as you can get enough bodies on board with all the effects the Xiangpengmon can provide, I think having a Go button for this deck can really make it do wonders with the Rush Seadramon from BT15

    • @DIGI-PANDA
      @DIGI-PANDA  3 місяці тому

      Yes and no. The only problem with JumboGammamon in an aggro based deck is that your opponent needs to attack. If they have ways to remove Jumbo it makes it much harder. Now Metalgarurumon? That's an interesting one.

    If you're moving away from having more Tamers then maybe BT1 Upamon or BT10 Bebydomon?

    • @DIGI-PANDA
      @DIGI-PANDA  3 місяці тому

      The issue with BT1 Upamon was it's dependent on my opponent having a Digimon in play without sources. It's not like modern effects that look for no Digimon with digivolution sources, meaning an empty board is also valid.

    How does chaosmon play out any lvl6 if the parition requirements are not met?

    • @DIGI-PANDA
      @DIGI-PANDA  3 місяці тому

      That's the trick with the deck!
      Option 1: Your opponent attacks, you pull out a level 5 and simultaneously blast digivolve into Azulongmon ACE. Fulfilling 2 Digimon that are yellow and black for the DNA on your turn.
      Option 2: Your opponent attacks, you pull out Megaseadramon with Jumbogamemon's effect, then tuck Jumbogamemon to bottomdeck a level 6 and simultaneously blast evo into Azulongmon ACE, then hard evo into Chaosmon the following turn.
      It's extremely gimmicky but it's hilarious.

    How about including 2 to 3 copies of Laplace Demon in the deck?
    That way you make sure to at least trigger JumboGamemon before opponents have a chance to remove it.

    • @DIGI-PANDA
      @DIGI-PANDA  4 місяці тому +1

      One issue with this is that your only way to get a black source is Jumbogamemon itself. In the black base variant I'm looking at, I'm toying with the idea of Laplace Demon or if I'm going to use another certain Digimon to fulfill that requirement...

    • @AlbertZer0
      @AlbertZer0 4 місяці тому +1

      @@DIGI-PANDA Well, isn't having Jumbogamemon on board the optimal scenario for using Laplace Demon anyway? I might try a similar list to yours but with some Laplace Demons.
      I'm interested in the black version you're cooking on tho

    • @DIGI-PANDA
      @DIGI-PANDA  4 місяці тому

      @@AlbertZer0 Correct. The only downside is you're assuming it sticks around on the board long enough. Since Laplace doesn't have a security effect that actually does anything other then add to hand, it's another card I'm on the fence on.

    Love the deck, I'm really excited to try it out, and see how EX6 can add things too.
    There were a few misleading statements in the video though.
    First, you mention Zudo Ace doesn't leave the battle area when being tucked under with WaruSeadramon. While it's true that Overflow doesn't process, it is still leaving the battle area, for other things that might care about that, and I've seen a lot of confusion about that locally too.
    Additionally, you mention that Chaosmon's Partition triggers when it's "removed from the battle area by card effect, except De-Digivolve". I realize this is probably just trying to fit Partition neatly in the script, but it misses somethings like having it's DP reduced to 0, and implies that De-Digivolving is removing the Digimon from the battle area, which it isn't.
    Ultimately some pretty minor nit-picks, but just some things to look out for in the future.

    • @DIGI-PANDA
      @DIGI-PANDA  4 місяці тому

      My apologies. One of the big things I wanted to stress was that when Zudomon ACE is tucked, the overflow will not occur.
      As for Chaosmon's partition - de-digivolve is the only effect that would prevent partition from going off. DP reduction to 0 is deleting a Digimon by game mechanic so partition does trigger here.

    I had a fun version of Jumbo Control that revolved around stealing turns with EX2 Leomon, since you could play it out from sources and then block with it.

    • @DIGI-PANDA
      @DIGI-PANDA  4 місяці тому

      This is where the original deck concept was actually! And why I had extra blue tamers with Jeri. With the current meta though, I did feel Gesomon was necessary to bounce back Digimon since you can even strip enough sources to bounce your opponent's level 5 or lower Digimon before they can bounce. This is helpful in the Numemon match up before they go into Valkyrimon ACE. But in the end, I decided Coredramon into Zudomon ACE was really funny!

  • @hugemclargetall
    @hugemclargetall 4 місяці тому +2

    People need to play non-meta more often at the local level, especially people with zero intention of doing large events(like me). I see some local groups being 90% whatever top 4s in recent events and never do online or in person events. I have even stolen first place against some strong meta decks in previous set formats, from goofing around with decks like the one in this video.
    Stick to whatever tops if that is fun for you, but pick 1 week a month at least to play jank, or neglected cards. I alternate every week.

    • @DIGI-PANDA
      @DIGI-PANDA  4 місяці тому

      People will ultimately play what they want to play. I can understand why there's going to be a huge representation of Numemon and at this point players will have to craft around both this and Magnamon X
