Ok hi!! I’m going to Bentley in the fall and my jaw literally dropped when you talked about fashion and media but also wanting to make a difference in the world because I have been saying the exact same thing! It’s so nice to hear someone with the same creative mindset in Bentley because I feel like it sounds like a very money mindset school. I hope I get to meet you when I settle in and talk to you more cause we have so much in common! :)
loved the advice of you do you! I too would much rather wake up and love my job and make not so much money than making billions but not happy at all. solid video!!
would a semester exchange student be able to still befriend etc in Bentley? Do y’all have school games we can experience.? (I’m not from USA) and I’m a freshman right now taking an English Lit Major, so I’d love to preplan! Thank you for this sharing!
Do kids have to join some or the other sorority?? My daughter is an admitted student in Bentley but she has not made her mind yet! She is debating between UMass Amherst and Bentley.
So I’m still not sure but I’m leaning more towards creative industries. We have until second semester sophomore year to declare our major so you have time. From my understanding creative industries and marketing are similar but creative industries is more geared toward creative careers like filmmaking, gaming, graphic design or whatever field ur interest in so it’s more hands on where as marketing is more analyzing data and trends and numbers. I’m not 100% sure but that’s what it seemed like after talking to some professors
My sister applied to Bentley would you recommend it she got into all 13 colleges she applied to she‘a choosing between Bentley, Vanderbilt, Lafayette, University Of Washington, Providence, Tulane, Binghamton, Northeastern, Dartmouth, Villanova, Barnard, UMich, and BC
So I personally love Bentley and would recommend it, but I know everyone is looking for different things when choosing a college so it really depends on what she is looking for.
@@Patmckeown585 so bentley is great for business but there is still so many other things to consider like if she wants a big campus vs a smaller school or in a city vs near one, Greek life and sports teams. Since college is such an experience she should make sure she chooses somewhere with an environment that she likes
Freshman are the first to move in and it looks like around September 2nd because I looked on the Bentley calendar and that is when convocation is this fall which is the day I moved in when I was a freshman.
There should be a Facebook group for ur incoming class which u can join and start reaching out to people. Eventually bentley will send u a link through your school email where u will put in ur roommates name and info to make it official. You can also go random.
@@TheRealMinuteMarket how often you go is totally up to you. It’s really easy to go we have a free shuttle that takes you to Harvard square and then you can take the T in. I personally only go every so often because there is so much going on on-campus
@@alexisbrinkman3907 it's so hard because I loved Boston but the campus wasn't my favorite except the student center and trading room what would you say is the most important thing for college choice
@@TheRealMinuteMarket I mean it’s hard because that can vary per person but I think the most important parts in making your college decision would be a school that you feel is going to set you up for success academically (so offering a major/classes that excite you and a faculty that really cares about their students) but also from a social aspect a school that you think you will fit in with and have fun and enjoy the size and location of the school
