@@WaterZer0I feel like valve wouldn't pursue something like that. Say what you will buy they seem pretty pro community fair use. Especially for just a video title, I don't think they'd care. If anything it might make someone buy l4d 2 on their PC lol
I find it more funny that rtyyyyb was one of the most outspoken about kan's decision to put in so many cats and then they placed podium and suddenly they were ending with, "a 34 doabler."
they did kind of mention it. Apparently moonbo is on a sidequest, not entirely sure when he will be back. But from what I understand, he does plan to return.
Choices have consequences theme, similar to your jump delete track but you can pick an easy route but it forces you through slowsters or you take a harder route but it can be done quicker. But if you take too many hard routes it changes the end and forces you to kill block with a message you worked too hard and you died young
Here's an idea, a track that is half on land, half 'underwater', and the 'underwater' bit being tubes going under the map to a blue/water like area, and the land part being like a destroyed zone. Maybe a City falling into the ocean, or Atlantis, or maybe a river and each underwater/tube part is going through the river section. Go wild. I just know I haven't seen long tubes used in a while, and got the idea. Another idea using tubes, would be space theme, instead of water, and having a destroyed ship and the tubes are the broken parts of the ship as you jump, ride, and move through debris of the destroyed ship.
Ahura Mazda is indeed a creator deity and god of the sky in the ancient Iranian religion of Zoroastrianism. He's also called Horomazes, but that's not a car company.
No earthly clue how you’d actually implement this, but a track where everyone has to work together in chat in order for anyone to finish it? Maybe some kind of puzzle thing, or a massive maze with an observation platform above where people can guide others driving through it?
You also made a track where there is a black line in the middle, and people compete to build automatic vehicles to follow the black line into the finish as fast as possible, btw.
Track idea: a 3 minute super fast track. You're constantly going near top speed making difficult turns with split second decisions. Just so many directions to go. Maybe you can find a short cut to get it down to 2 minutes, but you're not going much further below
make a track with one hidden shortcut that puts you onto a "no button press" track, or has a hidden goal, but in order to unlock it you have to take a very specific course through a fairly open, non specific track. like, you have to go through certain checkpoints in a certain order to unlock it, but the order is not needed to complete the track, it just gives you, like, half the track time off
What if you made a filthy casual track but it has a secret hard track. And you insist there's only a few LIGHT shortcuts, but then there's this secret path that's super hard
Here's a track idea for you, kAN: A track that's a trail through a campground. You drive by some cabins, some tents, bust through the breakfast hall, jump over the lake, go over a swinging rope bridge-- that last bit is really the most interesting idea. Some sort of moving bridge, but if it just looks like a rope bridge with gaps, that's fine. Maybe it's narrow too. Maybe the track is non-linear with a ton of branching paths, with a few hidden check points to find before getting back to the finish line. Could be fun
I'm imagining this track idea where you're running around the downtown of a city, surrounded by skyscrapers and construction. You drive up and down various bridges, and sometimes into buildings for shortcuts.
A falling track? Not like falling in a hole full of obstacles, but a segment where the track just suddenly drops. No prior acceleration and no lip to gain any air. Kind of like a blind jump? Maybe get creative and have an unfinishable wallride/ceilingride section so that players would eventually fall, and the fall is actually part of the proper route.
I've got an idea similar to this I'd love to see done as a theme where the track is downhill only with no increase in elevation ever. Decrease in elevation is ok.
can you scale the spiked haybales? or other trap pieces? another thing might be a perpetual motiontrack? using the ligicblocks to kinda create a seesaw with a ball or something like it, that completly changes the map? maybe a shifting maze? or use spawners with tubes set up like plinko, that shoot the things they spawn into different logicgates, so each run is a bit different. like set up 3 or 4 of those and see how it goes.
here is an exsample i came up with: Flying fight. set the spawner up so they duop their things into a logicgate that spawns a red ball (explosion in the air) and then fall further into one that despawns it. make it a bunch of time in a flying map and set a deathboundry while everyone has to fly some loops around a custom battlefield.
i’ve got a track idea, make a track that requires lots of braking but the arms up and break controls constantly switch while driving through the changer gates or even better, you could make a hidden logic gate that turns the changer’s invisible
Tested - Disproven. At least in my testing, the trajectory of the corpse-launch is too high. It's a slow arc that skips only a couple of bumps, so it takes longer.
How about a bunch different paths and depending on which way you go it open or close other paths basically creating a unique possible routes for every path you take.
same concept as this, but its a forest, only one track, you cant see it, gotta navigate the right path or you die, i would make it into a haunted forest, no checkpoints
It would be sick to see a track where there's an obvious asphalt track and dirt or grass offroad. But driving on the offroad is quicker. Not like corner cutting. But following the road layout just slightly off the road itself.
Day 6of asking kan. For MM you guys should each make sections of a hide and seek map, then play on it. Each of you will know where the hiding spots are in the areas that you’ve built
Idea: 3...2...1...Take off! - 3 seconds after start players get onto a booster that will carry boost them for the entirety of the level, might be space themed.
Can you set directional boosters in a way they dont have an effect? So you can make a secret route with a omni booster below it. but it looks like a directional one
A map which takes advantage of unity randomness to redirect the player onto one of several tracks, which each lead to a different map. So the player has to try a different map every run.
9:35 Although the founder of the Mazda company declared that it was named for the creator god of Persian Zoroastrianism "Ahura-Mazda", the fact that his family name was Matsuda leads a lot of people to conclude that he just named the company after himself with a tiny twist.
How about a track with boosters instead of checkpoints. If you miss a booster, you won't make it to the end, but when you hit them all, it's like a full speed track.
dearest kan, i am here as to inquire about your recent activities in experimental tracking but i as to wonder why such useseg of feline mamals is in surplus usage?
Have branching paths or shortcuts periodically, but some of the paths or shortcuts kill you or take longer than going the other way. Or maybe only one of the paths has a checkpoint if you're feeling extra evil. Maybe flip a coin to decide if a path is good or bad.
You should do a track called Fork in the Road. It would have a series of forks in the road that also recombine at some point before the finish. Each route would have different times.

Yay! Dapper is back! Now where in the world is Moonbo?!
Would be nice if someone acknowledged it, or at least gave a brief explanation
Vaguely remember a comment on a different video saying something about him going off and learning animation, which could be interesting.

He's in kAN's basement editing videos in exchange for a daily potato
Moonbo lost fun doing UA-cam stuff. But he is alive.
