I feel like Ashley's goal with Fearne is to make her the type of gal who when they're old is like "I made some questionable decisions back in the day, but you can't say my life wasn't interesting!"
@@YawnBlue Wouldn’t surprise me! I know on a Four Sided Dive that she mentioned Nana Mori took some inspiration from her IRL grandmother, so Fearne being based on her mother wouldn’t be surprising
She doesn’t need to pick another class if she goes forward with the deal. That was Liam’s choice when he made Vax a paladin and then later a level in druid.
I certainly hope not. People really need to learn that roleplay and mechanics don't need to get THAT involved. People were already surprisingly Marisha didn't level in warlock after Delilah's 'return' even if it made no sense for her build to do so.
@@moonlight2870 I will say leveling and using powers based on your character IS viable, especially when you are playing a roleplay heavy campaign like these guys are. Remember when they all fought to keep Percy from making that pact in hell? Here they are full on encouraging it 😂 Bells Hells is chaos and these players are changed 😮
I can imagine a world where Fearne's chaotic nature, backed by a pact from a demon, could bring about the end times. Never underestimate a charismatic chaotic character.
Mental image: fearne takes teven to the feywild with asmodeus watching in growing worry as they meet mori and mori has asmodeus come into her home so they can hash things out especially if fearne’s soul was already her’s
For everyone complaining about spoilers, I'm on episode 56 where they are still separated, and i still clicked on this because it was MY CHOICE. The title gives nothing away if you don't watch the clip.
Love doing this shit in D&D. The best class to do this with is a warlock-- a lot of potential pact-makers think twice about pacts when they learn that a Cthulhu entity is your sugar mommy.
As much of a Chaotic move as that was; devils are are aligned to Lawful ideals. But Fearne has always leaned towards Chaotic way of things. IDK if Ashely is aware of this information. Still you got to Love how silly/cute Ashely is. 😂
Depends on how you play chaos. If you're playing chaos as "I respect freedom and reject tyranny", then yes, chaos and law are utterly incompatible. If you're playing chaos as "I'm impetuous and seek new experiences or maybe I'm willing to gain power by any means necessary and I don't much care how I get there" then chaos would be okay cutting deals with lawful powers, even though law will be looking to crush that chaotic nature at the earliest opportunity. Objectively you are correct, chaos should not be getting along with law like this. But devils that tempt souls aren't just looking for souls that are already in ideological lockstep. They relish the game of seducing all alignments, but especially bringing down the chaotic and the good. The devils would take the completion of such seduction as proof of their ideological superiority -- "we're so right, we can convince people from the opposite corner to join us. What hope do _you_ have?" And I would interpret that a soul of a hero who willingly converts and performs powerful deeds for the new patron, will be more valuable than a soul of a NPC raised under that patron his/her whole life but does nothing special beyond private devotion.
@@SquirrellyOtter If you think about it, the inverse is true as well. A lawful character who's all about "Law and order save us from ourselves and is all that matters," then they would have nothing to do with someone who deceives and breaks the rules. But if you're playing a character who's like "I believe in holding true to my word and being honest with those around me," then that type of Lawful would not necessarily be opposed to working with a chaotic type. And doubly so for a devil, for whom "any ends justifies tyranny" is very much a thing.
@stonerguru4246 Honestly, I think Fearne just wants to have a bit of fun and is letting her thirst let her make a "bad decision." And since Fearne's modus operandi is "Life's not interesting if you don't push boundaries," I think the idea of flirting with a devil is even more appealing! XD
@SquirrellyOtter Actually Devils aren't interested in people who are in lockstep. A Lawful Evil soul isn't worth its weight in shit as far as the Hells are concerned. What's the worth of dealing for a soul that's going to Baator either way? Neutral souls are good, but a Good-aligned souls are priceless.
I feel like they were givin a theme when they were making their characters. Basically 'characters on the edge' like, most of them could very easily be evil. Fern and her chaotic nature, laudna and her inner darkness, fresh cut being maybe a murderbot, imogen and her vains and the moon stuff, chetney and his inner wolf. Ashton and liams characters are the only two im not positive on.
Ashton I feel like is on the edge in the sense that they're looking for an establishment to tear down. But at the same time his theme is less "teetering on the edge" and more "standing at the crossroads of infinite possibility." Orym meanwhile is the only one for the longest time that wasn't teetering and I think that's why I always got the vibe that he should've been team leader
Dani Carrs CritRecap of this was so good it had me wheezing and watching the clip did not disappoint in any way. "In the interest of getting supremely laid Fearne made a pact with the devil"
