At first I thought it was a shame that they got divorced, I always felt like this couple was underrated. Then I saw how funny their interactions are now 😂 honestly them both going "I didnt realize we got divorced three times" was so funny to me I love it
@@grantlauzon5237 He actually is canon, we just haven't seen him yet. He is one of the Andrews that Mathilda was in school with, before she got Laudna'ed.
So some have complained that they are acting older. Allow me to explain a fun fact. While they are both gnomes they are not the same gnomes. I believe forest gnomes (scanlan) live longer. Also keep in mind pike hasn’t been doing a lot of fighting or probably wearing plate mail in 30 years so even if she isn’t an older gnomes she is still probably sore and not used to the weight and pressure of said armor and moving through long distances and battles as she was in campaign 1 when she was either constantly in armor fighting or rebuilding a temple mostly by hand. Same for scanlan and the rest. It’s not so much that they are older as they arnt used to the questing they are doing now as compared to what they did for years in campaign and before hand.
@@DergonBaals first that’s a lot of talk for a game that is as variable as dnd. I have played for quite a while and watched several fantastic dungeon masters such as Matt show that different subspecies live differently and have different life spans. Which makes sense. Not a hard leap of sense there. Add to it that pike has been mostly a baker for 30 years on top of a stationary person as opposed to a walking war cleric who was constantly in armor and it is not just likely she and everyone else is rusty on the adventuring front but also on the activity front. She went from cooking and praying to once again marching and wearing her plate. The concept that she can go from not fighting for 30 years to immediately flipping a switch and going back to it is idiotic. It’s in the same vein of every dad who claims he can play football now just as well as he could without any soreness as he could in high school even though he hasn’t played in years. She did make a choice and it’s one that makes sense. Maybe stop pigeonholing her into the claim she is playing her character too old and instead consider pike hasn’t went adventuring in 30 years and probably hasn’t had a battle or worn armor in just as long. I’d be sore and tired too if I was her no matter the age
Out of the 3 campaigns and all of the characters, I love that these recent episodes have acted as a reminder of how strong the friendship between Grog and Pike is. That their relationship is solely being Best Bros, and nothing else. More so given all that Ashley Johnson has gone through. There will be a FCG Fanboy that wonders how a character like Grog would have reacted, after his time with Doty.
What has she gone through? All the shit with her ex was a lie and proven so in court lol. Its literally all public record at this point, and she even had to pay him compensation for trying to defame him with false allegations.
Yeah honestly it felt out of place after they built up the romance and scanlan's whole arc of growing as a person and then they get divorced in the end it felt just odd. A lot of scanlan's character development feels like it didn't stick 😂
So random person finding this, only vaguely aware of what’s happening, but still curious. Anyone care to give me the 60 second on the three different campaigns all converging?
Big world threatening baddies. The party from C3 were gathering powerful allies to help them fight it and some of the most powerful people in the world just so happen to be the parties from C1 and C2. Some people from Mighty Nein (C2) were already investigating what was going on and one of the characters from Bells Hells (C3) had ties to Vox Machina (C1) so that's kinda how the parties were able to meet up
6:27 Well, this was a bit of a spoiler, as I only watch the animated series. But...Pike still praying to the Everlight? Thought she sort of stopped, in this latest season of the anime. Meh. Can't shake the faith, huh.
The show is different from the actual campaign in some aspects and plotpoints and little moments, don't take a "spoiler" from the campaign for granted in the show and vice versa And also If you don't want to be spoiled, don't watch clips from their latest im the timeline silly boob.
She didn't really have a crisis of faith at the table like she does in the animation. That's basically unique to the animation alone. Pike is quite solid in her faith throughout the game itself.
“I hate it when mommy and daddy fight…” - Grog, probably.
It's funny pikes playing old when Gnomes live four times as long as her age
I feel like apart for Keyleth plus maybe Percy & Grog, they all don't know the different races/species age lol
it's especially funny since scanlan is almost 40 years older than her xD
Pike prefers the hands-on approach, so I think when she means old she means her body is weary and strained.
@@blazypika2 Well manual labor tends to age your body, so they're almost the same body-age-wise
All of them don’t seem to know how old their characters actually are.

Travis face as Grog waking up 🤣
Whitestone Andy is truly an interesting Character
The true emotional BBEG across all campaigns.
I hope he becomes a canon. Maybe as the person who made the infamous chair.

Think I would have lost my shit if Grog started mumbling obscenities in his sleep.

Im still waiting for these two to get back together ❤ pikelan forever 😊
wait hang on wait what, I'm behind on episodes, Scanlan is a centaur?
He had true polymorph so anything is possible now
it was his midlife crisis- turn himself into a centaur and road trip around the world
