What would happen if you mix glow fluid and clay? will it become glowing clay?
Probably but it might stain your hands when you mould it and it would probably lose its glow when it dries
OMG everyone like this!
It might not glow by itself anymore but that would probably make the dry clay pieces glow under black light, which would be awesome!
Yes it will glow
Use glow-in-the-dark acrylic paint instead
Legend has it that he was born with black latex gloves on
I know he never takes them off
B Black lol
B Black
😂😂
Proxy Studios Games well actually he did when making something with black lego... but... he never showed his hands again.... from what i heard...
but maybe he has prosthetic hands
That clay can be very useful. Once hardened, if it gets wet will it turn to mush?
No
Probably not but it might crumble, if you try to need it
Propably would soak the water like a sponge
@@samirnahas3592 it's"knead". Not trying to be obnoxious, just wanted to let you know it's spelled differently than need
i have air dry clay at home and it DOES turn to mush but not the homemade kind show here mine is paper based
Can you boil hot glue gun sticks and pour them into molds to make sculptures
Mark Roman no
Mark Roman it would start on fire your best bet is either silicone caulking or just use your hot glue gun
?
genius
Don't boil it, it could and probably would catch on fire. If you're looking for something easy to shape try sculpy dough. It doesn't dry out, and once you bake it in the oven it becomes very durable and can be sanded and painted, plus I think it's water proof. It's at least water resistant
we used this recepie for our school project, but we failed. *that drip on the shirt though😂*
you missed that drop i guess!
ShawnOrillosa are you fine tho?
It works better if you add cream of tartar, salt, and a touch of cooking oil
Deniz Wilson sounds like cooking XD
Hard to not notice! 😂
Drip, Drop.Corn starch on my top
Stonks
Lol
Underrated
That was a bit corny HAHA
How about making a mini kiln to a bake clay projects? Can you make some jigs to measure how much force is required to break or snap materials like this?
WHEN THEY ASK HOW YOU ARE AND YOU SAY YOU ARE FINE BUT YOU ARE NOT FINE 😑
ikr
What if he didn't spill the "clay"
🤣🤣
I read this as it was happening
*when they ask you how you are and you just have to say that you’re fine, even though you’re not really fine.*
emelie wu and they just wouldn’t understand
;-;
I ask them if they want me to lie; and usually don't have to
Wood does the same cracking/warping if you let fresh lumber slowly air dry, so they kiln dry it to prevent this. Maybe you could dry throwing these clay models in the oven at the lowest temp and see if that helps them dry faster, without cracking?
I sent this video to my mom, who is an elementary school teacher. I love how you not only give clear instructions but also creative ideas on how to use the clay and tests. This is a fantastic video. Thank you!
It would be cool to see a project combining the Proto-Putty and this Clay!
ThatOneGuy Yes -`д´-
They really wouldn't work well together, considering protoputty cures into a flexible silicone rubber, where as this cures similarly to the consistency of a brick. I doubt they would even be able to be mixed or bound together properly
@@GsusIsKing did you find out? My TechGPT bot said small quantities work ok. Just looking for a video now.
Who just watches these videos but don't even attempt to try it? :)

GENIUSSSSS! I love this video. It shows something easy to make, and everyone has the ingredients.
This is one of your better video
Who else Appreciates the tiny animated vid that comes with the instructions
Could you guys try cooking different foods in the foundry?
Thank you for this video. I was ever so curious if this particular air-dry clay could handle molds. Thank you for doing this now I can feel comfortable trying it out.
1:11 *RIP SHIRT XD*
Can u use the clay to make a mold for metal or resin casting?
LightningGameplay yeah I'm curious also
No you cant
I LOVE TKOR!!! 👍❤️
This is also great to use cookie cutters with. I did this for my daughter's head start Christmas project. I cut them out and let then dry then they got to paint then for Christmas ornaments! They loved it!!!!!
Your video was so informative, and you're also really funny! :) The "butter" on the "potatoes" was hilarious!
I love clay thanks for the video.
Ikr I do too
You are a Pokemon fan right?
Very cool. That would make a cheap plaster for walls.
JOHN W Huh. Not sure I'd want a room to smell like cornstarch, but it seems like it could work.
Very small projects
JOHN W Actually they already do use starch for making drywall I believe (starch is one of the few materials that sticks well both to plaster and paper, moreover its water solubility on low temperatures is low).
would it actually be cheaper than plaster?
Muhammad Saleh Cheaper than plaster of Paris? Not where I come from, that's for sure. Plaster is dirt cheap here, cheaper than the same amount of starch. Moreover with plaster of Paris the only thing you need to "activate" it is water whereas with starch you also need heat. Oh and cornstarch shrinks (and "sweats") a LOT as it's losing its water content too. All in all I wouldn't recommend substituting starch for plaster of Paris.
Can u make glow fluid and clay or glow fluid and proto-puddy!
What will it become then?
Caitlin Anderson I just want him to use this idea!
Need the 25bucks man!
Yes thanks for the DIY
Make helium infused water. I know it been done but I want the king to do it.
5:59 the way he said it 😂
He is so cute 😻
you should make a lot of proto putty lego bloks
This stuff seems stronger than my store bought air-dry clay. I’ve GOT to make a TON of this
the king of clay :)
TKOC
:)
Hahahaha
If you mix the clay with glowstick liquid would it glow.
edit. A glowing clay star would be cool.
Alexandru Vasiliu only temporarily
Or there is this glow in the dark paint which recharges in the sun.
what if we replace the water with tonic water?
Glowstick liquid is toxic. Be careful on skin and it’s better to just use glow in the dark paint
JudyTheAlien nah. Most children's glow sticks are nontoxic, for reasons.
Awesome idea definitely try to make it at home👍
what happens when you try to fire the baking sods and cornstarch clay? can you also use it on a pottery wheel?
See if you can use the clay as a mold for casting aluminum
i'm Dustin ask me about my church - what church do you attend
i'm Dustin ask me about my church = what church do u guy to, lol what a name
I like the new animations.
Gurosama Bltch that pic tho
If you keep it in an air dry bag like a zip lock with all the air removed, does it still dry? or is it at least delayed? also does water dissolve it once it has fully dried, I would image not.
That's awesome thanks guys
When you wanna be Deidara.
Gurosama Bltch man that profile pic is from a hentai right?
Lizard Life5 No potato chips man, if you want the hentai just take a screencap of the pfp and pass it through tineye

Wait i've seen you before(backyard scientist)
Big things happen everyday, and you need some help along the way. That’s why nationwide is on your side.
Great ways to UNLEEASHHHH the power of cornstarch
Kinda Looks Appetizing
How fast will it cure/ dry out if you put it in the vacuum chamber?
So, a general recipe:
2 parts cornstarch
3 parts water
4 parts baking soda
Stir it until it becomes smooth. Let it heat for about 4 minutes for every cup of baking soda. Keep stirring it while it’s heating, and once it becomes the consistency of mashed potatoes, put it on a plate covered with tinfoil to cool off. While it’s doing that, cover it with a wet paper towel. After a while it should be ready to sculpt. If you don’t want it to dry out, keep it wet.
It keeps getting better.
I'm going to try it
Is there a way to make it heat resistant and use it in a forge?
LightningGameplay there's a reason why it's called air dry clay. Its ceramic clay you're talking about, that's the clay that meant to be fired.
Ceramics are usually made with natural clay. This clay won’t work, though.
Maybe mixing some white dirt/clay into the mix.
I think it burns...
LightningGameplay No, there's not.
Mix this with vinegar
Jonah F. What does that do?
The little meme in that part where a little bit gets on your shirt is funny
I like how you *motioned* you were going to hit it with a layer of spray paint 😃.
Montioned?
Could you try making fire bricks?
That would allow you to make custom foundries and forges.
🔥 *: )*

So He could forge a sword.
These intros are pretty great
Kyle VanDyne ik right
i love these guys
Lol the ask if your fine thing always makes me laugh 😂
I love how he has to try everything that may be kind of edible XD I can imagine he is like "Hey, this is probably gross..... lets eat it!"
Will this work with other bicarbonates or other sodium salts
Or what will happen if you put hot water
I tried it with sodium azide and it works. But for some reason I feel really sick, it must be flu or something.
Andres Ramirez the reaction would take place before the mixture is fully mixed (evenly mixed) and you would end up with little pouches of corn starch and Na bicarbonate (Baking soda) that wouldn't react in your clay. (Dust in your clay making it weak)
Will this work with baking soda
I tried it and it really worked
I might try this...
You should try putting flavor into it
Who else is bere the day after grant's passing, binge watching all the vids?
Me
Me...
I might try it for making Cosplay items...
Try glass blowing that would be super cool
try to hydro dip dry ice
Colton Swindle the gas coming off of it will keep any paint from sticking to the dry ice
Try flowing high voltage electricity trough motor oil and brake fluid
I love how he makes an egg and calls it mash potatoes and butter, awesome video😆
Could you mix Clay, Silicone or some other sculptable/castable material to make it glow? It would be nice to have some nice glowing self-made lamps or similar!
What would happen if you put it in a foundry? Would it melt?
Alexandru Vasiliu Carbon, the main component in this, doesn’t melt, it burns.
ehehehhwhehehe the meme
*and ur not really fine*
Lilac Petals At first I saw the drop of white liquid without the editing and i was like
Ooooooh hoooooooh its gonna be that kind of video
Lol
Yes
I havent watched the video yet and I know it's going to be top notch I'm so exited
Awesome!!
Can you make an oil-based clay using the same recipe? Can you use it to hold liquid?
Yess
Pigmaster214 YOU 1 MINUTA AGO
you should use that to make shoes
Robert Norris i think it burns and decomposes organically...
Robert Norris Shoes have to be made from a flexible material, which this certainly isn't.
Robert Norris if it stayed together imagine walking I hard shoes made of something like wood.
love you guys
That is cool I will make some.
how can it resist heat?
Corn starch burns only when spread out
“It’s harder than a cookie”
What if you try adding a glow in the dark powder to the clay. Would it glow when "charged" with light?
“In the kitchen wrist twisting like it’s stir fry”,Quavo.
2min squad. Love me
Clay!!!!!!!!
Wool this stiff soften if it gets wet? Cuz I can see that being a problem with some of these applications
thanks that really helps, now i can make clay for cheap!
Hey, kings of random, you haven't tried oobleck in a vacuum chamber yet!
Can you make dry ice using carbon dioxide from soda and froze it with liquid nitrogen?
Nice
Keep going
Iraklis Sakalis
🙏🙏
What would happen if you use your styro slicer to cut through glass will it work
Wow
It rlly does look like mashed potatoes
Speedy WaveZ you just replied to you own comment 😂😂😂
Black Hawk i know
Speedy WaveZ 😂😂😂 why??
🧐 Because they either didn’t want to edit their comment (People criticize for that) and/or they had a format planned. 😃
Can you cast metal in flex seal?
And see what it dose in a vacuum chamber
Creds to the editing. 👌
See if you can use this clay as a mold for metal casting (I'm actually going to try it myself at some point as well).
Do woodworking videos and make a hover board
Yes master! As you say my general!
Jd Williams you can’t just make a hover board
Tyler Emberley you’re right, but the kind of random can
Ben ahaha try but still😂😂
A hover board that hovers is only possible in movies even with the technology of today
What would happen if you mix dry ice with clay or slime???
Would it make a clay foam?
it make itreally cold
\
You should try making some ceramic with the sun scorcher.
I would suggest using commercially available clay the paint can foundry and the king of random logos
This is awesome
Rest In Peace😔
See of you can put dry icr in a vacume chamber and see what happens
Linda Brown it’s been done
all it will do is take the fogfrom the dry ice out ant make it look like bloing wather
It just fills the chamber with CO2
He's done a video on it already
Im a new person sorry im only 11 aswell
Nice nice thanks for the tip i Will try that at Home
what happen if you mix magnesium powder with negative x? or with Thermite?
You've already made clay.... But if its air dry then it's different. This was a random video at like 11 pm
Yes, it it. A completely different material with completely different properties.
