Listen to him play blues. Yngwie def has great feel people telling you this don’t understand music. Just because Yngwie plays fast doesn’t mean he doesn’t have any soul in his playing because he def has soul in his playing.

So obvious that he enjoys every little note and wiggle of vibrato he plays, regardless of how many thousands of times he must have played this song. The people that say Yngwie has no soul or feeling in his playing are only in tune with the bluesy bends they've been told over and over are the only way to be soulful on the instrument. Why don't you realize you can get a lot more out of music appreciation if you're not pre-screening all of your opinions by asking yourself, "Is this what everyone else generally agrees is talented or moving or impressive?"

His bendings and vibratos are iconic. Don't get me wrong, there are mindless shredders, but I think he's not one of them. His solos aren't mindless shredding, just rock n roll on steroids.

I get what people mean when they say "Malmsteen doesn't play with feel", but from what I hear and see. Malmsteen has feel, from the way he utilizes vibrato on the notes he plays, and the faces he makes when he bends. As well as the presence and movements he has on stage really connects with me. Note that this is also coming from me, a guy who has played and listen to almost everyhthing from blues, glam metal, classic rock, funk and more.

    • @saidhruv7018

It's not that malmsteen doesn't have feel but the feel is very rare most of his solos are just note density for people who aren't interested in becoming shred gods, this being a rare exception with an insane amount of feel in a lot of parts. If you see him playing the "blues" you'll se what I mean, he plays the blues scale at 300 BPM.no point in that. But he is exceptional technically,no doubt.

TO EVERYONE CLAIMING YNGWIE'S "JUST SHREDDING":
    1. He's doing way more than just shredding, even in this song. Although he's shredding a lot.
    2. Just because he's shredding a lot, doesn't mean he can't play anything else! I personally love to shred, but I do love many other styles as well. Take Gary Moore's soloing for example - his guitar is almost litterally crying some times!
    3. "I can play way better than him, because I play with emotion and doing better things than just shred"
