It's arguably the second-best match of the tournament (the best for many) after the semi-final between Judd Trump and the winner here. So enjoy this exciting and high-quality match's final frames (from 15 to the end).
Match date: 26-27 April 2022

Steve Davis is an excellent commentator, wish he did it more!
Great match!
2022 Worlds was for me where Yan Bingtao "grew up" and cemented his position as a Top-16 player. His temperament, skills, patience, out-grinding Selby, and general good nature, really endears him to the fans. I know he's won the Masters, but this was his best tournament I think, in terms of his professional development. Great player, lovely guy, great to see a young guy pick up the game and play it so well.
Mark J Williams is the perennial "player's player" - nothing fazes him, he stokes the ball in with plain-ball striking better than anyone in the game, for me. True legend.
Yeah, he's definitely going big places.
He would be going places if not for being such a cheat. Maybe to jail's about all
Ohhh 1hr thanks man u kill my internet 🤣🤣
Mark's and Bing Tao's play is spectacularly matched with Cesar's exquisite editing. Well done all around!
Best highlights channel ever 🔥❤️
Yan Bingtao is an outstanding player, I can see him going on to great things. Fantastic video as always, Cesar. Your editing is just another level to most channels.
i feel like we'll see him win the worlds within 5 or so years
Mark is my favorite player, I love watching him shoot. I was actually expecting a decider on that last round but he just found a way to take it through sheer imagination and skill. Cheers to Yan, he's an outstanding young player and he's going to go big places. What a great match, thanks Cesar!
Thomas Mobley , your favorite player is Ronnie O'Sullivan
Shaun has done a lovely job as a commentator, I love the way he tries to show the sequence of potting reds, tactics and predictions of shots.
I'm in the 63rd minute now. Savored this over two days. Yan played great. Mark Williams was amazing.
Great graphics Cesar, much better highlighting for each shot
Yan was so bloody good. It took Williams at his brilliant best in the end to edge it. So sad about all the match fixing but that doesn't mean I'll forget what a talent he was
Best channel of snooker keep making the brilliant content great channel for snooker lovers love u bto
Gotta be one the best matches I've ever seen, even though not the result I hoped for at the time. World class snooker!
Mark is one of my favourite players
Fantastic video, thank you. It's so entertaining to watch players that are tactically astute as these two.
Sidenote: In the first 10 minutes, the commentators refer to the past session. It would have been interesting to know a bit more about the history of this match. According to cuetracker, for those, who are interested:
Mark : Bingtao
1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 2-2, 3-2, 4-2, 5-2, 6-2, 6-3, 6-4, 7-4, 7-5, 7-6, 7-7
Mark, your are the best, keep it up 💪💪💪
Amazing comments and educational explanations! Congrats. Top channel.
Fantastic end of the frame explanation.
56:14 - Steve's call - goes to show, The Nugget is just the best... ❤
Steve paved the way for all the superstars. And now he's killing it with his modular synth rig! Check the Utopia Strong...
I really hope the BBC listens to this vid Cesar, and appreciates what Steve and Dennis provided here. The snooker knowledge, the commentary, the scene-setting, the word pictures. Yes, Joe Perry, Shaun Murphy, and some younger commentators, are very good. But Steve and Dennis were imperious here.
It's like they bring the best out in each other, as they did 37 years ago in 1985! 👍
46:33 And the two-cushion escape predicted by Steve Davis. Then he underlines the importance of the pace: "When you are escaping from snookers, not only is the line important, but the pace you play at can increase your chances of the outcome being positive." It was the original choice for the intro quote :)
Excellent match by both players..
Great game, thanks for sharing 😉
Exquisite snooker by Mark.
YOU GOTTA LOVE DAVIS AND TAYLOR IN THE COMMENTARY BOX....AWESOME
Mark you are my champion for so many years. 💪💪💪
Great comment by Steve Davis about the Extended Bridge. Shall look for revised bridges in the future.
You always learn new things when Steve Davis is in the commentary box :)
Williams' long potting throughout the tornament, but in this match in particular was simply obscene. It was him rolling back the years to when he won the triple crown in '03.
Never knew this macho in Williams. Amazing last two.
Great edit, as usual, TFP. Some commentators are dangerous with control of the graphics, though. Ridiculous!
Wow, 69 minute video! Can't wait.
Pink at the end of the 16th frame [15:57] is a marvelous exhibition shot.
I can't believe Williams hit the red plant on the wrong side, but not the second time 😄
Wt a wonderful game .
"two gems in a row" lmao Cesar
Yan finding the gap in the 21st frame. Incredible.
Congratulations mark 💐
All the best 👍
56:15 what a call 😮💨
Brother plz make video on jack lisowski and neil robertson world champion ship match 2022 wsc
Sadly, I only have the decider :(
Cesar: Contact induced throw and various other effects are real, but not as relevant as one would think, if you watched a video explaining these phenomena's.
They are affected by the slip of the cloth and grime. Old, worn or dirty balls etc. These adds variation to the "cling" effect. And those are factors that changes, with humidity and temperature.
What we see and what we get, in terms of aiming & potting. Might not match our initial line of aim. But it will become true as our brain learns, and starts to auto correct for throw.
It happens much the same way a new player, figures out and compensate for the initial tendency to aim point to point. They will hit the ball too thick. After a few attempts they will auto correct.
Pool players tend to aim to the inside of the pocket. Rail + Jaw = Pocket. Snooker players aim towards the outside of the pocket. Jaw = Pocket. Of coerce depending on situation and angle.
Pro's only focus on the part of the pocket that makes it bigger, relevant to what they want to achieve with the cueball. And will rarely compensate in their aiming for anything other than Cue ball deflection and spin induced throw, witch varies with power & speed. If you asked me to shoot one shot on a table that was unfamiliar to me, high humidity, cloth brand and composition, dirty balls. Then perhaps I'd consider playing the cut, slightly thinner 🙂 My point is. All these factors are only "mysteriums" in the equation until you get used to the playing conditions & table.
I'm sure you can remember Cesar, I think it was a WC a few years ago, when the playing condition was greatly affected by air condition, humidity, or was it lack of audience perhaps. Not sure.
But what I do remember and understand is how, the identical practise tables played so different than the TV tables. And in those matches, Contact induces throw was a major problem.
Ronnie was one of the first to complain and also one of the best player to deal with the problem, he was hitting the ball too "Thick" but he understod why and started to adjust.
Its an interesting topic. The effects are real and it can affect match conditions even as the match goes on. An empty stadium, plays differently than a half full or full stadium.
Anyway. Thanks for a a great video again Cesar 🙂
I believe it is very relevant. As you mention, it can be intensified by external conditions and bring problems, which supports its relevance.
@@CesarMuroya I'd say its only relevant when new or changing conditions "Throws the ball" of the line of aim. Because of unexpected friction between cue ball and object ball.
if one side of the table had a bit of draft and humidity and the other side was dry. Then you'll probably have a hard time with your potting and positional consistency.
The Contact throw effect is normally spread evenly on the surface and balls. You can't tell just by looking at the table, so we shot and pick up the clues and compensate.
If during a match or practise, I kept hitting the ball too thick, I'd start to aim more thin. So we observe and adjust our aiming on the object ball. Not the line towards the pocket.
It only takes 5 shots to zero in a scope. We do it while aiming for the bulls eye. The scope is true, until conditions changes, if we continue to miss, we add a click left / right.
Spin induced throw and cue ball deflection is 100 times more a factor. Its the only thing a Pro "worry" about. Contact throw, while real, is already in the "aiming equation"
Consider this. Have you ever seen a Pro player, step away from the table and onto the pocket line of an object ball, that was not perfectly in line with the pocket?
I'm not here to argue with you Cesar. I love that you bring these things up in your video. I'm sure you can make a great video, with the match that had these terrible conditions.
But as a Pool coach and former "Pro" player. I'm concerned that people are shooting themselves in the foot. By putting to much "thinking" into contact throw. Just observe the ball.
I misunderstood and thought you meant the throw effect in general. I agree; Spin-induced throw is the most relevant by far. Speed or contact-induced throw is almost unnoticeable, except in plants where the two object balls are touching or nearly touching (reverse plants).
Thank you for making this observation. I'll take it into account next time :)
@@CesarMuroya No problem. I shot my self in the foot, in the first response by saying "Various other effects" I was probably thinking about "Cling" caused by chalk or dirt etc.
You educate as well as entertain the viewers with your videos. That's something few can do. So keep up the good work, I love it 🙂
👍🏼
25:31 Swan-neck

is there any one in any sport more annoying than a snooker referee
Why do you think the Referee is annoying???? They are a necessary part of the game…. Just like a Ref in soccer(I’m Canadian) they’re there to do a job and nothing more
