Cole The Cornstar, aka Cole, is a 4th generation family farmer from Central Iowa who is the life force behind his family’s 1,700 acre farm. Cole promotes agriculture by filming his day-to-day adventures with his Dad (Daddy Cornstar) and brother (Cooper) on the farm. With a lot of help from Daddy Cornstar, Cole instills humor and education into his videos fit for both young adults and adults. Despite being 22-years old, Cole has an old-fashion work ethic with an innovative approach toward agricultural technology and practices. Cole's mission is to prove the American Dream is not dead and be a megaphone for agricultural education and innovation, from technological advances in farming equipment to conservation practices.

Daddy your comment about "the grass will grow back" is so true. 50 years ago I keep a beautiful yard on our farm when the kids came our place became the neighbor hood play ground. Kids are grown with kids of their own. Now we have our grand kids and a bunch other kids still playing in our yard. Still no grass but like the wife says "we know were ours are". Good memories too! Thanks for sharing your family with us

Summer before 9th grade, in Nome, Alaska, my dad bought me a Honda 125; Mom a 150 and himself a 250. We'd go riding the dirt roads out in the country almost every weekend. Almost 40 years later...those are some good memories. Dad taught me light maintenance of my own bike which translated into maintaining my own car, later.

Daddy Cornstar, while we don't have a place to ride dirt bikes, my son has been getting road experience on the go-karts at the local amusement center. I figure that's pretty good driver training (and sometimes defensive driving training!). When I was a kid, we had a Honda 50 and then a 70, both of which were fun to ride.

Nice bike and helmets, excellent choice. Be sure to get some good gloves and boots. Cole, also, for Nave's bike, they should sell a softer "aftermarket" saddle that can replace the hard seat. Cole, be sure to check the air pressure in both bikes' tires also, usually 12 psi or higher for hard pack / gravel roads, 8 to 10 psi for softer mud. If you run below 7 psi or above 15 that could cause you to wreck easier. Any other questions let me know! Happy and safe riding.

Hi Cole, long time viewer first time poster i have a few tips that may save u some money with your bikes, where ur clutch and front bake levers mount to your handle bars unholy them and put Teflon tape around the bar where it mounts so if u tip over again the lever will pivot out of the way rather than breaking off you cam do the same for nava's bike cheap insurance hope that it makes sense.
    Cheers

Hi Cole and Naiva! I was just going to give you a tip. Alot of riders dont tighten the clutch and brake lever down very tight just for that reason so if you wreck it won't break. In other words you just want to snug it down so it has some give. That's my 2 cents. I love the vids. God bless.

If your going to keep riding in trails with your new dirtbike. I’d suggest getting a set of trail tires with the rims and sprockets so it’s easier to take them on and off. The back tire for trail is around $150-$200 with the rim and sprocket’s. The front tire is around $150 with the rim and the brake pad on it. You could really wreck your dirt bike tires with the street tires on trails. That’s why you fell over and push back your clutch. Because you have no grip and dirt with the street tires

Plus, you can hit small branches and not hurt the hands.... I've run them on every bike I've owned over the years... Acerbis, Moose are 2 brands... i run Acerbis! Well worth the money!

Advice, Put a wrap or 2 of teflon tape where your mirrors and levers tighten onto the bars. When you eventually dump the bike like you did the levers and mirrors will rotate and you wont break or bend the lever perch, levers or whatever else is on the bars.
