Three things I like about your reviews: 1. You are willing and able to point out negatives/problems. 2. You are willing and able to point out negatives/problems. 3. You are willing and able to point out negatives/problems.

Nice review, Matt and Andrea, thanks. You both always provide useful information and even a bit of entertainment.
    My likes:
    1. Interior looks roomy for being such a small class A.
    2. Massive kitchen counter space
    3. Storage everywhere inside
    4. Easily transportable propane bottles. Won't have to break camp and take the whole rig to a filling station when you run out of propane.
    5. Outside kitchen with a TV.
    Dislikes
    1. No couch. Would rather have a small couch and a long pedestal table than a dinette.
    2. No rear bumper. Seriously, Winnebago, kind of a stupid decision there. Not only for stinky slinky storage, but also for roof ladder access. Was there an add-on ladder in the kit we missed?
    3. Battery disconnect location is just dumb. Its like they couldn't afford a few feet of cable to mount it in a standard position in the step well.
    4. Missing propane quick connect (unless I missed it).
    5. Over cab bunk space headroom is tiny. Even though rated for 300 lbs, I couldn't imagine an adult human sleeping up there. On the flip side, looks like maybe you could still drive if the bunk was stuck in the down position.
Sorry, my likes and dislikes ended up being more than three.

The 3 things I do not like:
    1. no bumper and the ladder
    2. the bunk over the cab is too high
    3. where the battery disconnect is
The 3 things I do like:
    1. the quality of the cabinetry
    2. the layout of the kitchen
    3. the exterior color scheme

    Hey Matt and Andrea,
This is a sweet little Class A at a very good price.
    Likes:
    1. I really like the wood coloring, its really pretty.
    2. Excellent storage through out.
    3. The kitchen is amazing for a small motor home so is the bathroom size.
    4. Outdoor kitchen!
    5. Like the dinette table, some storage for games or office sipplies, table would work great for someone who likes to stand up while working on computer.
    Dislikes:
    1. The wall with the TV looks awkward, sort of sticks out like a sore thumb. Its a good placement for the swivel cab seats, but the wall needs something, little shallow shelves for remotes, or wood panel at bottom maybe. The white wall is just - in your face.
    2. Out side storage is not great but I guess a couple could use the bunk over cab for folding table, chairs and outdoor rug?
    3. Ladder = great, lack of bumper = accident waiting to happen.
    4. Two windows on the left side wall of bed - 0 windows for the person stuck sleeping on the right (not a deal breaker, but im the sucker sleeping on the right.
Overall, very nice, very DIY - National park friendly size at a great price.

You missed the point of the lack of a bumper. . . You'll have to be an athlete to use the ladder, nothing to step on to get on the ladder.

You two have the "white awning" issue wrong. IT'S GOOD!!! Why? Real simple, it reflects sun better to make it cooler under it. I'd take white over dark any day!

Heat rises, so if heat goes up it draws is more air faster so as heat goes up that leaves colder air to rush in the void of the hot air.

Years ago I work for a heavy equipment and traveled the U.S. and the world as a field service rep. I once traveled with the design engineer of the equipment we where sent to set up. During the set up people complained how things went together and worked. The engineer never said he designed the unit!!!! He later told me he was worried about the ball busting he would get, if anyone new he designed the equipment. Design engineers need to get out in the in the real world to see, listen, and use what they draw!!!!

Hey Matt, I like the gray color. The old white intents always reminded me of an ambulance.
Offer a small couch instead of the dinette with a pedestal table that could go in so you could eat at the couch.
install a bumper for the sewer hose, and for goodness sakes add another step or two to the ladder, we don't want to see Matt get hurt

    3 things I don’t like:
-the weird wood paneling on the walls. It’s like a bad 70s/80s basement at your aunt Linda’s house. That stuff also peels the top layer off if you get tape or anything on it. Gross. No thanks Winnebago.
    - the textured wallpaper. It just looks like a hospital waiting room. Whatever you use to cover the walls, just make it smooth so it’s easier to wipe down and clean.
    - That battery switch is a JOKE. I agree Matt, I’m not climbing half way into a storage box to turn it on.
    The things I like:
    - The kitchen is a great design. Nice counter space, good size sink, and the counters aren’t sticking out awkwardly.
    - I love that they didn’t put ridiculous 4” swatches of carpet on the slide outs, where the dinette connects to the floor, or the master bed, etc... those tiny little carpet islands drive me nuts and you want to carry around a vacuum for that? Please just stick to this no carpet style or use a piece of trim to cover up the seams. This is so nice being carpet free.
    - I love the bedroom set up! Plenty of cabinets, under the bed storage, lots of light from the windows, and short over the bed lights (so you don’t whack your head when you sit up) and a nice headboard!! Great design.
Awesome video M & A! You guys rocked it as usual my dudes. 💪☺️

Hi Matt Just sent you a e mail. This Winnebago DOES HAVE A COMPUTER TRAY! LOL Look in the passenger side door. Its black and flat. It has a way to hook in to the passenger side dash by putting it at 90% angle to the dash and bring it down. It will be secure on the dash at that point AND it slides some as well. NOT breaking your Chops, I just know you want to be accurate with your reviews. I know this because I saw another(indoor RVs) sow it yesterday on her review.

Love the little outside kitchen w/tv. Wish more toy haulers had this feature. Agree w/Andrea on the white awning Wah Wah's. White really looks nice in the beginning but it isn't long before you have to roll up the awning from high winds and rain so it rolls up wet. Do this a couple times and soon the black mold shows up. Love the interactions between you two. I feel like Matt represents the professional/seller and Andrea represents us the customers viewpoints more often than not. Matt represents us the customers more than most other RV salesmen however especially on the roof and in the bathroom.

    HI MATT & ANDREA!
THIS WINNEBAGO 28Y IS VERY CUTE AND HAVE A GREAT PRICE.
I AGREE WITH MATT, NO SOFA. TO HAVE A DINETTE AND NO SOFA IS A BUMMER. SECONDLY, NO BACK BUMPER TO HELP SUPPORT CLIMBING ON THE PERMANENT FIXED LADDER. THIS IS NUMBERS TWO AND THREE. I DON'T LIKE A PERMANENT FIXED OUTSIDE LADDER. YOU DON'T WANT ANYONE CLIMBING ON TOP OF THE ROOF. WAWAWONK!
NUMERO CUATRO WILL BE THE PLASTIC TOILET. NO GOOD. I LIKE, HOWEVER, THAT THE TOILET IS SEATED ON A LIFT HENCE GIVING HEIGHT. THAT'S GOOD!
FIVE, THE BATTERY SHUT OFF SWITCH. THE LOCATION OF IT AND THE MECHANISM BOTH IS A FAILURE.
SIX, THE OVERHEAD BUNKER CANNOT ACCOMMODATE A COMFORTABLE SLEEPING AREA. NO ROOM FOR ANYONE TO SLEEP THERE WITHOUT HITTING THEIR HEAD. AND IT ONLY ACCOMMODATES UP TO 300 LBS. NO GOOD.
I CAN DO AWAY WITH THE OUTDOOR ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM AND SMALL KITCHEN SINK AND FRIDGE.
OTHER THAN THESE ISSUES, IT'S A BARGAIN.
    THANKS FOR KEEPING US INFORMED.

The three things that I do not like are:
    1. The battery disconnect is hard to get to. I wonder if W. put it out there because of the kitchen slide?
    2. The outdoor "kitchen" is more of a wet bar than a cooking space, there's no cooktop to help with food prep.
    3. I would rather the cockpit seats rotated in, have a sofa with a couple of tables with posts to use , vice the dinette.
    for each seating group
    Three things I liked:
    1. Compact but roomy with the slides
    2. Impressive storage
    3. Great bathroom design, wonder if the toilet could be upgraded.
BTW Matt, I love your videos. I would like to see more Class B models.

👍 Smashy! Really thought you were going to take a header from that ladder, probably the same distance Neil Armstrong had to jump to get to the Lunar surface from the Eagle. L: space slides in/out; kitchen and appliances including the outside kitchen, if they were to replace the wide storage to the right of the fridge could a larger fridge be put in? ;a bed that doesn't fold up and a pocket door. D: never knew about the battery disconnect it's worse than hiding the over bunk switch or awning switch in the master bathroom, there better be a really good explanation for this apparent boneheaded placement; of course no rear bumper (trying to kill Matt eliminating true and unbiased reviews for RV lovers everywhere) with storage so tight outside just where does the stinky slinky go?; the generator right under the bed OMG harkens me back to the days when I had a waterbed with a vibrating massage function (it just vibrated the heck out of the frame). Stay safe you two, stay indoors if possible. 😷😷😷😷 We got us 7 new COVID-19 people tied to being forced to vote in person two weeks ago 😥😥

My Man Matt and My Girl Andrea!
A Class A motorhome with no sofa? Deal breaker. I'm with you Matt, I'd prefer a sofa and no dinette.
A ladder on the back that you need a ladder just to get to the bottom rung? No bumper? Who designed that? Who signed off on it? Deal breaker.
The battery disconnect that you have to be a contortionist to access. Who in the world did design some of these features?
Loved the outdoor kitchen. Loved the versatility of the dinette table.
    Loved the storage.

I’m right there with you Matt! As a single guy without a bunch of kids to tag along-I’d rather have a comfy sofa/theater seating with small floating table than have a booth dinette if I had to have one or the other. We own a 2005 Winnebago Minnie Class C and are in the market for a new rig in the next few years. The more of Matt's reviews I watch the more I realize we will not own another Winnebago. It seems they are stuck in the past and other manufacturer's have caught up with better quality and design. The things I like:
    1. Pocket door for the bedroom instead of accordion.
    2. Winnebago make great cabinetry.
    Things I don't like:
    1. No rear bumper of any kind. Matt perfectly demonstrates how this renders the ladder almost useless.
    2. TV in the outdoor kitchen. So to watch TV outside you have to seat yourself all the way at the end of the canopy, therefore opening the possibility of being in the sun depending on the angle. Also this leads to number 3.
    3. Why is there a slide on the patio side? Other manufacturers have moved to the driver's side so the slide doesn't take up space under the awning and block access to the under storage where you put your patio equipment like chairs, etc.
    4. The fridge in the outdoor kitchen could have been bigger if they did away with the drawer underneath. It's too small to be effective for outdoor entertaining.
    5. Still using those crummy turn/switch locks on the outside storage compartments. They wind up stripping out over time. Where are the lever activated handles?
    6. 20lb Propane tanks are a great idea for easy swap. However, you have to remove a bolt to get them loose which is just a hassle. Pull up at Walmart and spend 10 minutes with a tool kit to get the tank out. How about a strap design with a flip lever around each tank?
    7. No computer tray for passenger seat.
    8. The overhead bunk has no windows and not even a light near the front of the coach. And it's so cramped it would be like sleeping in an oversize coffin.
    9. The mid bathroom completely cuts the coach in half and limits the living room and kitchen space.
    10. Lift up dinette table seems like a gimmick design just to say "we did something different". Serves no practical purpose IMO.
    11. I know Winnebago's cabinets are high quality in their manufacturer, but I agree with Andrea the color sucks. That combined with the crummy wallpaper makes the whole thing look cheap.
    12. We have the same "desk" and window in our bedroom. Wasted space in ours, and proves that Winnebago sticks with the same design 15 years later. Our 2005 bedroom is almost identical and this just shows a lack of innovation IMO.
    13. No couch. Plenty of options at this size/price that have both a dinette and a couch.
    14. Plastic toilet. I'd pay and extra $200 for a porcelain one.
    15. Shower dimensions are wrong to have a door. Ever drop something and have to bend over to get it?
    16. Faux paneling behind the TV looks cheap.
    17. Dinette is small so the driver's seat and rotate and not be blocked by the bench seat. However the dinette can only seat 2 people?
    18. After giving a second look, because of the patio side slide offering the extra counter space in the kitchen and the bathroom placement, it's like walking through a maze to get to the rear of the coach. Enter coach, turn left, bob right, walk forward, bob left, walk forward, bob right to avoid the bedroom cabinets. Breaks up the flow through the coach.
I would buy a half dozen other comparable RV's at this size/price point before this one. The Thor A.C.E. 27 comes to mind first. Winnebago, I appreciate the quality you put in your products, but other manufacturer's are leaving you behind in the design and innovation department. You can't just live on your name forever and expect to charge a premium if you don't keep up with the times.
Matt and Andrea. new subscriber and love the channel. Keep em coming we appreciate your insight and thorough reviews.

Yeah, you gotta have a bumper! I mean come on! And...Yeah, the battery shut off? What? They could easily have wired that to go inside. Third, no couch. They should at least have put in 2 recliners instead for comfort. You could always use a fold up table to use a computer or to eat off of. I mean, it's not upscale and I'm not looking for complete luxury right? Okay, now I love the kitchen space! Lots of counter space and huge kitchen sink and an oven, pantry and plenty of drawahs! Lots of storage in the bathroom. Great storage in the bedroom as well and I prefer the storage under the bed. I have a suggestion for the 4 P's...you don't take into account once a full roll of toilet paper is installed, there is no longer the leg room you think you have when you sit. Blam! I'm so smart! Haha! Btw, this is Tammie Miller commenting, Tim had to leave for work, but he was watching with me this morning. Congrats on all the subs! You guys work hard for it! I'm digging the 'adjustable' dinette table, like counter space in kitchen, great storage everywhere! Dislike the look of the benches at the dinette they look cheap, ladder is not user friendly, and Matt's right, the disconnect is in a crummy spot.

Likes: the table, kitchen and bedroom cabinets. Dislikes: battery disconnect (stupid idea), ladder (ridiculous), no rear bumper. Who wasn't thinking when they built this unit? It looks so cheap. You two are very entertaining! Better than most TV shows! The puppy will act like a crazy dog for about 3 years! I had a lab and he was full of energy. He ended up being the best dog ever but it took a long time! Good luck with the dog! 🐕

I taught my malamute puppy not to bite by tugging on his canine teeth when he came at us. Just a firm playful tug made him pull away. After awhile(a few weeks maybe?) he learned that it was unpleasant to chew on his humans! He was great with tbe littles after that.

Three things I like are....the space from the slides, outside storage space for a small Motorhome, and the kitchen area. Three things I dislike are...it does need a sofa and have a couple of holes in the floor for a table ( my parents had one in the 90’s that had this and it was great), shower seems a little claustrophobic, and the outside color-I like darker colors.

Hey Matt and Andrea! Great video as usual! I liked this one a lot because of it's size, then you showed power button waaaay in the back, in the bottom, in the dark. Who does that? NOBODY! Right Andrea? LOL!
    Dislikes: #1 is listed above
    #2 would prefer theater seating
#3 color of appliances; too dark, would prefer stainless steel
Likes: #1 the kitchen is my favorite
#2 table top could hold cards and game pieces

The white awning is to keep the underside cooler. Also, the battery disconnect switch in our Winnebago is inside, near the door. Great, except for when your grandchildren are with you. Always accidental shutting off of the switch. Lol! We love our interior. You guys, at times, make it sound cheap, which it's not. Other than that, love your reviews!!

Great video as always. May I suggest to show the floorplan for at least 20 seconds. Also when panning around the inside. Please slow down a bit and rest the cam for a few seconds on each area like cockpit, living area, dinette, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom.
Reason > its so quick I always have to rewind to the floorplan to pause. But since I watch your videos on my TV, pausing overlays half the screen with controls. I use a standard Android TV. So I guess this impacts many people. Thanks.

Everytime I see Matt climb up to the roof, I click the thumbs up ... I feel like there should be a double-thumbs up for this video for the effort alone. Having a ladder but making it difficult to use is my biggest dislike. As for the battery switch, it's definitely not convenient and should have been put inside, next to the door. However, I wonder if that switch is accessed through the battery compartment door next to the big door that you show. It seems like the switch was far enough back that it sat over the batteries in the small compartment next to the big one. In which case, it's easier to access, but still a dumb placement.

Just found your videos and love them! Subscribed to your channel. The hubby and I are looking to downsize, currently we have a 1999 Monaco Diplomat diesel pusher, 40', 1 slide. Due to the hubby's health, I am going to have to drive more and I just am not comfortable with what we have, especially when we are towing. I want short! LOL Anyway, have been looking at the FR3's, loved your videos on them. Then I saw this and I am almost persuaded.
    What I like:
    1. Loved the short length with 3 slides
    2. bedroom size is nice
    3. Kitchen area
    What I dislike:
    1. No sofa - I would take out that dinette and add my own sofa and use tv trays - and Winnebago that extra work just might be a deal breaker
    2. Pure stupid: the disconnect switch (ridiculous) and no back bumper
    3. plastic toilet - would immediately replace it with porcelain
    4. I thought there should be a gas hookup by the outside kitchen
Anyway, keep up the good work!

    1) Don’t like slides on passenger side - takes up awning sitting area; 2) don’t like dinette (prefer recliners); 3) hate the bunk/coffin in front. Do like: 1) no ugly valances on windows; 2) lots of counter space in kitchen; 3) layout and storage in bathroom. (Okay, have to add - hate where the battery disconnect is.)

SK41: Dislike, #1: Would much prefer stainless steel sinks in kitchen and bathroom. White sinks and plastic commode look and feel cheap and chintzy. Dislike, #2: Matt is correct when he says that a sofa is required in addition to the dinnette. Dislike #3, Need 50 amp service for second a/c unit installation. Dislike #4: Should have outside kitchen delete option. Dislike #5: New Ford 7.3 liter "Godzilla" V8 should be standard instead of outdated, obsolete V10 engine. Dislike #6: Needs an "In Command" style system to operate a/c, heat and keep track of fresh, gray and black water tanks as well as no less than five (5) standard 100 amp LiFePo4 (Battle Born type) batteries . Dislike #7: Need heated and insulated tanks, and dump valves. Dislike #8: Needs at least 510 watts of Solar panels on roof, plus 3,000 amps of switchable, hybrid, pure sine wave inverter. Likes #1, #2 and #3: Price, Price and Price.

Like: Prep for solar, outside kitchen, (don't like no propane stove outside), no floor vents! Don't like: frig limited access when slides closed. We need 2 workspaces - computer tray and a place to put monitors for work vs dinette. With the majority of ppl still working remotely, are builders going to give us options to put desks? It would have been better that the dinette table would move toward one of the seats to have more space.

I like that the kitchen sink DOESN'T MOVE so the plumbing is fixed and does not move, even though the kitchen has a slide. That's very clever. I don't like that there's no slide out food pantry, when they had the space to do it next to the fridge.
