So It's not about accumulating wealth or material possessions, but about living a life of love, generosity, and service. The treasure is the joy of giving, the peace of loving, and the connections we make along the way. It's about investing in experiences, memories, and relationships that will last for eternity.
It's not about giving away everything aimlessly, but about using what we have to love others and honor God. It's about using our resources to build meaningful relationships, spread love and kindness, and bring joy to those around us. Not to gain more wealth or status, but to experience the treasure of heaven right here, right now.
Let's focus on storing up treasures that truly matter - love, kindness, compassion, and connection. Let's use what we have to invest in the things that will last forever, and experience the joy and peace of heaven in our daily lives.

For Tim and Jon, concerning the eaters and their sweaters: I have been in the pest control industry for many decades. In my area, silverfish are the main cause of this type of damage. If it was the larvae of the clothes moth there would be obvious signs, i.e. webbing and/or the pupae case. Air out your woolen and linen items and store with space between If possible.

Wow this was enlightening thanks for teaching me. What I got from this is that the things we have is meant to be used and shared with others in need. Not for us to store and keep for ourselves. And also if we lived like this then there most likely would be no homelessness or struggle in our community

For me, the King James Bible is far more convicting than some other bibles I’ve read. It actually lead to my salvation

35:00 such and interesting and well-worded elaboration of message. In some ways this is a passage that has always sort of stumped me. One of the points that confuses me (maybe rightfully) about the day-laborers passage is that many of the translations I read include a footnote saying the workers are receiving a standard day's wage. When I heard Tim say it, I realized it's true---the wage they (we) receive is already more than generous. At least in my framework, this teaching of Jesus is one I know and accept tacitly as fundamental but also find slightly offensive.
