INSIDE HURRICANE IAN! Punta Gorda, FL Sep 28, 2022

Inside Hurricane Ian as it made landfall in southwest Florida on Sep 28, 2022. Footage shot in Punta Gorda, putting me directly in the center of the eye. Max winds at Punta Gorda airport reached 128 mph.
The eye closed as it came onshore, but I did not want to be beachside for the landfall with the devastating surge predictions (which sadly become true).

How did this compare with Michael in Panama City pretty close in strength I’m sure. If I am wrong please correct me. Great job.
