I was laughing when you went oooh! The pliers fell..😂 so glad you didn't edit, as it helps us beginners to know we aren't all alone ...I'm always dropping things.
Thank you Oxana for this quick little tutorial. I actually used it on a beautiful Plum agate cross pendant that had a drilled hole on the very top. I didn't find the bail very secure so I wanted a sweet way to still sell this very pretty cross. Thank you for all your tips and techniques. You're a real gem to make all these videos for us. I wish I could send somebody your way but it's just not feasible for me. I'll never be able to thank you enough🙏💖🤗
Thank you so much, Oxana! I keep learning so much every time I watch and then attempt to follow your tutorials! And happy to see that your daughter is following in your footsteps!
Oxana, Love this short tutorial. This is so neat how you made this pendant holder along with the easy bail. Thank you for sharing your creative designs. Hugs to you from Florida!🌞🌞🌞
Thank you so very much Oxana, for sharing your talents and knowledge with us. I just finished my 6th pendant using your tutorial - from Pink to Red Rhodonite opals ovals to Red Jasper cabochons. I fully enjoy all your tutorials and have learned so much from your generosity. Again, I sincerely thank you.
Hi Oxana! Thank you for sharing this great little tutorial. It looks like it will really work well for some of my pretty but small stones that have been waiting for me to let them shine. Love this!
Who in their right mind would give you a thumbs down.. hey this is @aumi.Jewels on Instagram... I sent you several messages well complements anytime I’m sure you’re super busy but that actually upsets me to see that somebody would give you a thumbs down probably because they’re jealous or something.... but I think it’s great that you help beginners start their way into the jewelry business...🤗
Awesome my first attempt and though my bale wire was too short I got it whilst not as neat as yours but I understood your directions immensely grateful it still looks pretty ❤
If it falls out the bottom that must mean that gap on bottom is too wide. Is your round cabochon much bigger than mine, I usually find it a bit harder to trap the stone in securely with this design when stone is big.
Sorry I am not sure what you mean, this is a pendant. Do you mean a bigger size stone? Yes if you want to use bigger stone I'd increase wire size a bit as well to keep it sturdy
Hi Oxana! Can you tell me the name and brand of the hammer you use? My chasing hammer has a dome to it and I'd like to purchase one that is flat. Thank you!

Glad you enjoyed, I also tend to drop things often, luckily it was just pliers and not the stone
I love the fact that you use the wire to show the stone at it's best. Thanks for sharing. Love it. Be safe and stay healthy 😷⚒

what a great way to improvise :) Glad it worked out so well for your cross pendant!

Love su trabajo 🙏
Beautiful 🙏😍
Sweet!
I love learning from you. The problem when I make this is the stone still falls out from the bottom so I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong
If it falls out the bottom that must mean that gap on bottom is too wide. Is your round cabochon much bigger than mine, I usually find it a bit harder to trap the stone in securely with this design when stone is big.
@@OxanaCrafts I never even thought about that thank you so much. You are the most amazing I love to learn from you
Wow que bello 🤗
Muy bonito
I haven’t heard you for a while. It appears you are becoming quite familiar with the metric system.
Nice!!
Can you make a ring using this same design?
I love this tutorial! Would this same technique work on a cabochon of a different shape, such as oval or pear shape?
Thank you, yes it will
This was great information, Thank you! Do you think this technique could be used for a necklace as well? Or would the gage have to be thicker?
Sorry I am not sure what you mean, this is a pendant. Do you mean a bigger size stone? Yes if you want to use bigger stone I'd increase wire size a bit as well to keep it sturdy
@@OxanaCrafts Yes, that is what I meant. Thank you!
Cute ❤️🇩🇰
When hammering, are you avoiding the twisted area?
Yes I am
Hi Oxana! Can you tell me the name and brand of the hammer you use? My chasing hammer has a dome to it and I'd like to purchase one that is flat. Thank you!
Search online for finishing hammer. The shape and heft should be something you're comfortable with. Find what you like. Good luck.
I got it ages ago on ebay it was called chasing hammer and it has a flat side and a domed side
@@OxanaCrafts thank you!
My compliments. Where can I buy the cabochon?
this one I got from ebay
@@OxanaCrafts thank you
Hi where do you get your wire from
From a website called Rio Grande, they sell lots of jewlery supplies
What size hammer do you use for that? :)
I have no idea, it is called chasing hammer, I got it ages ago from ebay, just the cheapest one I could find
@@OxanaCrafts okay thank you!
That stone is known as a "druzy" :)
Didn't you hear. She said it loud & clear. It's not a stone. It's plastic.
@@mawi1172 I know that. However as it is a type of cabochon, it still counts
you are right, it does have the texture of those druzy crystals!
