That dacron whip you made is a wonderful piece of plaiting! At one point in my life I was very into whip making and dacron was just becoming a "thing" in the maker community. I'd like to get my hands on some one of these days still.
I absolutely love cracking whips thanks to you Adam I literally have my 14th and 15th whipon the way hear and me and my wife have started to teach ourselves how to make em I can do everything but 4 Cornor's and fi's crossover I wanna know more about the competition too
Probably a stupid question: why prevent a leather whip from getting wet? If the leather is treated, wouldn’t the leather wick the water off? Sorry if I am misunderstanding
dumb question, in some stories or shows there are battle whips (like in Castlevania it's leather whip) that have a small ball at the end instead of crackers. what are those called ?
I think that’s just a movie/cartoon thing. Any whip that cracks needs a cracker. There is the short Russian nagaika made for striking, and South American boleadoras.
I made another video specifically about the titanium whip, check out my other videos. I also posted photos on my Facebook page, look up Adam "Crack" Winrich.
Adam do you have a source for the polypro twine to make crackers? Could you do a breakdown of the german Kruseli (spelling?) crack that Ben Hughes does in the Launceston Special?
I think April Choi did a video on a trick she calls the Carolina Cutback, I also talk about it more in my video about Simon's Lightning. Those two videos should help. I have been buying poly twine on Amazon.
One of them I got from a Hungarian lady I knew who was going home for a visit. The other ones I got from a guy I found on Facebook. Unfortunately there aren't any places in the US to buy a good one.
@@Adam-Winrich The odd situation. There are many tutorials how to make a whip from paracord, leather, even from PET-bottles. And I can not find no one about making from rope. When in the past such whips were widely spreaded.
Gary Billington I have seen snakeskin used in the handles of whips, but I have never seen it in the body of a whip. It might not have the strength needed to braid it.
@@Adam-Winrich I just want a 22 footer cow whip. I think krist king might help. Does krist king make good cow whips? Dont know if u have like a 20+ footer cow whip from him
He said not Amazon or eBay but there is a seller on there LB's whips I deal with Sam he is amazing and works fast and ships quickly he also takes custom order 😎😁
AdamCWM thank you soooo much I recently got one of amazon but it broke easily I’m sort of a beginner and have the basic reverse cattle mans crack and the normal cattle mans crack I am enjoying very much
BostonTricker there are lots of different ways to tan cowhide. Some are super stretchy and not strong enough for lace, but some are. You have to be selective of what you use.
@AdamCWM, thanks for another interesting video. I'd like to get a single paracord bull whip and learn targeting. Any recommendations on where to buy one (online) and appropriate length for a newbie like me? Thanks.
I do have a kangaroo bullwhip with a handle made from rawhide that came from a cow. I’m not sure a steel fabric popper, or a popper with metallic thread, would do any more damage.
I was in Houston once to see your show and loved it so I watched again in same day , me and my wife we loved your show 👌🏻

Very cool Adam! These videos are great!
Nice collection. I got a whip made from deer skin and water buffalo.
Cool! Where did you get the water buffalo whip? Ebay?
AdamCWM made it myself.

You should get 64 more whips and do a different whip every day! I’d be hooked

And once another sort of material for addition. I had made my first whip from 3 pieces of electrical cable of different diametr.
Great vid!

Can You make a detail movie about rope whips?
Sure. The ones I have come from the German-speaking parts of Europe, and also some come from China.

Could you , have you made a whip from a snakeskin, like the released pets that have grown enormous in the everglades ?
Gary Billington I have seen snakeskin used in the handles of whips, but I have never seen it in the body of a whip. It might not have the strength needed to braid it.
@AdamCWM where can I order a Conrad Rustenburg cow whip?
Spencer Merrell His website is whipsandwhatknots.com. My wife also makes them, www.dakittywhips.com

Spencer Merrell, I have several of Krist King’s whips, he would make a good 22 footer.
Is it normal to drool at the sight of a pile of whips??

I thought chrome tan cow hide was not suitable for making whips cause of how stretchy they are.

Can i buy one
The hungarian is alum salt leather.
Peter Moritz in that case, it would be the same as the Australian white hide.
@@Adam-Winrich I know a guy who has some Hungarian whips for sale here in the usa. If you interested let me know. His whips are not alum leather.
Peter Moritz Yes, I’m interested. Can you send me a message through my FB page, Adam ‘Crack’ Winrich.

How bout a cowhide butt and handle, kangaroo transition knot, thong, fall hitch, fall, steel fabric popper?
