Wow! A full size Matchbox car. These were beautiful looking and engineered cars, much better looking cars than the 'Rolls Royces' designed and made by a certain asset stripping German car company. All I can say is good luck.
great exterior styling, much better than the Silver Spirit/Spur (also non-BMW RR's) that replaced it. Remember when these were new, they were the 'radical' RR's (compared to the Silver Cloud) and modern. Now they are a 70 year old design. But a great collectible and can also be a daily driver for short trips.
These cars don’t do well sitting for any length of time! Keep it running regularly if you can! Run the engine at least for 10 min at least once per month! I have a 65 and a 77 Shad! Wonderful cars! IntroCar in the UK will supply you with most spares you‘ll need. Good luck with it!
I have a Bentley T1 1970. Owned it for the last 17 years. Absolute money pit. I have receipts for in excess of £63k. Can't say it is the most reliable car. Covered 3k miles in 17 years. Be very weary be very cautious about floor pan, inner & outer scills, wheel arches, jacking points, suspension, wiring, engine. All parts are eye-watering prices.
If you want to offload it without the hassle of the accumulators etc let me know. Happy to buy it blind if you’d leave a little in it? Nice video and good luck if you see it through yourself. She looks well considering.
@@SilasChapman maybe, but why didn;t they even cover it when they stored it? Why didn't they attach a drip charger so the battery would work? And, worst of all, was the right front window left open?????

Change the oil before starting it up and use an exterior fuel supply to avoid any tank contamination to suck up through the lines👍

Bodywork looks straight. A lot of recommissioning but it's all there. Nice project!
Nice find Paul , looking forward to seeing you recommission it 😊

Good luck 👍 🇬🇧
It puzzles me how such a grand car is „forgotten“ in a garage. What’s the story behind that?
Repair costs are enormous
