An impressive hotel complex and I think that is partly what you are paying for and, of course, the name. Not forgetting the light show, which was also impressive. I appreciate being able to experience these locations through your eyes without me having to go there!
This is my town Tim! The old Hard Rock used to be my regular hang out when I was younger. I think most of the locals aren’t that impressed with the new Guitar Hotel except for the pools and the light show. The light show in person is extraordinary and the guitar is far bigger than you think when watching videos of it! They do specialty themed holiday light shows and we saw it one year for New Years Eve. Count down and ensuing light show on the guitar was brilliant! You can’t beat it from the pool/lagoon and I highly recommended it on special occasions at least once in your life. I hope you are enjoying/enjoyed your stay here in Florida! It was so nice to see that you popped into my area!
@@lindavis224 the guitar hotel is a sort of attraction and it’s grouped with the old hard rock casino and other retail/nightlife areas. It’s not in a residential area so the noise wouldn’t be bothering neighbors. It can be loud when you are there, but like a party loud, a fun loud. I haven’t stayed in the guitar hotel rooms but I have stayed in the old hard rock hotel rooms and the rooms themselves are peaceful.

I just remember when I was younger being there at all different hours of the day and night for one reason or another and it was always opened. At least the ones inside the hotels.
I'm also a hotel reviewer & that would really be taking the Michael only being able to checkin at 5pm. I would probably complain because it's obvious they let other people checkout late when you have paid for the time from 2pm. 3ish probably can forgive them but 5 is ridiculous especially as you're only staying 1 night
I worked out this seems to be a common ploy with expensive hotels. You have to check in late which doesn't give you enough time to enjoy all of the facilities you have paid for before the early checkout time the next morning. What they hope to do is steer you round to booking a multi night stay, so you get more time to use everything and thus get your 'moneys worth', if that makes sense. Even though you've now dropped another grand for a second night
Would love to try out that shower just once. Soooo many shower heads. Kinda funny, it will rinse the soap off you when you turn all of them on, I imagine....lolol

If you’re still in the states, you might consider a visit to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge (Tennessee) area to experience a plethora of unique and whacky entertainment and lodging options!
I was paying 250 a night in the seychelles, hot tub, spa bath, steam shower, two huge rooms and massive balcony at a boutique hotel and an unbelievable view out to the beach and indian ocean. Ill never understand how hotels of "reasonable" luxury quality like this one is 3 x that cost. America and the UK are terrible for hotel costs.
The hotel looks great, shame the room doesn’t live up to the rest of the hotel, I was actually a little shocked when Tim opened the door to his room, looks like a care home, no way was that room worth £1k a night.
Most casinos have a separate nonsmoking room. My experience in casinos is that most people drink, smoke and gamble. The nonsmoking enclosures are usually empty.
The environmental footprint of that place is absolutely *enormous!* All those lights, the giant water fountains, plastic straws and throw-away coffee cartons. An absolutely beautiful hotel, but I'd have issues with the eco-footprint.
Ah mate this made me smile. I went to Hollywood, Florida about 2 years ago, stayed about 15 minutes away from the Hard Rock, & I absolutely love the city, to the point I'd move there tomorrow given half the chance 🤣 Never got the chance to visit the hotel but I'll definitely make sure to do so after seeing this!

🎉 Hi Tim, I had an event at this hotel in June and it was great! I love the casino and it was fun but the rooms are really pricey in the Guitar! The rooms are cheaper in the Hard Rock surrounding the guitar. 🎉

$998 or £998?. Either way that's not my idea of value for money. No goodies in the fridge? Why would you need a outside shower?. The casino quite appeals to me, you should have chanced your luck Tim, a moderate win might have paid for your breakfast. To my eyes it's impressive when you first walk in, but by the time you leave you feel somewhat underwhelmed.
It’s £760.06p. The outside shower is probably because a lot of these rooms are frequented by people that hire other people for certain “services”. Basically any way of viewing stuff is encouraged. I hope this helps.

We drove past this hotel 5 years ago when it was being built. Couldn’t believe it!! We honestly thought we were seeing things. Still got a stay there on our bucket list 😊
What strikes me instantly, is that there is no guitar to be heard in that blaring non-descript "music" in the lounge. But I've just started watching, don't mind me. 😉 They did get the LP-shape pretty much spot-on. I own one ('11 Antique Natural Classic Custom) so am quite familiar with it.
I live near this GIGANTIC thing, and the traffic is always horrible. I do love the light show though. Always beautiful whenever I'm passing by it at night.
You can see the hotel from the Turnpike and it’s really pretty seeing it illuminated at night. I agree the signs are confusing and just a heads up to potential visitors , there is a lot of walking involved getting from point A to B.
We were in a suite on the 10th floor about 2 weeks ago, there was a problem and the elevators were closed, it was 1:30 in the morning and people were collected all around the sofas by the pool entrance. I was leaving for work in the morning from the guitar so really needed to get upstairs to bed, they said, well you can wait down here with all the people or walk up, so yes, we had to walk 10 flights of stairs to reach our suite.
No, I don't think that I would want to stay there, I think I would be completely overwhelmed and would probably get myself lost! It was interesting to see it though, thanks Tim 😊
Thank you for taking us along to the guitar-shaped hotel. We’ve seen it from the road while driving to Key West and were curious about it. I’m glad to have seen inside, but I wouldn’t want to stay there, much too noisy.
I’ve stayed in a few Hard Rock hotels and they’ve all been unique and interesting in their own way but, that one looks like it would be an exceptional experience! Well done Tim!
I stayed in the original building 7 years ago, the pool and food was amazing but it stank everywhere of cigarettes sadly as most hard rocks smell amazing, but looking at it now looks amazing! Hope you get to stay at Margaritaville just up the road on the beach as that hotel is fabulous, food drink and entertainment! Rooms are lovely too with lovely views!
I’ve been to this hotel for a 3 day for the first time. It felt VERY Vegas and I’ve never been to Vegas. I loved it. Love the atmosphere. Love the food. Loved my room. Loved my stay. Would definitely go back.
The shower outside is used for when u lay outside and get hot, then u jump in the cold shower. The room is kinda plain but that's what u expect from a casino hotel. Too many ppl steal things and that's why it's like that. Also with winning the car, my aunt lives out in Arizona and won a car playing poker machines. It was a hemi. Nice car!!! She sold it afterwards tho.. lol🚗🎆🚘👍😁
Noooo….the shower outside is SUPPOSED to be for people to rinse off in before they jump in the pool, therefore rinsing you of dirt, sweat and body chemicals before you jump in-keeping the pool cleaner for everyone. Sadly, Americans dont seem to enjoy this concept.

I loved looking at the waterfall in the lobby the most, that's my favourite 😊 However, I think I would be spooked by the shower, there was so many buttons for me, I have anxiety just looking at it. I don't get the middle room inside the bathroom for vanity use either when there's already double mirrors ? Great specification though, high quality, fantastic range. Probably worth £200-300

Great foyer. Love the room. The pool area so well designed. Incredible light show. Expensive but a very unique and novel place to stay. No I probably would not stay there. Thanks for the experience Tim.
Great video Tim. In addition to this hotel, the new Hard Rock that is being built in Vegas (that is replacing the legendary Mirage) will also have a Guitar tower when it opens in 2027. The Hard Rock brand is actually returning to Vegas with this new hotel as the original Hard Rock hotel was bought by Richard Branson & became a Virgin branded hotel in 2019.
The Hard Rock at Universal Studios in Orlando was once a building shaped like a Guitar laying on its side! That was in the early 1990's. I have been down there in Hollywood but opted to see the Margaritaville at the beach instead. I will say that Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino there in Hollywood is quite amazing!
A very swanky looking Hotel Tim! A bit more comfortable than the Underwater Hotel! Amazing illumations inside the hotel & outside, stunning against the Skyline with the Guitar Shape all lit up in the night. The Guitar Tower must of been amazing. And this place was in Florida? I thought your room was nice but I was expecting a much more Guitar themed room🎸 Thought everything looked modern & fresh! The Balcony Shower made to fit 9 or 10 people looks amazing for an outside shower party on a hot day☀️😂 The only thing that didn't look nice was the view from your window. But definitely a smart & snazzy vibe to this Hotel.. I must mention last but not least the amazing massive Casino 😜 it looked very exciting!
The hotel lit up is spectacular but that view of the car park from the room reminds me of a few cheap hotels I went to as a kid! That place is absolutely perfect if you know a guitar freak though. Well done on figuring out the shower inside Tim! That would have had me beat. Am not sure about an outdoor shower though, surely dodgy people with a decent telescope could have a good nose from below!
That's a cool hotel. Lobby looks relaxing. Love that huge room. The bathroom and shower are top-notch. A big TV is always a plus to me. I probably wouldn't ever want to check out. They're supposed to be building a Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Charlotte, NC, an hour from me. I'll for sure be checking that out. Good video, as always. Thx
The best rooms there are in the Oasis Tower, Spa Building, which are 600 SQFT rooms and have swim-up suites. You made a great choice, as a prior Elite part of the slot club, I had many comped nights there. Very good Korea, Chinese, Japanese, & Steakhouse. The 24 hour café is nice too.
The price of the room per night seems a little to much for the off season, but during holiday's it's probably a bargain. It did cost a lot of money to build that Hotel ! The owners must be thrilled of it's success !😅

It's on Seminole Indian land. They have separate laws and their own police.
Here in Australia they have basically banned smoking in casinos completely I think (certainly on all the main gaming floors and stuff)

A smokey casino in Florida, pretty much my ideal of hell.
We were in a suite on the 10th floor about 2 weeks ago, there was a problem and the elevators were closed, it was 1:30 in the morning and people were collected all around the sofas by the pool entrance. I was leaving for work in the morning from the guitar so really needed to get upstairs to bed, they said, well you can wait down here with all the people or walk up, so yes, we had to walk 10 flights of stairs to reach our suite.

No, I don't think that I would want to stay there, I think I would be completely overwhelmed and would probably get myself lost! It was interesting to see it though, thanks Tim 😊
Thank you for taking us along to the guitar-shaped hotel. We’ve seen it from the road while driving to Key West and were curious about it. I’m glad to have seen inside, but I wouldn’t want to stay there, much too noisy.

I stayed in the original building 7 years ago, the pool and food was amazing but it stank everywhere of cigarettes sadly as most hard rocks smell amazing, but looking at it now looks amazing! Hope you get to stay at Margaritaville just up the road on the beach as that hotel is fabulous, food drink and entertainment! Rooms are lovely too with lovely views!

I’ve been to this hotel for a 3 day for the first time. It felt VERY Vegas and I’ve never been to Vegas. I loved it. Love the atmosphere. Love the food. Loved my room. Loved my stay. Would definitely go back.
The shower outside is used for when u lay outside and get hot, then u jump in the cold shower.
The room is kinda plain but that's what u expect from a casino hotel. Too many ppl steal things and that's why it's like that.
Also with winning the car, my aunt lives out in Arizona and won a car playing poker machines. It was a hemi. Nice car!!! She sold it afterwards tho.. lol🚗🎆🚘👍😁
Noooo….the shower outside is SUPPOSED to be for people to rinse off in before they jump in the pool, therefore rinsing you of dirt, sweat and body chemicals before you jump in-keeping the pool cleaner for everyone. Sadly, Americans dont seem to enjoy this concept.

I loved looking at the waterfall in the lobby the most, that's my favourite 😊 However, I think I would be spooked by the shower, there was so many buttons for me, I have anxiety just looking at it. I don't get the middle room inside the bathroom for vanity use either when there's already double mirrors ? Great specification though, high quality, fantastic range. Probably worth £200-300

It is the same in Las Vegas people can still smoke in the casinos/slots, i watch a channel and they showed it and American i asked how ( has i know you can't in shops and hotels) he said because they want the custom lol

Great foyer. Love the room. The pool area so well designed. Incredible light show. Expensive but a very unique and novel place to stay. No I probably would not stay there. Thanks for the experience Tim.
Great video Tim. In addition to this hotel, the new Hard Rock that is being built in Vegas (that is replacing the legendary Mirage) will also have a Guitar tower when it opens in 2027. The Hard Rock brand is actually returning to Vegas with this new hotel as the original Hard Rock hotel was bought by Richard Branson & became a Virgin branded hotel in 2019.

The Hard Rock at Universal Studios in Orlando was once a building shaped like a Guitar laying on its side! That was in the early 1990's. I have been down there in Hollywood but opted to see the Margaritaville at the beach instead. I will say that Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino there in Hollywood is quite amazing!

The hotel lit up is spectacular but that view of the car park from the room reminds me of a few cheap hotels I went to as a kid! That place is absolutely perfect if you know a guitar freak though. Well done on figuring out the shower inside Tim! That would have had me beat. Am not sure about an outdoor shower though, surely dodgy people with a decent telescope could have a good nose from below!
That's a cool hotel. Lobby looks relaxing. Love that huge room. The bathroom and shower are top-notch. A big TV is always a plus to me. I probably wouldn't ever want to check out. They're supposed to be building a Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Charlotte, NC, an hour from me. I'll for sure be checking that out. Good video, as always. Thx
The best rooms there are in the Oasis Tower, Spa Building, which are 600 SQFT rooms and have swim-up suites. You made a great choice, as a prior Elite part of the slot club, I had many comped nights there. Very good Korea, Chinese, Japanese, & Steakhouse. The 24 hour café is nice too.
I think the piped music would do my head in.
The price of the room per night seems a little to much for the off season, but during holiday's it's probably a bargain. It did cost a lot of money to build that Hotel ! The owners must be thrilled of it's success !😅
