My body better be interesting as hell when I roll up decomposing on a beach
Human bodies bloat up,and sometimes the feet fall off due to fish eating them,so you can now become

I’ll use make up if you want
Ong I wanna be misidentified as a hyper intelligent evolved dolphin species
Your body is already interesting to me 😏😏
I just hope E.L. Wallace finds you
A good saying for identifying unknown organisms; "If it's not a Owl, it's a probably a Basking Shark"
😂😂😂😂

Me for when seeing the third picture: That's a dolphin
"You'd have to be an idiot to not know what it is"
Me: clearly it's a dolphin
"Its a beaked whale"
Me: well shit
Yes n Yes same
Yes n i didnt even krow a thing called beaked whale existed
Yes n Yes same
Yes n Yes same 🤣🤣
I mean a beaked whale is also called a bottle nose whale and is related to the bottle nosed dolphin

Eh, I still say "dolphin" is close enough. :P

“Leg like clasping copulatory organs” it’s a SHARK PEEN
peen=accurate vernacular
When I was in marine biology in school, we were told by a visitor from a marine biology institute that, in most species, when their claspers get stiff, they spread apart much like someone making a peace sign with their fingers inside of a female shark the male flipped over, holding onto the now effectively paralyzed female, until he's ready to flip her back over, and flee, from a very angry lady fish
Just thought that was worth sharing.
Ahhh nope sharks are almost all circumcised
@@cam2351 it will now haunt me forever, can’t tell if it was a very bad thing to share or something that could very well be used to haunt others so i don’t suffer alone, also why were we observing sharks when they did that, privacy is still needed even with sharks /j

I really want this E.L. Wallace guy to become a running joke and overall blame for when stupid things happen. Just like Robert Walpole in Extra History.
I wonder who came up with E. L. Wallace, it was Walpole.
Yes lmao. Trey needs to bring EL Wallace back kek
Yes
It was E. L. Wallace
"Octopuses...octopi? Octopodes?"
Actually all three are correct; English is weird.
No
octopuses is correct
this is from merriam-webster's site
The three main plurals for octopus come from the different ways the English language adopts plurals. Octopi is the oldest plural of octopus, coming from the belief that Latin origins should have Latin endings. Octopuses is the next plural, which gives the word an English ending to match its adoption as an English word. Lastly, octopodes stems from the belief that because octopus is originally Greek, it should have a Greek ending.
Therefore all three are correct
Octopussy
Tyler Nilson
Octopus is not a Latin word, it’s Greek and there’s no believing about it. While „octo“ means „eight“ in both languages and „pus“ at least exists in both, it means very different things. „Octopus“ in Greek means „eight-foot“ (which is what an octopus is) while in Latin it would mean „eight-inflammation“. The Latin pus is where the English word „pus“ comes from. „Octopi“ is simply the result of pseudo-intellectuals trying to sound smart by applying Latin grammar rules to a foreign-sounding word without checking if it was actually Latin and proceeding to be smartasses about correcting the „peasants“ who used the completely valid anglicized plural „octopuses“. „Octopi“, unlike the other two, is linguistically wrong in every way, but because so many people ended up using it and feeling smart about it, they decided to call it a draw and say that none of the three versions is incorrect.
When will an E.L.Wallace wash up on a beach?
(Basking shark laughs evily)
Even if you don't know about bottlenose whale, that thing obviously looks like a dolphin. Sea serpent? What the heck.
I thought the same thing as well
@@pridefulnamelesshunter1145 Same here, my first thought was literally "wow, that's a big dolphin".
Gertrud Bondesson to be fair for some of the older ones, it’d be reasonable without the internet and tv that they may have never seen whales and dolphins or only seen at a distance, so when shown something strange decided to go to the story’s of sea serpents
RLCRAFT FLASHBACK
*OCTOPUSSIES*
I thought the same thing xD
Sounds like some hot hentai
search octopussy for some hentai games my dod
I thought of that in 6th grade and thought (what the fuck is wrong with me)
Why
You should start a podcast, I need more ACCURATE dinosaur podcasts that people actually put research into. Not only that but your voice is nice.
Trey's voice is sexy. 😩👌💦🔥
Now 4 years later, have you found what you were looking for? And if you have, mind sharing?
He was just on the it's probably not aliens podcast! Not at all the same thing but still
Oh YES! As much as I love unusual events and creatures, I HATE how they are constantly hailed as 'proof' of the supernatural, extraterrestrial, or unnatural. So much that I preemptively start rolling my eyes every time I hear about a 'monster' on the news that is always either a normal animal with mange or a waterlogged carcass that decayed to look freaky. As such I always adore a good, scientific explanation for the rare strange critter that pops up.
When you put the whale head on a picture of a human I didn't know how to feel. It was scary and funny at the same time.
+Robin Anwaldt
That's called uncanny.
that was literally the most scary thing in the video xD
I was like "Geez, thanks for the nightmares".
+Robin Anwaldt The music gave me a jumpscare.
Right?
I remember the "Montauk monster". I saw a photo and I was like... those are raccoon teeth. Those are raccoon paws. That's a raccoon. Nobody listened to me though :( I guess a bloated raccoon corpse is less exciting than a "monster".
No it’s a owl
I don’t remember raccoons having beaks
@@marileywegner It's not a beak. It's just the front of the skull, defleshed. The nose of most mammal skulls is kind of pointy and beak-like without the soft tissues.
@@Neogeddon It is an owl.
The same thing also happened to me in 2012 when I said to people the world is not ending…
"And therefore... Jesus...?"
Sounds even funnier out of context.

well it is basically a huge dolphin...

I mean they're visually similar, I don't blame you
i hoped at least 2 out of them to be a barn owl but science proved me wrong

Yes, but consider this: we have no way of knowing whether or not E.L. Wallace was a Barn Owl in disguise.
+balrogdahomie you just blew my mind

“A big boy indeed.”
I hear this kind of shit everyday but you have a way of saying it that makes it hilarious.

“60 meters is the length of Godzilla”

Well, that's the HEIGHT of SOME Godzillas
True the 1954 Godzilla was 50 m tall

He didn’t say that Godzilla himself was 60 meters long, he was using him to give scale.
@@Tareltonlives this comment might be 2 years old but who care your 10 meters off he was 50 meters
Basking sharks are the owls of the ocean.
My explanations:
Number 1: The head of the ten tailed beast that teleported only its head into our dimension by accident.
Number 2:A sauropod from avatar that went to the wrong dimension when it went through the spirit portal.
Number 3:A head of a dolphin, the body of a bird, the legs of an elephant and the tail of a whale to create a Dolirphale.
Number 4:Someone was really inspired by Dr Wu in jurassic world that he created his own hybrid of a walrus, a whale and a snake.

The third monster... I mean, I was like: "Ok, so the skin is still on so the head will look kinda like this before decomposition, the stomach is gone, its pretty big... Ok so: its a giant, fat, long dolphin right?"
I actually never heard of the beaked whales before, even though I have quite a lot of biology education. And it is funny, that someone would try to argue against it if they knew these fat, long dolphins exist :D Its extremely obvious, to the point that a person that didnt know it exists (like me) guessed what it is :D

Or basking shark.
Trey. Thanks to this video and the other, it has been taken into consideration that other animals can look completely different from what they originally were thanks to advance stages of decay past the bloated stage. A photo from the 80s (unsure if early or around the time DNA testing came into fruition) of, possibly, a decayed thylacine corpse popped up and looking at how it could be any number of animals thanks to the decay had got me thinking about this video. Thank you. You have helped myself, and many others, become a bit smarter with this bit of information.

Okay, so I live in Santa Cruz and I've never heard of this beached 'monster'. Probably because anyone who's lived in the bay would know a dolphin when they see one.

Next on cryptid profile: E. L. Wallace; the terror of Wall Street
E. L. Wallace or as he's known on the History channel... the first Ancient Astronaut Theorist... and the monster was an alien.
I remember finding a dead dolphin on the shores of Rancho Paloes Verdes, CA across from Catalina. It was myself (a 12 year old girl who was obsessed with cetaceans) and an 8 year old boy who identified it; the head was still attached and I could see the curved bottlenose but my creationist grandparents wanted to tell me it was a sea dragon from the bible.
