Amazing to be introduced to an artist who has already had TWO successful careers in different branches of the arts. It was a pleasure to watch Alan at work and a great lesson in allowing intuition and instinct to guide the brush-carrying hand just as much as we normally allow the thinking brain to guide it. Thanks to Graeme and crew (and Alan) for a fascinating and rewarding half hour. Best wishes, Brian.

Great show - love the stories about impressionism - and leaving room for the viewer.....nice.
Yes, I always try to leave room for the viewer by providing mystery, which in turn allows the imagination to do its thing.
