Little thing I've been doing for the volley into glider. You can jump out of the ending animation of the volley (right after the triple shot at the end) into the glider. Gets you to the glider and aerial shockwave arrow a bit faster then using a glider from the ground
One thing I would like to mention that most UA-camrs overlook for some reason is the "celestial anchor cheese" its basically the same as the glider but much faster and gives you insane mobility. It can also be used to animation cancel the volley. Hope this helps someone out there.
i did the same thing on my staff a few days ago and it changed the way i build my stacks cuz i can get a full gauge in 15 seconds for the strongest move in the game with it

Switched from cannon to bow can't wait to finish this build, would love to see a claw blade build!

i got a deaf ears talisman and i love it. starting off a fight with a volley of arrows worth my whole stamina bar is nice. also works great for nodachi. full charge attack to start the fight
Human path is good for the Winter Wolf side of bows/weapons. They get the One Stroke: Critical which would add to the critical percentage. Kemono side would have to check what gets One Stroke: Fury to add to damage, whether its on the weapons or just armor skills.
I personally go right side tree for Yashima Bow for Destruction Art. Follow the same path otherwise and just replace Nocking Marvel. You should never be manually loading your bolsters unless you're out of thread. Celestial Anchors provide movement as well as the same loop the Glider gives you but in a fraction of the time. Jump with anchor shoot, haya vollet, dodge, otoya shot, repeat.
This game is just so amazing and fun, too bad there is performance issues with some people. I'm playing it just fine, and it's one of the best game i've played, I love it even more than MHW and Rise

Also you call it a "shallow buggy mess", but i haven't had a single bug while playing it. And it's far from shallow, it has a very good amount of content and character customization, the weapon building system is great, maps are very beautiful, and the karakuri system is incredibly fun.

It's definitely better then world already,rise idk,because I haven't done sunbreak yet since that doesn't release till spring for me.but world? I feel like trying to fit in the faster draw speed from the far left side of the tree is probably worth dropping fusion reaper for, if it's possible to get all the others also. That level 2 draw time is tricky to squeeze in sometimes, but with 45% faster draw it would be easy to use it whenever.
I will say the element system in this game is similar to MH where fast weapons do way more dmg with elements compared to slow weapons with elements. So u def want a bow to go with a monsters weakness while getting crazy skills
phemeto did comparaison of elemental bow, crit bow and raw dmg bow ... and the raw bow came on top ... and this game it's too hard to have one final perfect bow for all elements ... would be grinding for months only for an incremental in dmg which isnt worth it for the endgame content
also question moxsy it might be a bit out of the way but the sapscourge bow inherited is right there wouldnt replacing one of the 2 broken beast be better for 18% on part break

As a speedrunner (I honestly should post outside discord lol) and friends of a few who use bow as their mains the extra extreme archery while NOT BAD is just kind of overkill and missing out on use of desperation which gives a percentage increase over savage point increase which helps out when it comes to dealing with the deeply monsters but regardless love the build and love the idea behind it and that you are really having fun with the game hope to see more of your ideas that may suprise us!
@@gataugelap965 that's where ya lost me I dont do the lantern/celestial loop (though it is pretty fun swinging around taking air shots). Off the top of my head they like using the blaze bow mythical bird which comes from emberplume with desperation and extreme archery but could be wrong since I dont really keep their build memorized like that. Desperation though is a must have for any endgame damage (you COULD not use it and still do okay but you'll get the most out of weapons with it tbh) the other skills would have to ask them for unless they made a video on it already Armor wise was we were diverse a bit too but cut throat gauntlets and garuda chest will be your staples for the added desperation and stamina aid (since deeply vio monster fights give you 1 life self control is always activated so besides your regen with lantern you have it to help out too)
The Emberplume bow is better, with better inherent skills. It also allows our build to knockdown with our combos easier. Just pick up all three Broken Beast upgrades on the way. Picking up a Final Blow would work well too.
This is not true at all lol. The skills on Emberplume suck because even with Speed Shooter the single bolster haya is just objectively worse than the volley. Even worse is the second skill which relies on using the single bolster Otoya shot which is again, the inferior option. In no world is the emberplume bow better which is why virtually nobody uses it lol.
Dog Star Bow Is the inherited skill from Dog Star Bow: Follow through = each crit gives you +2 stamina Is this worth it to get for the hover+shoot+volley spam? Does the volley last longer if you are constantly critting and getting back +2 stamina for each crit? Just trying to figure out a bow build

I know i'm gonna sound like I'm ranting lol but I struggle so much to put proper DPS in without spamming karakuris with that weapon. I go from a 10min Hunt with the bow (and I didn't have your tricks in my sleeve) from a 20-30 min with a Nodachi of the same rank against a lavaback. I just can't seem to find any good openings. It's really annoying. Anyway nice video !
they did a patch regarding higher end cpu utilization but still seems most people didnt get much improvement, though some people seem to not realize how much their cpu is bottlenecking their gpu too DX (its obviously bad optimization but some people have like a 3070ti and a 2700x :s )

Well, informative video but far from the "best bow build". Hitting resonating arrows for 355 meanwhile mine goes for 487 without consumable on dummy. Reached a point where I one/two tap all mighty monsters and volatiles gets 3-4 tapped (tap as in otaya full draw). I don't get kill time above 20-30 secs anymore but the the 7 stars hunts around 1min-1min30 top. Anyway props to you for giving insight to the gamers not fancying theorycraft. Nonetheless, this best build remain FAR from actual best (even I don't got the bonkerest talismans at the moment).
@@OctagonCookies my build evolved a bit since then. I'm reaching over 550 now, yet still not the "best bow build"... Weapon is the same, more complex path. I get desperation 15%, tiger's den 5, screaming arrow 15. Damages from equipment: solar protection 5%, desperation 14, slight of hand fury 10 and savage 3. From talisman 8% desperation, slight of hand fury 6, solar protection 2. Droping a mere box before throwing otawa max bolstered for extra 16% damage boost on explosions. Further boosted if bothered through meat for ~+9% attack boost. . . And this can go further with better talisman, tinkering more with food, maybe another weapon . . . (Elemental weapons would be stronger but a hassle to make and target restricted) So yeah, 355 vs 550+ makes this "Best bow build" very far from the best. The false advertisements of YT titles are obnoxious. Ps: you have to face deeply volatile kemonos with your stones. Not just the volatiles. (Answering your other post)
@@OctagonCookies yeah this build isn't that good. He's just stacking 3 or 4 volley before explosion which is unrealistic, I solo golden tempest 48s which is more hp pools than lavaback and amaterasu.

I don’t recommend the arms or the legs, quick draw doesn’t stay up for long at all but I do recommended spore tails arms they’re very useful.

Celestial Anchor is 10x better than the arrow and you’re missing a ton of damage. I kill Volatiles faster than you’re killing Mighty.

@@OctagonCookies yeah this build isn't that good. He's just stacking 3 or 4 volley before explosion which is unrealistic, I solo golden tempest 48s which is more hp pools than lavaback and amaterasu.
So lame everyone is playing bow because its broken op -.-
