I just picked up one of these yesterday. Regardless of battery life which is everyones biggest gripe about it, its impressive for it's small compact size.
You can take the safety thing off it and it doesn't like cutting with the top of the bar. I work for Asplundh Tree and honestly it's very quickly taking the place of my handsaw. It's an awesome tool.
Excellent ....👌I have 8 Miles of trails to clear And 6 miles of fence to clear yearly . Packing a larger saw or pole saw is aggravating . I usually use loper's . But that little thing would be perfect for pinky to thumb size limbs. Great video 👍 outdoor glitter lady
Great video. I have had one of these for the last several months, and have found it to be incredibly useful. I am now using it almost all the time I would normally use a hand saw. A second battery and chain were my first additional purchases. Mineral oil which is inexpensive can be substituted for the oil that comes with it.
I bought this saw when it first came out. I heard that Stihl stopped making them when the pandemic hit so you can't even get batteries or parts for them. Now the Chinese make a ton of them. I bought one on Amazon for $35 US and it came with two 20V batteries, two chains and a hard case - something that Stihl should have included instead of that crappy bag. The Chinese saw actually cuts better than the Stihl and the battery lasts a lot longer. These are great for one-handed pruning or cutting off low hanging branches when mowing.
Yes I was given a cheap one from Amazon for Christmas with two batteries and it’s awesome, so decided to invest in this Stihl thinking it would be even better, pity it wasn’t made with 20v batteries… it will be interesting to compare the longevity of the two brands. As a lady garden professional over 70 I’m soooo glad to have these in my extensive garden tool collection.
Maybe I buy one for my nephew, 4 years old...I don't think her mother will be ok with this. I wonder a world with more girl/woman power in all kind of work, you are one of them and I am proud to support your project with subscription and like. Good work and life 🤟 keep rocking.
I think It's good machine butIt's a little sad that the engine saw itself doesn't have a dedicated vegetable(for chain) oil tank. Good job and nice day from S. Korea
The "👍🏼" has to be pressed as soon as the cartoon part with the song starts!!! Love the little axes!! I've put it to test , it's a good and funny thing but if you have to cut a long piece or you do it in 3 cuts or someone has to hold it because it's quite slow at cutting and because of the protection you can only cut from up to down so in some cases you damage the tree and have to do another cut. But it's funny. Nice video
I don't understand any of the Danish, but it was amazing to listen to! Disappointed that you didn't unbox it using a full size chainsaw, I think I've been spoilt by watching too many tool reviews by AvE!
I've had mine for a week and it is very handy in many ways. Replacement chain is supposed to be $14 still haven't been able to get one. I do have the 1/8" file for it, but I like the 5/32" better.
To "techy" for my liking. I'm sure it cost a fortune too. I rather carry a small MS 170 or a Husqvarna 120. It does look handy though, I just don't like the aerospace look of it.
@@Femalelumberjack I can't see it being used professionally without an oiling system, you know if a normal saw runs out of oil the chain soon tightens up. Perhaps they'll bring out a pro version with oiling, a decent battery and without that silly guard!
I gave one to my nephew. Big mistake! He's only 8, Wow was i in hot water. Yes he has all his fingers and toes. I guess i should have got him some safety pants first though. Shaken up but otherwise fine. I will give it back to him when he turns about 12 or so.
Who else died a little inside when she couldn’t stop laughing at the 4” bar lol
So cute and tiny!

I watched the Danish version too and didn't understand a word 🤣
Love the wee battle axes.
Very handy bit of kit to have in the van 👍🏻

Nice saw. Good warning about its dangerous aspects: it's not a toy!
I bet its the first time she's been that impressed with one so small 🤣

My 6 year old son loved it! Nifty little saw.

Excellent stuff, the bits I could understand :)
I like it! Seems perfect for a lot of the tree clean up work I have to do.
Love any size Stihl saw🧡🖤🧡🖤

@@elunedwoo I'm a senior as well. If you don't already have one, take a look at the battery powered pruning shears, I love mine.
Surprising how well it cut, I am surprised you used it to cut the tabletop!

Eric Bonini still can cut a finger off easily.
I think I need to machine one of those bars to fit my 462

Is it worth the money because I was thinking about getting one for Bush removal
Ok, I just talked to you on Facebook and now I'm watching it! Lol!

Tetszik nagyon!😊
Hi. Is it posible to just unmount och brake off the top cover? Or would it not work without it? Ps: thumbs up for the swedish flag. 👍
I was thinking the same thing on safety. I saw you doing two handed operation.
Aww even comes with a baby scabbard, how cute hehe
Another excellent review
Love your video i must go get a couple of these 🧡😉
Thanks
I have a second battery and a 230V powerbank to recharge the battery outdoors. That way I can work with it for hours.
What you think about stihl 170
rudinoid I haven’t tried it yet
Looks like a bit of a toy first of all but after seeing it in use it’s a very capable little saw
I just noticed your tiny little axes to the right of the screen
Now that's a cute little thingy there.

Macca Green haha I should have done that 😉
I love your jacket
Dexter would have loved this🪓

Chain was $12.95. Still trying to get some extra batteries for it.
That's pretty awesome
That's awesome I want one . 😁👍

That is for taking time to comment Richard, you’ve really helped me in my decision making.
10:54 just simply cut the guard off.
How excited are you it’s a baby chainsaw 😊
The bar seemed to grow bigger the more you played with it..😉
It's small but, very busy.
You say the saw is cute....may I say you are very cute and adorable
All hand saw manufacturers are sweatin now
That tool needs to have a class added to the timbersports. Think it could hold it's own against the MS500i?? haha
Like 🙋🏻♀️ 😍 😍 🤗 🤗
It's the 500i's little baby sister!!!
Danish version is awesome! Wish I could speak it lol.
So what is it? A kitchen appliance!? Hahahahaha, just joking. That thing looks so handy! ...gota get one for my ma.

Well done sweet girl.Very nice video.

Why doesn't this have onboard oiling?
Probably to keep it lightweight and compact

Put an 18" bar and a full skip chain. It'll rip. No doubt.
OMG! Chainsaws and beautyfull women...this must be heaven😍😁😉
cute
Nice video.. you are super cute 😊
Thanks ☺️
That bar is at least 12inch
10:15 you look cute with your hair up and you have a cute laugh

Jajaja esa es el bebé de las motosierra Stihl.
Ha ha the manual is bigger than the saw.
Cute, Perhaps I will by my wife one for her Birthday! ( Not)

Ain't it cute in its little bag!, I just cant get over that 2stroke smell, sorry battery
Hej :-) ifølge arbejdtilsynet skal man bruge skærebukser ved fældning beskæring afkvistning mm , så det er jeg ret sikker på det :-) :-)
