Thank you Brother 👊. I absolutely love the sound of paddles 😱😍. Music to my ears all day. I wish I was closer to some dunes, but am grateful to live near Folsom Lake. It's gorgeous with tons of space to have fun 🍻
I've had really good luck with the Traxxas paddle tires. 12s hasn't ripped them apart in snow or on the water. Probably one of the best tires I've owned personally Great vid with that big beast!!💯🔥💥🚀
Wow, is all I can say superb session at the lake Rich if that does not give you inspiration I don’t know what will love the paddles and you can definitely tell you were in a lake. I’m pretty sure I seen quite a few dried up fish beds pot hole city Sucks about the damages, but I can see that happening going all out into a little rock is not good with that heavy rig. And that infraction paint job was tits whoever painted that did an awesome job especially for his first one. Wish I could make it to Folsom Lake for that RC fest that would be awesome. I look forward to your videos maybe one of these years I can get over there for one if work ever allows me Awesome video again Rich definitely made my day 💯🚀✌️👊
Eye protection needed 😂. I didn’t know that s what the sound was at first . I thought it was the controller and was wondering what the heck what you were doing. Them tires fling some sand 😂
Eye protection 100% Brother 😂. My face was getting hammered with sand and granite chunks from well over 50 feet away. Paddles on big power is friggin nuts!!! You definitely feel it. 🍻
Thank you Brother 🤗. I'm running Vitavon bulkheads with aluminum diff cups and stock internal gears. I went over the Mega Kraton details better in previous vids. She's also running M2C Racing Mega outdrives and cvd driveshafts. They're way bigger than stock.
Awesome sends! Hey thanks for the advice on first mods for the v6 exb kraton i asked about in your previous vid. Ordered my v6 kraton a couple of days ago. Been wanting one for years (mostly after watching your vids ) finally pulled the trigger! I have 2 more questions lol. What is a good starting point shock oil setup , and diff weight setup i the 6s kratons? And what batts do you recommend? (Also if you prefer single 6s or duel 3s) thanks in advanced!
Thank you Brother 🤗. The stock shock oil is likely 80 weight or 1000cst. It's actually quite nice depending on ambient temps. 100 weight is great if you want more dampening. I believe the V6 comes with emulsion style bladders caps like the EXB version. 80 weight might be perfect, depends on personal preference. I typically run 50/500/20k front to rear diffs. My preference is open style diffs. That means I replace the LSD plates (friction plates that often come in the EXB style center diff) with the 2 large washer shims from the ARRMA diff shim kit. You can run 500k center with LSD (limited slip diff) if you like it. I find the LSD diff feels like a turbo charged car with inherent spool lag. Just not my thing really. I say run your V6 bone stock. If you like it, run it as is before adjusting the diffs or shocks. From there you can experiment with different tuning.
That was my ARRMA Mojave Grom (2s converted to 3s). They have released a 3s RTR version since I modified mine that I'd recommend. It comes with their all metal diff option.
So what did you say your gearing was? I’m only asking because when the max4 first came out, I had it in a K8 exb with a castle 800kv geared 30/39, and I don’t remember the exact speed, but I know it was faster than 60.
So you like live in the perfect RC landscapes! i kinda hope you have to travel at leaste a little ...lol jk. seriously tho south eastern AZ sucks unless you are into crawlers... definently NOT a 2,3,or even 4s bash landscape & i know i know the Mohave is a built for desert basher ...come run it in the catus and lava rock then tell me all about it.. I need to move because of this damn channel RC bashers are taking over my budget and i dont even care! Fuck It Maybe SoCal is good for something after all LMFAO!!! Kidding CA ..love Ya OUT
I'm near Sacramento in Placer County and yes I do have to drive to my bash spots, but usually no more than 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. It gets around 105-110F here in the summer, but not Palm Springs or Arizona hot 😱. I feel ya about finding good terrain my friend and am grateful to have some super cool spots in my area. We've lost several due to development in recent years too.🍻
The sound those paddles make is just awesome
The sound by the pass is amazing 😮
_Why no Vitavon shocks?_
Love the whine/hum from the sand paddles❤😁. As someone who used to live (and bash) in the desert it definitely is music to the ears👍!

“Maybe traxxas got something right” 🤣
LMFAO 😂. Gotta throw Traxxas a bone every few years. 🍻
Amazing rigs! Awesome session!
Thanks so very much Brother!!! 🍻

Thank you Brother 😂. That summed it up pretty accurately 🤣🤙🤙

What is this blue short course truck??

Hi Richy I am looking at getting the best basher what do you think is the best basher out there right now. Thank for any info you can help with
I still think the Kraton 6s EXB RTR and Outcast 8s EXB RTR are the best bashers straight out of the box for their scale. 🍻
I was thing of the 8s kraton but you say the 6s is the best basher over the 8s version?
are you running the stock servo saver?
Yes indeed. Stock saver with a Hobbystar 6912 Brutal Torque 70kg servo on 8.4V. I've ran them for 5 years in all my 8s rigs with zero issues.
@ thanks

42/39 gearing with the 70125 560kv. You have to over gear it to wake it up, but the torque is fairly ridiculous.
