This is a great story. He had a lot of nice and classy jewelry!!! He knew what he wanted and had great taste! 👍 And that TCB ring probably had a great brilliance to it! ⚡️⚡️⚡️✨️✨️✨️
Always a Humartarian who cared more for Others than himself, Elvis truly had a Heart ❣ Of Gold, And was a true Christian and had more warmth in his heart to other,s than for himself, A true gentleman and the Greatest performing Artist And Voice the world has ever had, A true Gift from God , God Bless you Elvis Presley for the Great Music you performed and Best Entertainer in the Early Years Of Vegas the World A’s ever seen , at his pinical with the Hawaii Special, and Madison Square Garden performances
The TCB ring that Lowell Hays sells looks nice, it is a lot better than what other businesses are passing off. My question concerns the claim, since it comes with the "certificate of authenticity" card from Lowell claiming that his replica is the original size and from original molds; when his replica is smaller when compared to the original made for Elvis. A video from Graceland archives demonstrates this best. The lady pulls the ring out of storage and holds it up to the camera. Elvis' ring is wider and the lightening bolts are different. ua-cam.com/video/D8GSKh-Grro/v-deo.htmlsi=gCGI3l1XGvxnslue
Everyone that commented on this video is shaming Mr. Lowell for receiving payment from Elvis for the ring he had gotten made after the others wound up not being what he really wanted .. where you there? no ... was i there? no .. so why assume Mr. Lowell asked Elvis to pay him back for the ring? Elvis was a nice guy from what i have heard from footage of people who knew him.. So i'm pretty sure Elvis was happy to give Mr. Lowell the amount the ring was worth back to him because he cared about him... As some of you shaming Mr. Lowell for asking for his white Mark 2 .. Instead of accepting a brand new car from a dealership there is nothing wrong with what he did its not like Elvis only had one car..
@@Rock4UNow Why not? Elvis paid everybody else for what they did for him. This guy is a jeweler and a businessman and spent money on the gold and the diamonds used to make the ring. Why would you not want to be reimbursed for the materials used?? It’s not like Elvis couldn’t afford it.
IT SURE IS, MOSTLY AS MUCH AS ELVIS PAID FOR JUST ONE RING, IT ALL COMES TO MONEY, ELVIS WAS A GREAT GIVING MAN LOVING PERSON NEVER CARED ABOUT MONEY, I WOULD MUCH RATHER HAVE ELVIS STILL HERE, THAN ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD
@@kelliintexas3575 I almost think that 11 carat diamond must not have been of a very high quality. Even back then, $35,000 seems low for a ring with an 11 carat solitaire.
Shamelessly asks Elvis for his own personal car! Then Braggs about how Elvis Still Paid for the ring! Bloody Disgusting! Sharks take advantage of the ones close to you!
Lowell Hayes did you also make the Elvis Presley TCB sunglasses for all his sunglasses you made for him as well I know the TCB ring that you made for Elvis was $75,000 as sure as a lot of money Elvis that's the way it is now
ianroady I was thinking the same exact thing! here the greatest performer in the world offers you a brand new car, and then to have the audacity to ask for his car, and then to still charge him for the ring?????? I mean if he didn't charge Elvis a penny just the amount of business he would receive just saying he was Elvis's Jewler.......... no class.

Love that story! The part about seeing it under the chandelier!
Elvis was a class act as they said in those days. He lived life like there was no tomorrow.
Love the reference to Sammy Davis Jr just brilliant!!
Josh Charlie if I’m not mistaken he gave it to him at one point.
We love You Mr. Hay’s and wish you many more years of success in your life and business I pray God’s richest blessings upon You and Your family
I spoke to him last year and after I ordered 3 TCB necklaces and 1 TLC, I said, Merry Christmas..lol
Thanks I love Elvis stories ❤💙💕🙏🎵🎸🥁🎷🎹

Your right
I wouldntve accepted the car. I think payment for the ring would've been enough
Marie
Same here. I wouldn't of taking the money for the Ring.

1959 Cadillac Eldorado pink in color please for mama.
So J.D. got the Aloha horseshoe ring, I always wondered where that ring ended up.
Wow i would have not cherged him neither a car is more expensive than a ring....

TCB?
Taking Care of Business in a flash.
How much Elvis paid for TCB ring?
The ring was $35k then. A 3bed 2 bath 2400sq ft home was $18K at the time.
It has a 11ct center stone!

He had all his sunglasses made at a place in California called Optique Boutique :)

WAS NOT RIGHT, AFTER ALL THE MONEY ELVIS MADE FOR THIS MAN, ELVIS BUYS HIM A CAR AND HE CHARGES ELVIS FOR A RING, TALK ABOUT GREETY
You don't get it
Mike Wright 👎👎👎
If you knew anything about E he always paid for the work someone else done. He believed in honor.
That’s not greedy. Do you think this jeweler got the diamonds and the gold for free?? The one large diamond would bankrupt most people.
Oh man he gave you a car and u charged him for the ring mm :)
