for some reason i think what makes this trick unique the string is made out of tire material very thin the sticky material got to ve like cemment glue and thats how you make it to perform it is a whole different story.
Very nice execution! Looked awesome! I especially like the card thrown around the body! You need a lot of practice so it looks smooth, and not like you are jerking a card around on a string.
the part where he makes the card levitate is he puts wax on end of string and puts on ear and attaches to card, so it looks like its levitating, to make it go up, you move your hand close to the card, vice versa.
I've seen the card trick done up close and it's an amazing effect. I suspected it was done with thread and wax, but even so, it seemed as if what was being done couldn't be done with thread. Really great trick.

hey dont use clay and candle wax, just use tooth wax, im pretty sure thats all they use, plus its safer. you can find it at one of those Halloween costume stores
i used to have the mysteriy ufo works on the same way but one perfected it looks amazing. the string i used was kevla so it was strong at first i did not think i had any string with it intill i red the instructions lol
It wouldn't be flexible enough. Just go to a fabric place that sells sewing stuff and ask for invisible thread. It's not expensive...wouldn't have a clue of where to find magicians wax though

Holy crap...this kit is freaking $120! Oh hell no! Forget my last comment. I'll do what someone else said...Walmart string. I'll use clay and candle wax mixed together for the adhesive.
