I was asking the same questions. Why isn't this available in all countries to help crime rates but, its understandable unfortunately everyone is different. As much as the program helps there would be that 1% out there trying to copy and legal matters make it worse. This is a great program though :)
The only fault I found with the show was something my parents pointed out when they watched it during its airing time. Most of the people who reported seeing the crime or seeing the culprit were people who had partly been blackmailed by the murderer. So if anything if the crew, station anyone was to accidentally leak the names of the people no matter the number who phoned in, they’d be in a lot of danger specially during the 1990s as my parents remember a lot of crime being prominent in korea. Not a lot to create mass fear but enough that there was a show about it. That’s the only fault my parents found with it. It's quite common, I would say most countries (including mine, Singapore) have such shows. But I think this was relatively new content in the 1990s even in the US, since mass market TV hadn't been invented for that long.

She said is almost, and is true, DNA still is the most reliable to identify someone in a crime scene. Doesn't mean is the culprit because then you need a way to prove why they where there and when.
Olivia, she was involved in many real cases in South Korea. You and i who only had watched some Criminal Minds or CSI episodes can sit down calmly at home.

They probably took the idea from an American show, because I remember watching two or three shows that had the same exact content when I was younger
@CookiesTriedToEatMe they're pretty common. The Netherlands has had one since 1975, Germany has an even older show. The UK has one, too.

She right about dna. The problem dna can be manipulate. Thats why investigator dont use only one single evidence.
