- Director/producer Otto Preminger appears as a contestant in an unusual segment from a 1965 episode of "To Tell the Truth". Since Preminger was of course known to the panelists, he and the two impostors are masked and their voices electronically altered, and the panel listens through headphones.
The impostors are interesting too, but I'd rather not spoil the fun by revealing their names here. I suggest you watch and see.
Host is Bud Collyer and the panelists are Tom Poston, Peggy Cass, Orson Bean, and Kitty Carlisle.
Johnny Olsen wasn't the announcer on the daytime version?

Oh, that gives me the original date! Thanks.
Do you have this particular episode in it's entirety, and if so could you please post it?
It looks like Henry Morgan fooled the panel again, though not totally as he did on a previous episode (and he was wearing a mask on that episode as well). Interesting to see Mark Goodson as an imposter in this episode. Sadly, from the date, this episode aired either before, during, or after WHAT'S MY LINE panelest Dorothy Kilgallen suddeny passed away.
She was found in the morning...this show aired that night at 7:30 PM ET.
@@tomservo56954 I thought it was on a Monday. To Tell the Truth at night was on Tuesdays
@@witherblaze It was Mondays
7:10 Which Bill Barr are they talking about? Obviously not Trump's AG.
This was great fun!
So this was the weird episode of To Tell The Truth I saw a clip of in a video featuring TV shows on Monday nights in 1966. 😯
