The woman from Mexico only has a Spanish last name, her first name seems to be Indigenous
Some natives in the southern US have Spanish names, just as some natives in Canada have French names. There were instances of intermarriage since contact.

Her Wikipedia page says she was born in Canada, so #3 was right, although through videos, in 2020, I knew it was #1 UPDATE: Her Wikipedia page says the following "Buffy Sainte-Marie was born at the New England Sanitarium and Hospital in Stoneham, Massachusetts" She is still alive, and on February 20, 2023, she celebrated her 82nd birthday.
