Welcome back. Luxury buses between the two countries is not a new thing though. In the early days, aeroline was a brand name but now many brands have appeared. Aeroline still ply between kl and singapore. It is unfortunate malaysia cancelled the high speed rail project due to some constraints brought about by covid19 and political change of gov. The estimated travel time using the proposed hsr was 90 minutes between kl and singapore . We hoped that in the near future a big private company can fund it.

I've just been warned that clearing customs in KL airport is now a nightmare because of some concorse or something being shut down and wont be open for a year or so. That's why I am exploring alternatives. This luxury bus from Singapore seems to be a good alternative.
Hi :) Thanks so much for the kind words!! We only have one more Malaysia video and then we share our Sri Lanka ones :) But we know we will be back to Malaysia many times to see more! Thanks so much for watching!!
Thanks for the info. Was scouring the internet looking for where the bus stop is actually for those going from Kuala Lumpur to Malaysia. In front of the mall ✔️
Thanks so much for this great video. We are heading to Singapore and Malaysia in November 2024 and want to visit Malacca where l lived 55 years ago. A question please, where did you stay in KL please as I could not find a link and it looks perfect.
Lovely video, Aimara & Gordon. Just a quick question: Did you need to fill out any online forms prior to entering Malaysia? Something like SG Arrival Card? Thanks!
Honestly, we don't really remember. But I'm pretty sure everyone needs to fill out the SG arrival card before entering, no matter whether you enter by bus/car or plane.
You have to be back in Malaysia or Singapore in 2027. In 2026 Electrified Double track train between Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru will be completed. Whilst connecting Rapid Transit System between Johor Bahru and Singapore is scheduled to be completed by end of 2026. So 2027 would be a perfect year for both of you to try out these new trains. High Speed Train (250-350 km/hr train) is also planned between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. The politics and finance talk between the country is yet to be concluded. Once this is done, then it will be your next trip to Malaysia/Singapore.
looks very comfortable, taking the bus to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore, more comfortable than taking a plane. How long does it take to take the bus from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur? greeting from England
An express bus will take about 4-5 hours, but of course it depends on traffic and border control. I think the bus we took has a different schedule than other buses, and border control was empty so we flew through. Cheers 🙌
Hey guys did you need to show proof of exit when you entered Singapore? Same question when you entered Malaysia, did they ask for a proof of return ticket or onward ticket?
Howdy, yea I'm pretty sure it's a requirement for SG. The entry is all digital, so I guess it was asked then. But honestly, I don't remember. For Malaysia I wasn't asked (US passport), my wife was asked (Venezuela Passport). I think it's best to be safe for both countries.
Thanks for this video, it's so informative and fun to watch! I'm thinking of going from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur by bus as well but I'm a bit concerned about the proof of onward travel that they might ask for when I'm entering Singapore. Is it enough proof of onward travel to have a bus ticket? Did you get asked for it when you came into Singapore?
Thanks so much for watching! ❤️ We didn't have our bus booked when we entered SG lol - but we did fly there from KL. They didn't really ask for anything, other than where we were staying and stuff like that... But it's better if you do have something booked! A bus ticket should count :)

Yea, in a sense we did a border run. Although we were visiting a friend in SG... It's not 30 days per calendar year, just 30 consecutive days. They did ask to see Aimara's onward ticket the 2nd time we entered, so there was a bit more scrutiny the 2nd time. I confirmed the 30 day thing with the Malaysian consular office in NY - here is a quote from their reply: "There is no definitive period as to how long you have to be out of the country. What matters the most is whether or not you will be able to convince the immigration officer at the entry points that you are re-entering Malaysia for tourism purposes. One week should be no problem for you to re-enter." I don't think Malaysia allows Visa extensions once you're there - here's their email, they were super prompt & helpful: newyork@imi.gov.my

Hi, Thanks for video. It's very informative.
I do have one question through. How much language is allowed per person?
Going through Malaysian customs & immigration is easier than going through Singaporean when going into Singapore. M is less strict than S.
