Don’t shorten your videos- there’s people wanting the information you are sharing. The advantage of watching UA-cam is we can watch the videos in segments if our life is too busy at the moment.

Lauren and Mark, seriously! There was so much great information shared here. Stuff that was obviously “ thinking outside the box”, like the capital building. It was very clear that you both have a knack for talking and expressing things in such a way it keeps folks interested. I’m super impressed. Well done!

We watched all of your cruise vlogs to prepare for our Alaska cruise, looking for ideas of things to do on our own in the ports outside of the ship excursions we already had booked. We cancelled our ship excursion entirely and booked with Jayleen’s Alaska the moment we finished this one and I am so glad we did! Yesterday was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had and we never would have found it without you. Thank you for making such excellent content!

We took an Alaskan cruise in May. We watched all your videos and I want to thank you for the recommendation to use Jayleen’s whale watching tour. Our ship had propulsion issues that lead to missing one port and glacier bay and got us into Juneau later than planned. Jayleen was so awesome and made room for us on a later excursion. She was so friendly when she picked us up. She wasn’t out Captain, but Jim(?). Did a wonderful job. We saw so many whales, even saw one breech. It was amazing.

This is one of the coolest things I’ve seen in my Alaskan videos. I’m from Florida and never would have thought about snorkeling in Alaska. Beautiful to see them in the water undisturbed in their natural state. ❤️

My wife and I went on the 7 day cruise. It was amazing! The best part was being left off on a glacier for 2 hours! Hiking on a glacier with crampons on exploring the sides- called I think lateral moraines and the blue holes to nowhere- don’t fall in! Great video you two!

Juneau's beautiful. I loved seeing the gift shops. I could almost feel your excitement while whale watching. Jayleen was wonderful! Great photography! Loved seeing Mark & his friend snorkeling. Loved the Starfish. The Eagles were amazing fishing. You saved the best for last Lauren. The Humpback Whale in the fountain was beautiful!

I know I’m watching a few months after the fact but, I wanted to write this anyway. I am an avid collector of indigenous art. With every visit to Alaska, I’ve purchased Inupiat face masks by Charlene Killbear. Each piece is created using fox, beaver, seal…any number of skins and furs…for each piece. They are beautiful and unique. Thank you for sharing your trip, it’s an incredible reminder of why I love Alaska.

Back when I lived in Juneau before moving to the interior I would take that trail on mount roberts to the lookout area when I felt like hiking but also lazy at the same time so I could get a coffee halfway up the mountain and then take the tram down if I didn't feel like going all the way back down the trail. Also, don't be fooled the mountain. Roberts' tram is still amazing in the rain as well.

We are going on an Alaskan cruise in August from Seattle and I sure hope to find the sun as you have on your trip. I love your UA-cam vlogs. I have watched hundreds of video's preparing for our cruise and yours are far and away the most enjoyable. You are showing parts of the Alaskan ports all of the others don't touch upon. I have been freeze drying for over a year now, if you have any questions let me know. I have recently freeze dried Halibut I caught last year out of Seldovia and it is a huge success. Keep vloging and we will keep watching .

    Good Afternoon Hamm Family ❤️
I'm slowly catching up... can't wait to see what you have in store 🙂
Juneau... another day of fun in the sun... beautiful... just beautiful. 66°F and sunny... my kind of weather. Have I mentioned how beautiful the scenery is 🏞️
The Eagle dinner bell has been activated 🦅
The meals and goodies on the ship look yummy. Looking forward to that video. Slowly, but surely, catching up 🍔
It's so interesting to learn about and see the history of the native people/tribes of Alaska: stories, culture, art, goods, foods, etc 🛖
All the ways to see and explore the area are awesome and seem like fun. The tram sounds fun and the weather is perfect for viewing 🚡
Again, the Totems... beautiful. The Sealaska Heritage Institute looks and sounds interesting. Definitely a site to explore 🧭
Shops, shops and more shops. I love buying from the small local shops, especially those that specialize in only one or a few products... Family owned are even better. Loved the fudge shop. When we travel, if there's a fudge shop, we're buying. Mmm 😋
Avalanche vs Hurricane - differing water forms, both destructive. I pray everyone involved was and is okay 🙏
Wait... was he playing a xylophone? He caught me off guard to 🎶
I love museums: the art, history, artifacts, wildlife and way of life of the people... everything. Glad to hear the Eagles are safe and flourishing in Alaska. An 8ft wing span is very impressive. I'm sure some human parents would love to monitor their troublesome teens from a distance. Mom and Dad are like, "it's time for you to fly the coop." 🪺
I love that you and Mark are comfortable going on separate adventures, enjoying different things. My Mark is an extrovert, a social butterfly. He's comfortable with just about anything. I'm an introvert with extrovert tendencies. I don't mind doing separate activities, if it's something that really interest me, but I will admit my anxiety definitely kicks in, taking me awhile to reach a comfortable level of interaction... at least until my "too much socialization or interaction" alarm goes off... then, I'm tapping out 🚨
Whale watching is so much fun. We've gone twice. Once was uneventful, but for some dolphins and seals. The other was awesome: humpback and right whales, dolphins and seals: beautiful and majestic. One thing everyone needs to learn is that wildlife and sealife rock to their own beat, not according to we pesky humans. The Humpback Whale Fountain was amazing... with the infinity pool and mountain scenery, it made it that more stunning 🐳
That's it, you married a fish. Mark is definitely a fish. Who needs the little mermaid when you have Mark - no singing crustaceans nor evil aunts permitted nor required. I'm glad he and Juan had a great time 🐟
Another beautiful and fun adventure. Thank you for taking me along. Yah's Blessings ❤️

What a great video!! There’s a few places we missed especially the humpback whale statue in the infinity pool. We will definitely check it out when we go back to Juneau. Thank you for sharing. Awesome video 👍👏👏👏👍

You were so very blessed to have such great weather. I’ve been watching another UA-cam vlogger who went on a cruise shortly after you and their weather was rainy and cold. They were prepared though and still were very positive and had a great time.

Am loving your videos and reliving our Alaskan cruise from last year, June 22-29. We also were sooo fortunate to have the same weather you had, even in Ketchikan where they told us the temps on our day was breaking a record!!!! Seeing so many Alaska cruise videos lately makes me want to go again! Those who went in May when snow was still on the ground - beautiful!!

I LOVED this Alaska Cruise series of videos! Love all the details of each port. We were celebrating a college graduation on the same cruise itinerary in Sept. 2025. I took notes to go to many of the sites, shops and restaurants you experienced. Loved seeing past Gov Sarah Palin’s Capital office building. I had no idea eagles were so much larger in Alaska than in our area in PA.
    Thank you!

New subscriber here, I have truly been enjoying your videos from each port of your Alaskan cruise. Not only is the scenery beautiful but your explanations of everything that you point out to your viewers is amazing. You teased in one of your videos about the guy telling you about the glaciers with the peaceful voice saying "this is Alaska, and this is what you're here for" well, you have that pleasant voice too and that is probably why I hit the subscribe button. Hubby & I sail to Alaska in 42 more days...I am so excited!
