That's amazing that the wood changed that drastically with just a vinegar/steel wool concoction. I love it 👍 And get that cat a superhero cape already!
Awesome! I'd like to see the results of this in better lighting. Direct sunlight often 'blows out' images and you don't get a true depth of color. Just after the sun goes down or on a cloudy day makes for better images. Regardless, I trust this works and you got the results you were after.
I tried it as well but leaves a rusty smell, bothers me a lot fo inside house use. Also I wonder that the wood is aging with chemicals, propably is weaker now to the weather when used outside. Any thoughts??
Howdy brother- I’ve seen where this has been done but it was on yellow pine and it was really dark, not what aged yellow pine actually looks like. I’m guessing they left the steel wool in too long. I’ve aged some timbers but I used a different method. What you did looks good. Hope all is well. Take care and God’s blessings to you

I literally just put up board and batten on my camp last year and was just talking to my wife saying how I wish it would weather faster, thanks !
Just try it on a small piece to check the color. You can water down if needed
Cool video Jerry. I've used that trick a few times over the years. Ole Archie is a mad man.
Wow!!! Looks beautiful... what a great and simple tip!!! Will try one day. 😊🌿🕊
Looks great, turned out really nice and looks to be a perfect match.
Looks so nice. Good job.
Looks great, nice tip... your co-star Archie trying to steal the show? Have you done a update on your garden? Thanks for sharing again.
Not yet on the garden. It’s been kinda crappy in Ohio. Going to get back on that soon.
Place looks fantastic!
So pretty 👏 bravo! Yes please on the Lavender videos 🤭
Awesome!

Omg I held my breath when Archie jumped across…
Looks great!
Did you apply a sealant afterwards? Or does the vinegar and steel wool act as a preservative? Thanks
I didn’t apply a sealant. If wood has time to dry you do not need it.

Howdy Paul!! Your right about that. If your not careful with pine it will turn it brown not gray
I use it to dye leather black. It's called vinegaroon.
Are you going to put some tar oil on it or just leave it as it is?.
I’m just leaving it as it is
Have you got a front kitchen
Yes
Now I need to know about the pizza party. 😋 LoL
May 27th after 5
